Moving On from the Tsundere, I Choose the Perfect Sweetheart

Chapter 161: Chapter 161: That Girl Who Only Has Eyes for You, Of Course You Have to Spank Her Butt Swollen

After another long moment of silence, Su Qinghe noticed Gu Yifan’s breathing growing more and more ragged.

She suddenly remembered what she had learned in her high school health class and vaguely understood the kind of torment Gu Yifan was enduring.

”Are... are you really uncomfortable?”

”Yeah.”

Gu Yifan was trying his best to suppress the indecent thoughts in his mind, answering her casually.

Hearing the discomfort in Gu Yifan’s voice, Su Qinghe’s heart ached for him.

She hesitated for a moment, gently bit her lower lip, and whispered, ”How about... I help you...”

”????”

Gu Yifan’s eyes flew wide open. He looked down in shock at Su Qinghe, who was nestled in his arms.

”Su Hanhan, do you have any idea what you’re saying???” He shook his head slightly, a sense of helplessness in his voice.

”I... I do...”

Su Qinghe nodded, her little face burning.

”Uh...”

Now it was Gu Yifan’s turn to be utterly floored.

’Seriously!’

’You know, and you’re still saying that???’

For a moment, he had no idea what to say.

”Sigh~”

After a soft sigh, Gu Yifan said gently, ”Silly girl, it’s really not that bad. Don’t overthink it.”

Seeing Gu Yifan refuse, Su Qinghe whispered, her voice barely audible, ”But I don’t want you to be uncomfortable...”

After a moment’s thought, she added, ”Besides, the teacher in health class said that holding it in like this for too long is bad for your body...”

Gu Yifan: ”... -_-||”

’This Hanhan... she really knows a lot!’

However, Gu Yifan had no interest in just ”firing blanks.”

’If you’re going to do it, you do it for real. What’s the point of just firing blanks!’

More importantly, Gu Yifan didn’t want their first time to be a less-than-perfect memory.

After some serious thought, Gu Yifan spoke in a soft, gentle voice, ”Alright, it’s really fine. Just be good and don’t move, okay? I’ll just hold you while we sleep. Don’t let your mind wander!”

Since Gu Yifan had said as much, Su Qinghe didn’t press the issue.

”Oh, okay.”

In truth, she was scared too. She had only worked up the courage to say those things because she couldn’t bear to see Gu Yifan in discomfort.

Gu Yifan gently kissed her forehead and said tenderly, ”There now. It’s been a long day. Be good and get some sleep!”

”Mhm~”

Su Qinghe nodded obediently, then closed her eyes, feeling completely at ease.

Neither of them spoke again, quietly enjoying this beautiful moment that belonged only to them.

...

A while later, listening to the steady rhythm of Su Qinghe’s breathing in his arms, Gu Yifan knew she had fallen asleep.

He couldn’t help but smile when he thought about what Su Qinghe had said earlier.

’How could there be such a silly girl!’

Gu Yifan didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, but at the same time, he was deeply moved.

He looked down at Su Qinghe, who was smiling even in her sleep.

’A girl whose eyes are filled with only me?’

’How could I ever let her down!’

...

”Mmm~”

Su Qinghe let out a soft groan. Her eyelashes fluttered slightly before her eyes slowly opened.

Her eyes were still hazy with confusion, giving her a ”who am I, where am I” look.

Clearly, she wasn’t fully awake yet.

After another moment, Su Qinghe’s consciousness returned, and she instinctively glanced down.

She saw that she was sprawled on top of Gu Yifan like an octopus.

He was holding her tightly, their bodies pressed close. Even through the thin fabric of her pajamas, Su Qinghe could feel the scorching heat of Gu Yifan’s male body.

’This position...’

’Am I such a restless sleeper?’

Su Qinghe couldn’t help but blush.

”Hiss...”

Gu Yifan suddenly jolted awake, sucking in a sharp breath!

By now, Su Qinghe had realized what happened. Her face instantly turned beet red, and she was thrown into a complete panic.

Seeing that Gu Yifan was awake, she immediately started pretending to be asleep!

’There was no other way!’

’What I just did was a moment of pure social suicide!’

After being woken by a sharp pain, Gu Yifan was completely bewildered.

He instinctively glanced at Su Qinghe in his arms and saw that she was still asleep!

’Damn it!’

’Was I just dreaming?’

But the lingering, strange sensation made it feel like it wasn’t a dream!

’But what the hell was that, then?’

’Did I see a ghost or something?!’

After thinking for a long time, Gu Yifan still couldn’t figure out what had happened.

Shaking his head, he decided he must have just had a very realistic nightmare.

He turned to look out the window and saw that it was already broad daylight. Sunlight streamed through the gaps in the white sheer curtains, landing on Su Qinghe’s face. The peach fuzz on her fair little face was clearly visible, looking absolutely adorable.

Gu Yifan couldn’t resist reaching out to pinch her soft little cheek. Then, he grabbed his phone from the nightstand, lit up the screen, and saw that it was already 12:30 in the afternoon.

They had slept for a good six or seven hours. It was about time to get up and have lunch.

At that moment, when Gu Yifan pinched her cheek, Su Qinghe almost broke character and gave herself away!

’She had heard Gu Yifan’s soft muttering as clear as day!’

’If he found out *she* was the one who pinched him... I’m afraid...’

’The mental image was too horrifying; she didn’t dare think about it!’

She had no choice but to force down her guilt and continue pretending to be asleep!

SLAP~!

Just then, a crisp slapping sound rang out!

”????”

Su Qinghe felt her entire butt cheek go numb!

She shot her eyes open and stared at Gu Yifan in utter shock.

She saw him looking at her, spouting nonsense with a perfectly straight face. ”Su Hanhan, you’re awake? Hey, Su Hanhan, what’s with that expression? Did you have a nightmare? Su Hanhan... it’s time to get up. The sun’s already baking your butt...”

In that instant, all of Su Qinghe’s guilt vanished. She even felt that her earlier pinch had been too light!

’This rotten ”Bully” does nothing but pick on me all day!!!’

*Sob sob sob...*

...

「At 1:30 in the afternoon.」

Gu Yifan looked at Su Qinghe, who had been sullen and unhappy ever since she woke up, feeling a little puzzled.

”Hanhan, what’s wrong?”

”Didn’t you get enough sleep?”

Gu Yifan couldn’t help but ask.

Su Qinghe: ”...”

’Her butt cheek was still aching. When she was changing to go out earlier, she had snuck a peek—it was all swollen!’

’And now this jerk, Gu Yifan, had the nerve to ask her why she was unhappy!’

’If there weren’t so many people in the restaurant, she would have pounced on him right then and there and bitten the life out of this rascal who did nothing but bully her...’
