Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 204: Chapter 202: Purple Armor Transaction

After packing all the architectural design plans, Gu Xi asked Du Wushuang for help and dragged those supplies outside the door of Warehouse No. 9.

Then Gu Xi turned his hand, and the city gate appeared above these supplies. As the city gate moved forward, all the supplies were thus sent into Yalidu City.

Du Wushuang was quite surprised by Gu Xi’s method of operation.

”Where are your undead minions? Why didn’t you have them come out to move the stuff inside?”

”Don’t mention it. In this battle, my undead minions almost all got wiped out, and I haven’t had time to release the compensated undead. There’s nobody in my city right now, so I can only use this method to send things in.

Once I handle the matters here, I’ll then deal with the city’s issues.”

”Do you have other matters to attend to here?”

Du Wushuang blinked, looking at Gu Xi with anticipation.

”I still have one transaction unfinished, right? Liu Kai arranged for a wealthy buyer who could purchase the purple armor, and I also have the Tree of Wisdom quest unfinished.”

”What kind of mission is that? You can do that sort of long-term quest anywhere. Are you blind or something? No way, I won’t let you go today.”

Upon hearing this, Du Wushuang puffed up her cheeks, grabbed Gu Xi, and hoisted him up, ”You’re not going anywhere today.”

”Alright, alright, I get it. Could you please put me down first?”

Gu Xi was extremely uncomfortable being carried and was also afraid of hurting Du Wushuang, so he just waved his hand in a display of struggle.

As for the so-called long-term quest and the Tree of Wisdom, Gu Xi couldn’t concern himself with those at the moment.

Anyway, this quest was just a freebie, so he wasn’t missing out on it for now.

Seeing that Gu Xi’s struggle weakened, Du Wushuang laughed happily.

In the midst of her laughter, the sky over the Scattered Immortal Garden inexplicably turned from white to black, then from black to white, and a day and a half passed in the blink of an eye.

It wasn’t until Liu Kai’s Raven delivered a letter that the much thinner Gu Xi came out supporting his waist.

He was leaning on the Cold Wind Staff with one hand and released the Evil Coffin, then looked up at the Raven delivering the letter and said.

”I’m not familiar with this place, could you guide me?”

The intelligent Raven glanced at Gu Xi, finally landing on the Evil Coffin.

Gu Xi struggled to climb onto the Evil Coffin, holding tightly to the iron chain on it to protect his body.

The Evil Coffin darted forward quickly, taking Gu Xi with it.

The Raven flew while pointing the way, leading Gu Xi to the edge of the Crystal Forest.

There, Liu Kai was conversing with a rather handsome Death Knight.

This Death Knight was tall and strong, wearing a silver-blue half-body armor, holding a helmet in one hand, with long black hair casually draping down. The more it seemed to be an act, the more it was.

At his feet lay a platinum-colored long-handled square-headed iron hammer.

For some reason, as soon as the hammer stood on the ground, Gu Xi could faintly hear a strange melody from a distance.

This anomaly made Gu Xi pause, understanding that this hammer might be a piece of purple equipment.

Seeing Gu Xi’s little movements, the Death Knight instead burst into laughter.

”Kai, you were right, he has great purple equipment. Hello, I’m Song Yumo, the Death Knight, nice to meet you.”

Gu Xi quickly extended his hand to shake, ”Gu Xi.”

”I’ve heard about you, the top of the Netherworld Wind Academy, master of one of the Three Divine Skills, known as the Breath of the Dead.”

”You’re too kind, you’re too kind!”

”Let’s not talk about anything else, Kai said you have purple tank equipment for a Death Knight, or a shield, take it out and let me see.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi felt pleased. He took out the Ghost Face and Deceitful Immortal Hand, placing them in front of Song Yumo.

”It’s not just a piece, it can actually be seen as a set.”

As soon as Gu Xi took out the Ghost Face, Song Yumo’s expression changed, and the square-headed iron hammer by his feet unexpectedly emitted a bizarre clear light, within which a skeleton kept waving its hands.

Song Yumo looked serious, he picked up the Ghost Face, carefully examined its attributes, and finally said a word.

”Good stuff.”

At this moment, Liu Kai also took the Deceitful Immortal Hand from the side, initially looking confused, then turned speechless toward Gu Xi, ”Comrade Gu, you’re really throwing this in as part of the package?

Are you crazy? Don’t you know, this thing can fetch a top price from any Death Knight.”

”Oh, what is it, let me see?”

Song Yumo reached out and took the Deceitful Immortal Hand, glanced at it, and then looked towards Gu Xi.

”Comrade Gu, these two items shouldn’t be sold together; this shield is for the main tank, and the Deceitful Immortal Hand is for the off-tank. Mixing them together won’t get you a good price.”

Gu Xi was also speechless, he didn’t expect there to be so many distinctions in tank equipment.

He thought combining them in a package would fetch a higher price.

Unexpectedly, it backfired here.

Fortunately, Song Yumo was quite interested in these two pieces of equipment.

”But no worries, we have many Death Knights in my home, and the Deceitful Immortal Hand is just right for my brother. However, this shield...”

Song Yumo paused momentarily, then looked up and said, ”This thing is not particularly needed at my home.”

Gu Xi wanted to ask why, but upon seeing Song Yumo’s handsome face and thinking about the special skill on the Ghost Face, Gu Xi realized.

If everyone in his home had such faces, probably no one would be willing to use the Ghost Face.

Just as Gu Xi was about to take back the Ghost Face, Song Yumo spoke again, ”It just so happens that a friend of mine would be keen to use this, as he’s vying for the main tank position with the Blazing Sun Knight Order’s Fourth Squad. This item is quite important to him.

I’ll offer an estimate and then give you more if he pays extra.”

Hearing Song Yumo say this, Gu Xi couldn’t help but turn his gaze to Liu Kai.

Then he smiled and responded, ”Sure, name your price, if it works, then it’s a done deal.”

”Earlier Kai mentioned you wanted large architectural design plans, specifically for either the Witch Demon Tomb or the Dragon Tomb.

I must say, your offer isn’t much different from the market price, but these two items aren’t easy to find, especially the Dragon Tomb, which doesn’t exist on the market at all.

Even within the guilds, there’s no Dragon Tomb building.

The Tomb Guild does have two, but what’s produced are Corpse Witches.

And both of these are treasures of the Sun Mage Corps, all Undead Mages who join the Sun Mage Corps have their Life Boxes recorded in the tomb. If they die in battle midway, they’ll be transformed into Corpse Witches here.

It’s said that in the past, older players fought over these two tombs for more than five years.

If you want these architectural design plans, it’s basically impossible, but if you settle for less, I have an idea.”
