Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 5246: A Particular Heavens Warrior’s Intentions

Davis would honestly like that, but if there is no war, then he would be the number one target.

For this very reason, the Celestial Transcendent didn’t think that Davis would instantly help him destroy the Galaxy Wormhole easily. If it remained open, peace might be achieved, and the one to suffer would naturally be the Divine Emperor of Death. The onslaught of the human race’s main forces wasn’t something even a World Hegemon Stage could withstand.

They would be devoured like they were crops encompassed by locusts.

”But we don’t know if sharing is good since we don’t know how long the Golden Era will last. It should start from the very center and spread to all galaxies equally, but since it started from this realm, there’s no telling how long it would last or how far it would spread. What do you think?”

”...”

Davis’s narrowed brows twitched.

The Celestial Transcendent was asking him? What did he know? He was just an uprising force and didn’t know of the war situation nor the politics between the galaxies.

Davis just wanted to destroy the Galaxy Wormhole to get rid of the Hell Hydra Monarch and prevent more forces from appearing in this realm so he could conquer it. However, it seems like he needed to widen his horizons.

There were boons and banes to closing the Galaxy Wormhole or keeping it open.

”Didn’t you bring forth the Golden Era? Maybe you should also make the choice of sharing it or not.”

Seeing Davis go silent, the Celestial Transcendent chuckled.

After a few moments, Davis flicked his sleeve, his tone formal as he cupped his hands.

”This junior doesn’t dare claim to own the rights to the Golden Era. I just brought it over, and the universe empowers it, allowing it to do what it does best: bless the land, enrich the soil, imbue pure heaven and earth energy into the veins, and improve the lives of all the lifeforms underneath it. I naturally don’t think our human race alone should be the ones to enjoy it, but I also think our galaxy should have more share of this energy in the initial years, so for that, the Galaxy Wormhole needs to be closed and the problems eliminated. If the Golden Era eventually spreads across the galaxy and seeps into the other galaxies, then we don’t need to stop it from happening, but we should seal the leaks.”

The Celestial Transcendent’s gaze gleamed, ”Well said. However, this doesn’t consider those who are dying on the front lines and would face even more deaths because of closing the Galaxy Wormhole.”

Davis’s lips curled wryly, ”I couldn’t be bothered about the far future when my family’s present is at stake. I wish to obtain them a place of security. Taking it further, it’s the same thing for the human race. If we don’t take advantage of the Golden Era, then the other galaxies will. They will eventually come for us after the Golden Era is gone and they have strengthened themselves to the extreme. Since we’re only delaying the inevitable, why not strength our forces first and launch a counterattack? We might even be able to wrest some realms from them. My Davis Family members are no cowards. Even if I’m gone one day, they will naturally answer to the noble call of joining the war efforts and lay waste to our enemies. Even my first wife spared no effort to vanquish the forces from the Hydra Galaxy.”

”...”

The Celestial Transcendent paused before chuckling, ”It’s a pity you’re not one of my generals, but if your family could earn military achievements, then no one can touch them or say they’re the accursed descendants of the Divine Emperor of Death. Although I think your family wouldn’t have much loyalty to a side that’s trying to eliminate them, you do paint a good picture. My disciple Clara would also love it, so why not?”

”...”

Davis felt a bit shaken.

He nearly felt he earned direct approval for his family to settle into the Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realm. If Clara could oversee and protect the non-Divergents, then that would be great. Who else could he entrust his family to?

But ultimately, he wanted Azariel on the seat of the Realm Master.

There should be ups and downs while he was maturing into the Exalt Stage, and they would be more or less forcing him to become an Alpha Exalt, thereby cutting off his future, but with Everlight’s regression ability and the resources they possessed, this shouldn’t be a problem.

If Azariel refused and Evelynn didn’t allow it, he didn’t intend to force it either.

He loved having options, so he cupped his hands again and said formally.

”Please advise.”

The Celestial Transcendent nodded lightly, appearing satisfied by Davis’s conduct of a junior.

”Meet Madam Wesley.”

He flicked his sleeve, summoning an image of Madam Wesley with his soul force, ”She possesses the blessings of the World Spirit Hydra and is karmically a great boon to this realm. You wouldn’t even need to use the apocalyptic spirit to threaten others and thereby earn ill will. As long as Madam Wesley is there, then anyone who attempts to steal the realm will be met with ill fortune.”

”She was saved by your little sister, so she looks up to her. Your little sister asked her to marry her into your family, become wed with one of your family’s non-Divergents, and she agreed in order to repay the gratitude. In essence, you can bring your family right now, marry her into your family with one of your sons, and secure the realm.”

”...”

Davis blinked twice before blurting out, ”What? A political marriage...?”

He looked genuinely dumbfounded while the Celestial Transcendent nodded again.

”That’s what I said. If you had joined for tea, you would’ve been able to meet her. I would rather do this than give her back to the Trissadra Clan, where her fate would be to only be used. On the other hand, Clara personally vouched for her safety and happiness with the non-Divergents of the Davis Family. Hmm, you should perhaps create another faction name for them.”

Articulating up to this point, he sighed as he shook his head. Then, he paused for a moment before saying, ”This is one way. The other you mentioned is very difficult since Clara herself will descend to deal with the participants and help Madam Wesley secure the realm.”

”You-”

”I didn’t say anything. It was your little sister’s intention should you accept or refuse this offer.”

The Celestial Transcendent spread his hands, leaving Davis at a loss for words.

What exactly was Clara planning in her head?

However, he asked something else instead.

”Is Clara down there with Madam Wesley?”
