”Sir, I saw the power of the Mirror Image Underground Palace there; today was just preliminary. If one night, the Apple Tree lights up and Westminster Cathedral is shrouded in darkness, it means they’ve succeeded in mirroring.”

Gu Xi didn’t ask what would happen if the mirroring succeeded. In the fog of Yalidu City, another structure would appear, opposite to the Westminster Cathedral.

But that wasn’t a dungeon, so it didn’t have a significant impact on Gu Xi, and he didn’t particularly care.

The most it would mean is that Yalidov would have a new direction for development in the future, without needing to consider other factors.

While Gu Xi was thinking about this, Luna spoke up.

”Sir, there’s something you might want to know about.”

Seeing Luna’s serious expression, Gu Xi’s demeanor also became tense.

”What is it? Is there a problem with Yalidu City? Or is it more bad news from Shaya’s side?”

Gu Xi understood Luna’s thinking quite well. The last time she had this expression was when Shaya left a paper in the Assembly Hall hoping for help.

This time, although not as urgent as last, meeting her eyes confirmed that something was indeed wrong.

Hopefully, it’s not another issue from Shaya’s side that Luna needs to send troops to help with.

”No, it has nothing to do with Shaya. Do you still remember the Apple Tree root we blew off?”

”Yes, what’s up with it?” Gu Xi nodded affirmatively, and thinking about it, Gu Xi regretted not taking that Apple Tree root back then.

It was such a valuable material.

”When I got swept away by the water, I grabbed the Apple Tree root, so I brought it back to Yalidu City and threw it into Evil Wood Lake.”

”Oh, well done.”

Although it was a pity that the Apple Tree root wasn’t used for other materials, Luna used it, and he wasn’t lacking in it.

But what Luna said next almost scared Gu Xi.

”Sir, when I threw the Apple Tree root into Evil Wood Lake, I realized that the tentacle root in Evil Wood Lake is also an Apple Tree root. When we threw the Apple Tree root in, it immediately stimulated the root in Evil Wood Lake, and now the lake water is expanding.

It’s flooding the entire Magic Plant District.”

”What did you say?”

Gu Xi shouted directly.

”I threw the Apple Tree root...”

Luna wanted to repeat, but Gu Xi waved his hand.

He realized that his estimate was wrong. Apparently, within the fog, there already was a mirrored Westminster Cathedral and Apple Tree.

Otherwise, the Apple Tree root wouldn’t have gone to the Medieval District and destroyed the land there.

”Can the Magic Plant District over there still be restrained?”

”Yes, I hadn’t mentioned it before, but we can temporarily suppress it. But sir, if Westminster Cathedral really succeeds in the mirroring, I’m afraid there will be problems.”

Gu Xi understood Luna’s concerns immediately.

He thought seriously for a moment, ”Here’s what we’ll do. Didn’t I just receive a Land Grant Order? Use it in the Magic Plant District, expand it outward and preserve the vacant land first. We’ll deal with the rest when we have time.”

”Alright.”

Luna also understood that Gu Xi originally intended to reserve the Land Grant Order to expand several plots of land for the Main City District.

Now it seems impossible. If Evil Wood Lake bursts like this, the Magic Plant District might encounter problems.

The Land Grant Order still needs to be used in the Magic Plant District.

”Also, with Di Mi—wait, have Amirka go as well.

Tell Di Mi to defend the Magic Plant District well, and have Amirka launch an attack into the fog to accelerate Evil Wood Lake’s activation speed.

If Evil Wood Lake fully becomes ours, even if the territory is flooded, it will still provide plots for constructing buildings. At worst, I will turn the Magic Plant District into a Magic Lake District and build some underwater structures.

If zombies can’t be used, then use water ghosts. With the Undead being flexible, I don’t worry about these things.”

Luna didn’t persuade much about Gu Xi’s arrangements.

After all, heroes are meant to handle these situations.

If it were just releasing the Undead Corps into the fog, no one would be at ease.

Even if commanded by a boss, it wouldn’t help.

But assigning a hero to lead makes all the difference.

Players have a reasonable amount of trust in heroes.

As long as heroes can complete the tasks assigned by players, they’re generally left alone in battle arrangements.

Not to mention a hero like Amirka who has potential and talent.

Once given a task, they manage everything well on their own.

”Call Amirka here, I’ll talk to him. Also, have Fuguduo keep an eye on the Magic Plant District.”

Gu Xi made quite a decisive move.

After deciding, he quickly made arrangements.

Amirka didn’t expect that just joining Gu Xi’s forces for less than a day, he would already have an important task assigned to him.

After listening to Gu Xi’s requirements, Amirka firmly said,

”Sir, rest assured, I will certainly bring back enough bizarre corpses.”

”Take care of yourself. The fog is quite strange, don’t get yourself trapped.”

”I understand. I will set up the array before the battle starts.”

Amirka said confidently.

Gu Xi didn’t say much, just watched Amirka quickly leave with the seven bosses and troops assigned to him.

Afterwards, Luna flew out of the City Gate, having completed Gu Xi’s instructions and was preparing to discuss the next steps with him.

But at this moment, Gu Xi noticed a group of troops withdrawing from Westminster Cathedral’s defense line.

Currently, Westminster Cathedral’s battles were clearly just beginning.

Their withdrawal, in essence, withdrew half the strength of the defense line.

Right now is the time of change at Westminster Cathedral, pulling out so many troops could be problematic if something bizarre emerges from Westminster Cathedral afterwards.

Gu Xi grabbed the Cold Wind Staff and quickly walked towards the nearby Grand Knight.

”Grand Knight, what’s the meaning of this?”

”The withdrawn troops, the King has already agreed to the Eldest Princess’s plan, prioritizing the handling of external enemies in the Underground Tomb.

As the King puts it, he won’t allow the enemy to flaunt outside the ancestor’s tomb.”

”But the situation there is clearly not right. Withdrawing now, won’t it cause problems?”

”No worries. Britain’s strongest defense legion is atop, and the Church’s forces are also present. The enemies can’t break out. Speaking of which, we are grateful to you; if it weren’t for you, we wouldn’t have known that guy had advanced this far.”
