Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 293: Chapter 292: Not Allowed to Take the College Entrance Examination for Three Years

”Teacher... teacher, I was wrong... I was so wrong...” Song Yueqin, faced with undeniable facts, could only admit to the truth, ”Please don’t cancel my exam eligibility! I’ve toiled for three years, staying up late to study till dawn every day, all in the hopes of getting into a university...”

”Everyone else is hoping just as you are,” An Hao said sternly. ”Did others put in less effort than you? Not punishing you would be unfair to every other candidate!”

”Cheating first, followed by false accusations against a classmate! The circumstances are extremely serious, your exam eligibility is revoked, and you are banned from taking the college entrance exam for the next three years! This will also be recorded in your academic file!”

The authorities finally made their decision.

A roaring noise filled Song Yueqin’s ears, followed by a blackness before her eyes, and then she lost consciousness.

”Quick, quick, quick! She’s fainted! Pinch her philtrum, perform artificial respiration!”

There was chaos inside the conference room.

After some commotion, Song Yueqin came to weakly.

Seeing so many people around her and remembering the authorities’ decision, her heart ached so much that she couldn’t breathe.

She cried out loud!

Tears covered her face!

But not a single teacher present felt sympathy for her; instead, they lectured her: ”Regretting now? Know how to cry? What were you thinking at the time?”

Song Yueqin cried for a long time, until her tears were dry, and she had no energy left. Only then did she quiet down.

Seeing that it was getting late and fearing for Song Yueqin’s safety if she went back alone, worried she might harm herself, one of the leaders asked a teacher to escort her home.

Back in the village, An Ping relayed the outcome to Qin Jian, telling him not to worry anymore.

An Hao stayed home to prepare for the last day of her college entrance exams.

Song Yueqin wept and made a scene at home for a long time, and her family was at a loss for what to do.

Although Song Yueqin’s grandparents lived in the city, they were just ordinary people with no power to influence the situation for her.

After a long time of sighing and lamenting together, the family decided that on the third day, they would try to go to the exam site and see if the chief examiner would stop them.

On the last day of the high school exams, Song Yueqin arrived at the exam site, only to be stopped at the entrance.

She made a scene outside the exam room, shouting that if they didn’t let her take the exams, she’d prevent everyone from taking them.

In the end, the school called the police, and officers from the police station took her away.

For causing a disturbance at the exam site and affecting other candidates, she was detained for no more than fifteen days.

The exam site was finally quiet, and An Hao calmly completed her test paper.

The three days of the high school exams finally came to an end. As she walked out of the exam room, she took a deep breath.

She hoped for good results and to be able to enter the university she had always dreamed of!

An Hao walked out of the school and saw the familiar car parked across the street.

Qin Jian stood tall beside the car, waiting for An Hao.

Seeing her relaxed expression and smiling face, Qin Jian’s lips also turned upward in a smile.

He stepped forward and extended his hand to her, ”Congratulations on finishing the exams. It looks like you must have done well.”

An Hao smiled and nodded, ”I feel pretty good about it, but the final results still require waiting!”

”I believe in you!” Qin Jian smiled.

”Why?” An Hao tilted her head to look at him.

Looking into her bright eyes, Qin Jian’s smile deepened, ”Because Qin Jian’s future wife has to be the best! I trust my own judgment!”

His words made An Hao’s face flush with color. She gave Qin Jian a glance and couldn’t help but retort, ”Who is your wife! We aren’t even married
