Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 47 Special Steel ProductsChapter 47 Special Steel Products

After returning to the capital, Lin Chenran rested for a few days and then returned to the 077 Mechanical Military Factory in Linjiang Province.

He has been on business trips to Russia for a long time to open up the international trading business, and there are many matters waiting for him to deal with.

One of the most important things is that the superior leaders have approved the merger of Linjiang Province’s Second Textile Factory into the 077 Mechanical Military Factory and make it its subsidiary factory.

This requires Lin Chenran to go back personally to handle the relevant matters.

To this end, the superiors also put forward some conditions.

The two Type 61 destroyers that Lin Chenran brought back from the Russian bear belonged to the superior department.

Of course they are willing to buy it from the 077 Mechanical Arsenal at a scrap price.

Obviously, many senior officials have not given up hope and they want to try to see if they can repair the two Type 61 destroyers.

Even if it cannot be repaired, they hope to bet that the ship’s gas turbines are intact.

Lin Chenran was naturally very happy to accept it.

The original plan was to find a shipyard to dismantle the two Type 61 destroyers and melt the steel from the hulls.

Most of the Type 61 destroyers are made of special steel, which is a high-strength civilian steel even after melting.

The decision made by the superior leader exactly met his expectations, which not only solved the problem but also met the needs of all parties.

Kill two birds with one stone!
Kill two birds with one stone!
……

Linjiang Province 077 Machinery Military Factory

At this time, Song Xiyun had already learned from the phone that his factory director had returned from the capital.

He organized a group of senior leaders early and waited quietly for the director’s return at the gate of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

Time passed minute by minute, and finally, a black car slowly came into view and stopped in front of the factory gate.

The car door opened and Lin Chenran walked out.

His figure was tall and resolute, with a confident smile on his face.

He was dressed in a neat suit and looked particularly energetic.

When Lin Chenran saw the senior executives of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory, he was moved.

Lin Chenran stepped forward quickly, tightly grasped Song Xiyun’s hand, and sincerely expressed his gratitude: ”Mr. Song, and everyone else, what are you doing?”

His tone was full of kindness and gratitude, and his eyes were shining with sincerity.

”It’s so grand!” Lin Chenran exclaimed. He felt everyone’s respect and expectations for him.

”It makes me feel a little embarrassed.” He said with a smile, but he felt extremely warm in his heart.

All the senior executives of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal knew that Lin Chenran had extraordinary abilities, but he always maintained a low-key and pragmatic style.

”Director Lin, you’ve been on a business trip to Russia for so long and have worked hard to open up an international trading route for our factory. It’s only right for us to welcome you here,” said Song Xiyun.

Other senior executives of the 077 Machinery Arsenal also responded: ”Yes, this is what we should do.”

”Director Lin, thank you for your hard work!!!”

Seeing this, Lin Chenran bowed to everyone and expressed his gratitude.

”Thank you for your concern and support. Let’s work together to make the factory better and better!”

Immediately, all the senior executives of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory applauded and cheered.

……

Then Lin Chenran led everyone to the conference room.

In the spacious and bright conference room, there is a huge oval conference table surrounded by comfortable chairs.

After the senior executives of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory sat down, the meeting officially began.

”My journey to the Russian bear market was very smooth, and I will have more transactions in the future.”

Lin Chenran stood at one end of the conference table. His voice was clear and firm, revealing confidence and determination.

”At that time, we will select a senior executive present to go to the border between China and the Russian bear to trade.”

Lin Chenran’s eyes swept over everyone present, his eyes flashing with expectation and trust. Lin Chenran spoke directly to the point.

As for who to choose, Lin Chenran would of course have to discuss it with Song Xiyun.

There are various temptations in the transaction, so you must select a senior executive who is ”battle-hardened”, ”upright”, and most importantly, can drink a lot.

After all, the Russians are heavy drinkers. If you can’t convince the other party at the table, you may not be able to suppress him.

Before, Lin Chenran was drinking heavily in the Red Romance Tavern in Vladivostok, which attracted Kovlevich’s attention and led to the subsequent cooperation between the two parties.

……

Only after the cooperation between the two parties becomes stable will Lin Chenran consider arranging a senior executive to be responsible for specific matters.

In the early stages, the senior executive could only follow Lin Chen and learn how to handle transactions between the two parties.

”The second thing is that the province has agreed that the Second Textile Factory will be annexed by our 077 Machinery Military Factory and become a subsidiary of our factory.”

A smile appeared on Lin Chenran’s lips, and he took this opportunity to announce another great event.

Suddenly, thunderous applause broke out in the conference room and lasted for a long time.

The senior executives of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory did not expect that their factory director would act so quickly!
How long has it been since?
They actually made the Second Textile Factory a subsidiary factory of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

This is simply a miracle!
At the same time, they couldn’t help but begin to doubt the true identity of their factory director.

We can quickly get the Linjiang Provincial government to agree to merge the Second Textile Factory into the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

Such things cannot be accomplished so quickly without a strong background.

It was rumored in the factory before that Lin Chenran had an interesting background.

He is very familiar with the top leader of Linjiang Province, Mr. Liang.

And now it’s even more difficult!
Among the people present, only Song Xiyun knew Lin Chenran Dandan’s true identity!

”Mr. Song, when the time comes, please come with me to the Second Textile Factory to meet with Wu Changqing.”

Lin Chenran continued speaking.

”no problem!”

Song Xiyun responded indifferently.

At this time, he wanted to know what Wu Changqing thought after receiving the order from his superiors to merge the Second Textile Factory into the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

Wu Changqing must be feeling very complicated.

……

Immediately afterwards, Lin Chenran asked all senior executives to report on the situation at hand.

Song Xiyun reported the situation first.

”Director Lin, not long ago, some businessmen from Saudi Arabia in the Camel region came to discuss matters related to the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle.”

”They asked to meet you and discuss the follow-up.”

Song Xiyun’s words surprised Lin Chenran, who was sitting in the main seat.

Merchants from Saudi Arabia in the Camel Region?
Do you want to see me again?
Lin Chenran asked: ”Mr. Song, did they say what it was about?”

But Song Xiyun shook his head.

”In that case, please arrange a time for us to entertain the distinguished guests from the Sand Country in the Camel Region.”

With a piece of cloth on my head, I am the richest camel in the world!
Of course Lin Chenran wants to meet him.

And the other party must be received with high standards.

Afterwards, each senior executive also reported on the work at hand.

”Director Lin, the special steel we used has already been produced.”

Lin Chenran was surprised when he heard this: ”Is there a finished product?”
