Three hours later, Gu Xi looked at the Vampire Knight behind Shaya and couldn’t help shaking his head.

”There’s no issue with you following me. Luna needs to oversee work in Yalidov, but bringing all these Vampire Knights is unnecessary; having vampires in the guild is somewhat ostentatious.”

”Master, think about your Death Incarnation. Bringing vampires isn’t as flashy as bringing a Bone Dragon.”

Shaya didn’t hold back, instantly countering Gu Xi’s thoughts with a single sentence.

Regarding Shaya’s attitude, Gu Xi couldn’t say much. This person belonged to a quirky existence, daring to tease Gu Xi even before turning into an Undead. Now that she’s turned into an Undead, there’s nothing she wouldn’t dare to do.

”That’s reasonable, but isn’t it too much? You’ve dragged out every vampire from the Vampire Mansion.”

”If we don’t bring them out now, when will we? Once that big fellow Di Mi follows orders, won’t the vampires be under her command?”

Faced with this situation, Gu Xi could only say, ”Alright, let’s bring them out to show them off; it can be considered as a protection.”

While speaking, Gu Xi exited Yalidu City.

Reappearing in a small plaza by the roadside, Gu Xi glanced around. He noticed that many of the players passing by had some Undead with them. On one hand, these Undead serve as protection for the players; on the other hand, they display the player’s strength to others.

Some players even bring all their Undead with them.

This reassured Gu Xi considerably. He lifted his head and walked out with Shaya, as for the Vampire Knights behind him, just like Shaya initially said, bringing a few vampires isn’t as flashy when you’ve been carrying Bone Dragons all along.

After leaving Yalidu City, Gu Xi habitually wanted to find a Fierce Weasel to lead the way.

Before he could summon one, Shaya emerged from behind Gu Xi.

”Master, watch me.”

The tacit understanding between Gu Xi and his Contracted Undead was high; he immediately knew what Shaya wanted to do: ”Okay, you’ll lead the way.”

Shaya smiled slightly and took the lead, just like in Victoria City; no matter where they were headed, Shaya would lead the way.

This is actually a sort of hidden ability of Shaya. As a Thief, even in places she’s never been, she can find the most convenient or correct path.

Because of this, Gu Xi let Shaya lead rather than calling on a Fierce Weasel.

Shaya didn’t disappoint Gu Xi, she only took a small circle outside and confirmed the direction.

At this point, Gu Xi was already sitting atop the Evil Coffin, Shaya leading the way upfront, followed by a group of bats formed from Vampire Knights.

They headed towards the southeast of the Chaoyang Radiance Guild’s station, where a business street built by the guild main was located.

Many commercial buildings were constructed here, and the street was three times wider than elsewhere, allowing players to set up stalls freely, with several player-friendly offices also situated here.

Here, Gu Xi saw the Library, restaurant, Tavern, barber shop, etc.

And his goal this time was the Battle Banner Design Studio located here.

Normally speaking, as long as you’re a player, once officially employed, you can start designing your own badge and Battle Banner.

Back when Level 1 rookies had no special opportunities, their Battle Banner typically lacked attributes, and such rookie Banners would bring more shame on the battlefield than displaying a white flag.

Therefore, most players would start designing their Battle Banner after mastering their talent at Level 5.

Of course, some players with family heritage have their Banner set from birth, and when preparing their Banner, they just need to come to modify it.

There’s no need to redesign the graphics.

Gu Xi belongs to those without family heritage; currently, his Banner has only a chief emblem and an Undead Calamity Ceremony Badge besides a white flag. This makes Gu Xi feel rather uncomfortable every time he displays his Banner.

Now that he finally has free time, Gu Xi naturally seeks a professional to design his Battle Banner.

Pushing open the door of the Battle Banner Design Studio, a player wearing glasses immediately stood up.

Tall and thin with graying hair, he wore blue armbands on his hands, looking like an old tailor.

”Hello, comrade, are you here for a Battle Banner? I can tell, you’re Level 4, about to hit Level 5, definitely time to have your own Battle Banner.”

”Yes, please design a Battle Banner for me.”

”Sure, no problem, please sit here first. By the way, comrade, let me explain first, the first-time Battle Banner design is funded by the guild, free of charge, but from the second time on, anything added or a complete redesign will cost money.”

”I understand, please design it first.”

”Alright, do you have any preferred colors for your Battle Banner as an Undead Mage? Generally, you can choose gray or purple, and our Chaoyang Radiance Guild also has a specific color, like the twilight’s sunset red.”

Initially, Gu Xi quite liked the purple flag surface, but once the sunset red was brought out, Gu Xi’s eyes lit up.

He truly liked this color; aside from anything else, the feeling of bright yellow about to turn red satisfied him.

”Let’s go with this sunset red.”

”Okay, but let me clarify first, there aren’t many colors that match this sunset red. Among ordinary colors, only black and dark blue are available; others like cloud black and meteor purple require additional payment.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi chuckled, thinking, you’re trying to play tricks with me here? Sorry, I studied art in high school.

Although I can’t draw well myself, I can critique and direct easily.

Things like colorful black are what someone like me can come up with.

”Match it with black and dark blue, we’ll adjust after seeing the effect.”

The old tailor didn’t say much when Gu Xi didn’t choose the other colors he recommended. Stretching his hand and tapping once in front, a sunset red flag appeared before Gu Xi, and the old tailor quickly took out black and dark blue pens to start drawing.

Just then, Gu Xi asked, ”Among ordinary colors, what choices are there for white and a brighter shade of blue?”

”Ordinary white, silvery white, water-light blue...”

The old tailor wasn’t sure why Gu Xi asked this, but he quickly listed them.

With every color mentioned, a pen would appear in front of him.

Gu Xi could identify the colors described by the old tailor through the pen colors.

After almost displaying all ordinary colors, Gu Xi finally said.

”Start drawing, and if you need to change colors, follow my arrangement.”
