After passing through the empty Hundred-armed Giant Graveyard District, Gu Xi and the others arrived at the edge of the Hundred-armed Giant Graveyard District.

Here the ground rapidly sank, with broken steps and moss-covered green bricks marked with dark red traces.

Standing on the edge of the corridor and looking down, one could see that the submerged land was shrouded in a thick blood mist.

Shaya and Di Mi quickly appeared the moment Gu Xi’s Evil Coffin stopped.

Di Mi sniffed the air, a trace of disdain flashing in her eyes.

”Poisoned blood, uninteresting.”

Although Di Mi said so, her eyes remained fixed on the Blood Cellar District before her.

Looking down, all the buildings in the Blood Cellar District were constructed around a central cross-shaped structure.

The cross-shaped building resembled a European manor house, constructed entirely of bluish stone. Under the blood mist, the building looked quite sinister.

Outside the building were numerous vines, which, from a distance, gave an impression of disrepair.

On either side of the manor, there was a swimming pool full of filthy blood water and a garden filled with blood-red fruits. When the wind blew through the garden, the fruits even let out giggling sounds.

”Let’s go down and take a look.”

Gu Xi patted the Evil Coffin, and it sped downward with him, followed closely by his subordinates jumping down to proceed alongside him.

Upon landing in the Blood Cellar, Gu Xi’s first sight was of the Vampire Statues built by the roadside.

Rather than statues, they looked more like vampire anatomical mannequins, openly displaying the vampires’ skin, muscles, organs, and bones.

Simultaneously, Gu Xi noticed many vampire corpses hung along the roadside, and nailed into each vampire was an iron cone made of peach wood or silver.

As Gu Xi walked past, these clearly dead vampires opened their eyes, their gazes following Gu Xi as he moved.

Faced with such a sight, Gu Xi was somewhat speechless.

What is this?

Background props? Or natural supporting structures?

Fortunately, not many vampires were nailed by the roadside, and Gu Xi soon saw the path leading to the Vampire Mansion.

The ground road was also paved with bluish stone slabs, etched with the weapons used by vampires and vampire hunters.

This was clearly indicating to Gu Xi that the vampires trained within this Vampire Mansion were of the combat-ready kind.

As they approached the Vampire Mansion, Gu Xi noticed that its gates were already open. Several men wearing chain armor, draped in black cloaks, and wielding two-handed longswords stood at the entrance, waiting for Gu Xi’s arrival.

However, Gu Xi also noticed a throne made up of countless bats placed by the fountain in front of the Vampire Mansion. The fountain’s water fell onto the throne, turning into blood and flowing into the pool.

Before Gu Xi could say anything, Di Mi stepped forward, entering the fountain and reaching out to touch the throne.

Gu Xi glanced at Di Mi, ”What, do you want it?”

”Ah, no, it’s not that.”

Di Mi was a bit embarrassed. The Blood Throne held a certain allure for her, but it wasn’t something she absolutely needed.

She didn’t know why she stepped up as soon as she saw the Blood Throne.

Di Mi awkwardly looked at Gu Xi.

Gu Xi didn’t mind and waved his hand towards Di Mi, saying, ”It’s fine. We’ll be staying here for a while; you can continue.”

Blushing, Di Mi lost her previous noblewoman demeanor, tucked her head down, and followed behind Gu Xi.

Only then did Gu Xi turn his attention to the several men standing at the entrance.

Gu Xi noticed that besides the two-handed longswords, they each held a silver medal.

He was momentarily stunned, then understood the situation, so Gu Xi took a medal and hung it on the chest of one of the men.

In the next moment, the man’s aura noticeably increased.

At the same time, green blood appeared on the longsword he held.

This indicated that the man’s strength had increased upon the medal being attached.

”Thank you, sire.”

The man bowed his head to Gu Xi.

For the first time, Gu Xi was surprised, then he chuckled.

For the first time, Gu Xi heard a soldier speak to him.

”Vampire Knight?”

Gu Xi inquired.

”Yes, once the medal is worn, one becomes a Vampire Knight. Wearing it before being recruited increases the recruitment cost, and after recruitment, sufficient experience is needed to wear it.”

The Vampire Knight replied earnestly, with responses that seemed rigid and nowhere as flexible as Di Mi’s.

Gu Xi wasn’t surprised by this, as these were merely soldiers and not yet even bosses.

”Then put them all on. Combat experience can grow through battles, but the level definitely needs to be prioritized.”

Gu Xi didn’t want to drag these vampires along; raising their levels first made acquiring combat experience simpler, didn’t it?

There was no need to delay over a little negative energy.

Hearing Gu Xi’s words, smiles appeared on the faces of all the men at the door.

They didn’t even need Gu Xi to lift a finger; they placed the medals on their chests themselves.

Once all the vampires had been promoted to Vampire Knights, Gu Xi recruited them all.

Gu Xi then glanced at Di Mi, seeing her looking up at the sky. Before the three large buildings were completed, Di Mi couldn’t lead troops into battle.

”Shaya, you take these vampires first; they should have agility attributes, right?”

When Gu Xi asked this, he looked at the Vampire Knights, waiting for their response.

”Yes.” An unexpected answer came from Di Mi, who spoke up, ”Their movement is somewhat like teleportation, but the range is smaller, allowing them to reach behind enemies.

However, the weapons they use aren’t suitable for assassins in combat.

After teleporting, a slashing kill is the most suitable action.”

Di Mi, possessing the potential to be a leader, was well-versed in the three types of soldiers she could command.

With merely a glance, she understood how to use these Vampire Knights.

Shaya was momentarily stunned, then expressed her gratitude to Di Mi.

Without Di Mi’s advice, she could indeed control these vampires, but it would take a considerable amount of time to familiarize herself.

With Di Mi’s reminder, she could take control in the shortest amount of time.

Whatever the case, Di Mi’s words deserved Shaya’s thanks.

By now, Gu Xi had toured the Bloody Garden beside the Vampire Mansion and looked further behind it, near the edge of the Blood Cellar District’s Bat Cave, before returning to the Vampire Mansion’s front entrance.
