Scattered Immortal Garden, Warehouse No. 9.

Gu Xi stood at the front of the warehouse with Du Wushuang.

The warehouse manager, Kern, was looking at the two delivery notes Gu Xi handed over.

Kern still had some impression of Gu Xi because Gu Xi had directly taken ten architectural design plans from him before.

This time he wants twenty. Is he planning to wholesale?

Kern internally grumbled but didn’t ask much. After glancing at Gu Xi, he coldly said.

”Wait here.”

After saying this, Kern directly went into the warehouse. Before long, some statue-like existences pushed out heavy boxes.

These boxes were filled with Gu Xi’s materials.

Since this was crucial to his future city-building, Gu Xi dared not relax.

After the statues placed down the boxes, Gu Xi quickly opened them and started checking them one by one.

”Negative energy, the count is correct, food, this quality is only average, these herbs are all ordinary, the wood is not cut properly...”

After muttering to himself while checking, Gu Xi finally finished checking the materials in front of him.

Although there were various issues, the quantity was correct.

No matter how dissatisfied Gu Xi was, he couldn’t ask for a replacement citing incorrect quantity.

Fortunately, Kern quickly brought out the twenty architectural design plans Gu Xi requested, immediately capturing Gu Xi and Du Wushuang’s attention.

Looking at the twenty boxes on the ground, Gu Xi glanced at Du Wushuang, meaning clearly: Miss, it’s your turn, let’s see your luck.

Du Wushuang, not being shy, stepped up and opened a box, then excitedly shouted, ”Gu Xi, look, how’s my luck?”

Gu Xi peeked inside and found a small lump of soil surrounded by a faint blue mist.

[Haunted Mine - Crystal Design Map (Medium-sized): Use 500 resources, 10 units of stone, and 10 units of wood to build a haunted mine - crystal (medium-sized building) in the city, producing 1 unit of crystal daily (Upgradeable)]

Seeing this, Gu Xi smiled and said to Du Wushuang, ”Not bad, to get this, your luck is really something, come on, open more!”

No need for Gu Xi to explain, Du Wushuang knew she had obtained a valuable item. She laughed happily.

”Should I keep opening the next ones?”

”Of course, you open it. The more mines, the better, then I can brag about having a mine at home.”

”Hahahaha!”

Hearing Gu Xi’s words, Du Wushuang laughed out loud.

But her hands didn’t stop, and she casually opened another box.

This time, the box didn’t contain another medium-sized building design but a small building design, though the quality was still good.

When Gu Xi looked over, he found a piece of iron inside the box.

[Steel City Gate Design Map (Small-sized): Use 200 resources, 10 units of metal to build a steel city gate (small-sized building) in the city, the gate can be fitted with three defense groups (Upgradeable)]

Another gate.

Gu Xi was quite pleased in his heart.

With the current strength of his Death City, he could only place gates on the battlefield.

In the battle of the Undead Calamity Array, Gu Xi discovered a weakness of his Death City skill, where having only one city gate meant defending it rather than quickly deploying troops through it.

If Gu Xi had two gates in the last battle, he could have one in the Undead Calamity Array guarding the token and another outside fighting with the Other Ghost.

In the end, when retreating, not so many undead would have been left outside the Undead Calamity Array.

”Gu Xi, what’s wrong, did I get something bad?”

”No, the more gates, the better for me. These are good things.”

Seeing that she didn’t open anything problematic, Du Wushuang finally breathed a sigh of relief, but she was still a bit hesitant about whether to continue opening.

Gu Xi noticed Du Wushuang’s concern and quickly explained the situation to her.

This made Du Wushuang feel less conflicted. After all, a Death Knight, who once could carry Gu Xi directly away, was mainly broad-hearted and rough-hewn and wouldn’t be entangled in such matters for long.

After opening two boxes, she got into the groove and opened all the boxes on the ground in one go.

Gu Xi followed behind, looking at the items inside the boxes, and had to admit that Du Wushuang’s luck was better than his.

Among the eighteen boxes, there were surprisingly three building design plans that moved Gu Xi, along with two others Gu Xi couldn’t quite understand how they came out.

[Plunder Hall Design Map (Small-sized): Use 300 resources, 10 units of stone, and 10 units of metal to build a Plunder Hall (small-sized building) in the city, earning an additional 250 corresponding resources after each victory.]

[Witchcraft Secret Chamber Design Map (Medium-sized): Use 500 resources, 10 units of stone, 5 units of metal, and 5 units of herbs to build a Witchcraft Secret Chamber (medium-sized building) in the city, increasing the magic research and learning speed of the Magic Tower by 50%.]

[Eternal Enslavement Altar Design Map (Medium-sized): Use 500 resources, 10 units of stone, 10 units of wood, and 1 unit of mercury to build an Eternal Enslavement Altar (medium-sized building) in the city, where after each battle, there’s a 50% chance for our undead corpses to automatically return to the altar and be re-recruited at a cost 50% higher than the hiring price.]

These three held different significance to Gu Xi.

Once the Plunder Hall is built, Gu Xi can get extra negative energy from each battle, which, although small, is a form of accumulating bit by bit for Gu Xi.

The Witchcraft Secret Chamber is specifically for the Magic Tower. Gu Xi understands well that once the Magic Tower is built, it’s not just a place for players or heroes to learn magic.

It can also train various levels of mage troops and teach them the magic recorded within.

This type of structure that can accelerate magic research and learning is considered rare in any city, and getting it is a sign of Du Wushuang’s exceptionally good luck.

The final Eternal Enslavement Altar is tailored for the Undead Mage.

When an Undead Mage’s subordinates die in battle, they can still use the Soul Summoning Skill.

But typically, an Undead Mage doesn’t do this often because the success rate of the Soul Summoning Skill is low, and it only summons a Level 0 Skeleton. There’s not much difference between using one’s own subordinates’ corpses and those of the enemy.

But the Eternal Enslavement Altar is different; it can retrieve half of the corpses and revive them at their original level for money, a great way to restore fighting power.

If he had this earlier, Gu Xi’s Combat Squad 1 wouldn’t have been completely wiped out. Therefore, Gu Xi is quite attentive to the Eternal Enslavement Altar.
