Looking at the exit information of bus station 19 in front of him, Gu Xi did not directly exit the instance. A city gate quickly appeared behind him.

Shaya, who had been waiting behind the city gate, swiftly emerged with the Vampire Knight troops.

The nearby soldiers glanced in this direction at the sudden appearance of the Vampire Knights.

Upon discovering that these Vampires were obedient under Gu Xi’s control, they did not come over to inquire about the situation.

They had already heard earlier that Gu Xi was an Undead Mage capable of summoning some Undead, which was a normal course of action.

However, they didn’t expect that Gu Xi did not immediately proceed to handle the newly-received mission but instead glanced at Shaya.

Shaya quickly led the Vampire Knights into bus station 19.

Gu Xi stood in front of the bus station waiting.

Although Gu Xi’s actions seemed inexplicable at the moment, most of the soldiers did not come to bother him.

In their view, Gu Xi could directly open a city gate to summon a batch of Undead; he might dispatch them, which could be another means for Gu Xi to call upon other Undead.

After about twenty minutes, Shaya returned alone from inside bus station 19.

”How was it?”

”Usable to enter, but the timeline is not the same as the instance’s timeline.”

Gu Xi had anticipated this; he had been out of Victoria City for so long, yet only a day had passed in the instance, indicating that the instance was no longer aligned with Victoria City once the Dungeon Crystal was generated.

A mismatch in timelines was normal, but he was more concerned about the current situation in Victoria City.

”Victoria City is almost on fire now.”

”Take the troops over there and protect our building, ignoring anything else. The building must be held; it’s our territory. Even if Victoria City burns to the ground, this place must be ours.”

Gu Xi knew very well what he needed; this trip’s main goals were to investigate the instance and establish a connection with Victoria City.

”Fine, but sir, there is something I need to clarify.”

”You speak.”

Understanding Shaya’s hesitation, Gu Xi encouraged her to speak.

”I can lead the team out of the instance into Victoria City and return from Victoria City to the instance, but the Undead I take out can’t return to the instance.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi understood Shaya’s implication.

The Undead she takes away will be unable to assist Gu Xi in the upcoming instance battle.

”No problem, completing the instance isn’t my priority this time. The fewer troops, the fewer troops—we must focus on Victoria City now.”

Gu Xi resolutely said, ”We need to calculate our available forces now, Shaya. This time, I can’t provide you with many troops, but your mission in Victoria City is crucial.”

”Rest assured, sir, I’ll handle everything in Victoria City.”

Shaya patted her chest in affirmation.

”Ok, I’ll contact Luna to tally up the available forces.”

While speaking, Gu Xi summoned the city gate of Death City.

At this time, Luna led 100 Ghosts and 50 Withereds through the city gate.

Seeing Gu Xi start to summon troops, the soldiers paying attention to this scenario nodded in approval.

It seemed Gu Xi truly intended to aid the Eldest Princess, as these batches of troops were all allies.

Gu Xi began explaining Victoria City’s situation to Luna.

He also inquired about how many troops in the city could be deployed.

To Gu Xi’s queries, Luna promptly provided a certain answer.

”We can deploy three thousand Undead without affecting the Magic Plant District and Barracks. Any more would compromise those areas.”

Hearing Luna’s declaration, Gu Xi recalled the empty scene in Yalidov City during the last Undead Calamity Ceremony battle.

He also thought about the currently activated Evil Wood Lake.

If all troops were withdrawn, Yalidov City would likely be unsafe too.

Luna’s ability to muster three thousand troops represented Yalidov City’s current deployment limit.

Considering this, Gu Xi glanced at Shaya.

Shaya immediately stated, ”Our building can’t hide so many; I need elites, around three hundred.”

”Make it five hundred. Select your troops; if needed, place them elsewhere in Victoria City. Ensure your safety first, then think about the rest. Besides the instance, we don’t know when contact with Victoria can be re-established.

If you lack some forces, you might not be able to hold the line.”

Shaya understood Victoria City’s situation and was not coy about it. She began summoning troops right then and there.

”I need five hundred soldiers; I just brought out 9 Vampires, and later give me 50 Ghosts, their traits are useful in many areas.

The Zombies should be defensive; an offensive-defensive battle is sure to happen, so defense must be adequate, starting with 100.

I need two hundred Skeleton Gunners; I’ve heard about their combat style—it’s most effective in large-scale battles.

I also want ten Withereds; I require units for blood replenishment.

Additionally, give me 30 Skeleton Mages and 20 Corpse Poison Flies; with them, regardless of ground combat or underground or elsewhere, safety can be ensured.

The remainder can be regular Undead, regular Skeleton Soldiers will suffice.”

Gu Xi knew Shaya initially planned for around three hundred elites to cross over.

It wasn’t until Gu Xi insisted on five hundred soldiers that she considered other troops.

”Alright, I’ll prioritize selecting veterans, Luna.”

Luna understood Gu Xi’s intentions immediately and swiftly entered Yalidov City through the city gate.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi gave Shaya final instructions.

”Shaya, take an owl with you later. For any information, use the owl to communicate. If the owl cannot contact, prioritize your safety.

Then maintain the connection between Yalidov City and Victoria City, which includes our building.

When possible, seize some land this time, even land that’s been burnt.”

Upon hearing this, Shaya understood the priorities and nodded firmly, indicating she wouldn’t falter.

”By the way, while at Victoria City, see if there’s any mission related to the Westminster Cathedral major event available. The three outside missions could possibly only be taken from Victoria City; I can’t go now, so you need to handle this task.”

”Rest assured, sir!”

At this moment, Luna returned with the selected Undead troops from Yalidov City, carrying substantial supplies in the hands of all the Undead.
