Moving On from the Tsundere, I Choose the Perfect Sweetheart

Chapter 179: Chapter 179: Pandemonium at the First Class Meeting

”He’s gay???”

Peng Shaoqiang’s eyes lit up!

”Bro, if that’s what we’re talking about, I’m wide awake now!”

”Spill the tea on the gay dude!”

He shot He Dongdong a sleazy grin.

”...”

He Dongdong’s face flushed red, and for a moment, he didn’t know what to say.

Just as he was about to say something to clear up the misunderstanding, the sound of high heels echoed from the classroom doorway.

Then, a middle-aged woman in professional teacher’s attire and gold-rimmed glasses walked in through the door!

Instantly, the previously boisterous classroom fell silent.

Chen Wenjing stood at the lectern, first sweeping her gaze across everyone in the classroom.

She then turned, picked up a stylus, and wrote her name in large letters on the smartboard: Chen Wenjing!

Next, she wrote down a phone number.

”Ahem... Students, it’s a pleasure to meet you all here at Jinling University. For the next four years, I will be your counselor, guiding you through your university life! My name and contact number are on the board. Please take them down. If you encounter any difficulties or need anything in the future, you can contact me directly!”

”Holy shit!”

Peng Shaoqiang said with a look of terror, ”Our counselor is *her*?!”

”Hm?”

Wang Shouyi, a little curious, asked in a low voice, ”Young Master Peng, do you know our counselor?”

”I know her... well, not personally. I’ve just heard about her from the upperclassmen!”

”Chen Wenjing. Nickname: Master Extinction!”

”Apparently, she’s famous for being the strictest in the entire School of Economics and Management!”

Peng Shaoqiang explained in a hushed voice.

”Huh?”

Wang Shouyi was stunned!

He first snuck a glance at the smiling counselor, Chen Wenjing, on the stage, then looked back at the deadly-serious Peng Shaoqiang. In a small, disbelieving voice, he said, ”Young Master Peng, no way. I think Teacher Chen seems pretty kind and approachable!”

”Heh~”

”Young Master B, oh, Young Master B, if that’s what you think, then all I can say is, you’re still too young!”

Peng Shaoqiang said, shaking his head.

”...-_-||”

”Wait, what the hell is ’Young Master B’? When did I become Young Master B?”

Wang Shouyi asked, completely baffled.

Peng Shaoqiang glanced at him and said nonchalantly, ”Isn’t your name Wang Shouyi?”

”Yeah!”

Wang Shouyi replied, still confused.

”So what does Wang Shouyi sell?”

Peng Shaoqiang continued.

”Uh... thirteen-spice powder?”

Wang Shouyi said awkwardly.

”Exactly! And Wang Shouyi sells thirteen-spice, right? Well, ’13’ is basically the letter ’B’!”

”So calling you Young Master B is perfectly logical!”

Peng Shaoqiang spouted this nonsense with a completely straight face.

Wang Shouyi: ”...”

He was fucking speechless!

Seeing his awkwardness, Gu Yifan, who was sitting to the side, stepped in to help him out. ”Young Master Peng, let’s get back to the counselor.”

”Yeah!”

”You just said Teacher Chen is really strict. How strict are we talking?”

”Spill!”

Others nearby chimed in.

”Ahem~”

”To be honest, I don’t know that much either!”

”I just heard from the upperclassmen in the group chat that Master Extinc— uh, Teacher Chen is super ruthless!”

”In the classes she advises, no one dares to skip her lectures! Because if you skip just once, there’s a 99.9% chance you’ll fail the course! That last 0.01% depends entirely on her mood!”

*Hiss...*

Hearing his words, everyone around him couldn’t help but gasp.

A 99.9% failure rate for skipping class once, with the remaining 0.01% depending on her mood...

’What’s the difference between that and a 100% failure rate?!’

’In that case, no sane person would dare skip her class!’

The group of students thought helplessly.

Just then, the commotion caught the attention of Chen Wenjing at the lectern.

The smile vanished from her face. She frowned slightly, pointed toward Gu Yifan’s group, and said in an icy tone, ”Hey, hey, hey! What’s going on with you boys over there?”

As soon as she spoke, everyone in the classroom turned in unison to look at Peng Shaoqiang and the others.

With dozens of pairs of eyes staring at them, Peng Shaoqiang and his friends all blushed beet-red in embarrassment.

”I’m talking up here, and you’re talking down there, is that it?”

”Since you love talking so much, why don’t you come up here and do the talking!”

Chen Wenjing snapped, her face dark.

”Er...”

Peng Shaoqiang and the others exchanged a look, glancing at each other in dismay.

They all fell silent at once, lowering their heads like ostriches burying their heads in the sand.

Gu Yifan, however, remained calm. He had experienced scenes like this many times in his past life.

’No big deal.’

Alright!

Actually, the main reason was that he was sitting at the edge of the group. As that guy Peng Shaoqiang got louder and louder, he had already sensed something was wrong.

Before Chen Wenjing blew up, Gu Yifan had already straightened up and was sitting quietly in his seat like a model student, pretending to be completely focused on the board and jotting down the number.

So!

This time around, he wasn’t one of the people Chen Wenjing was yelling at!

Seeing that they didn’t dare to speak anymore, Chen Wenjing didn’t press the matter. After all, it was only the first day, and she was afraid of scaring everyone too much.

’There’s plenty of time. I can slowly play with these unruly little brats later. The disobedient ones... I’ll let them have a taste of what it feels like to fail!’

”Alright, are we all done talking now?”

After scanning the crowd, Chen Wenjing said expressionlessly, ”If you’re done, then I’ll start taking attendance. When I call your name, shout ’here’!”

The students looked at each other, but no one dared to speak again.

Seeing this, Chen Wenjing nodded in satisfaction, then opened the roster in her hands and began to read: ”Chen Siqi!”

”H-Here!”

Hearing her name, a girl in the front row stood up. She was about 4’11”, petite, but possessed some impressive assets. She answered weakly.

*Hiss...*

”Baby face, huge...!!”

”Holy crap... a legal loli!!!”

Instantly, a group of students in the class started murmuring amongst themselves again.

The surrounding chatter made Chen Siqi’s small face turn even redder. With her flushed cheeks, she looked like a ripe papaya!

”Hm?”

Even ”Master Extinction” Chen Wenjing was taken aback for a moment when she saw the girl, but she quickly recovered.

”Mm... You may be seated.”

She nodded at the Papaya Lady named Chen Siqi.

Then she continued the roll call: ”Peng Shaoqiang!”

Hearing his name, Peng Shaoqiang flipped his hair back in what he thought was a cool gesture and shouted, ”Here!”

Seeing this, Gu Yifan, who was next to him, was stunned for a second.

’Pan Zhoudan???’

’This guy really is a Sao Man!’

’If he did that move on the internet in the future, he’d definitely go viral!’

Gu Yifan thought to himself.

Chen Wenjing frowned slightly when she heard how loudly he shouted, but she didn’t say anything.

She nodded, signaling for Peng Shaoqiang to sit down.

Just as she was about to call the next name, she suddenly froze completely...
