Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 7 3 orders, no big deal!!!Chapter 7 Three million orders, no big deal!!!
After hearing this, Lin Chenran was so excited that he could not calm down.

His heart, which had been hanging in the air, finally slowly settled down.

Cooperation with the official is just a small ”snack”. What people really look forward to is the endless orders that come one after another, which are the most important ”main course”.

When people on the construction site returned one after another, a tense and fierce negotiation officially began.

It is well known that the current infrastructure construction task is extremely urgent, but the prices of engineering vehicles imported from abroad are ridiculously high, which has seriously affected the progress of various engineering projects.

The leaders of Linjiang Province, led by Mr. Liang and others, saw it all and were worried.

Now the Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle launched by the 59 Mechanical Military Factory perfectly meets their needs.

Not only is the price one-third cheaper than foreign imported products.

More importantly, it does not require the consumption of precious foreign exchange.

You have to know that foreign exchange was extremely valuable in that era.

It is not an easy task to use foreign exchange to purchase equipment imported from abroad.

It is necessary to report to the superiors and go through various levels of approval.

Now the Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle produced by the 59 Machinery Military Factory does not need to use foreign exchange.

This is great news for Linjiang Province.

In this way, the leaders of Linjiang Province can negotiate and purchase directly with the 077 Machinery Military Factory, saving a lot of cumbersome procedures.

There was no tense or intense scene at the meeting. Instead, the atmosphere was very harmonious with everyone talking and laughing.

Of course, when it comes to bargaining, the leaders of Linjiang Province will never show mercy.

After all, ”If you ask for a high price, you will pay the price.”

After some bargaining, the two parties finally reached a successful cooperation intention.

Linjiang Province immediately placed an order of three million to the 077 Machinery Military Factory.

At the same time, they also made a promise to Lin Chenran: as long as the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle performs well in subsequent work, they will continue to increase their purchasing efforts.

After the contract was signed, the staff of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal seemed to be ignited. They cheered excitedly, with uncontrollable joy on their faces.

They clapped their hands so hard that the applause was deafening.

”Alive!” someone shouted.

”077 Mechanical Arsenal is finally alive!” another person shouted.

At this moment, Lin Chenran was in sharp contrast to the others. His face was unusually calm.

Then Lin Chenran walked towards Mr. Liang and thanked him sincerely: ”Mr. Liang, thank you very much for saving our 077 Machinery Military Factory.”

However, Mr. Liang just smiled and waved his hand, responding: ”Your 077 Mechanical Military Factory saved itself with its own strength.”

”If the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle you designed and developed is not good enough, we will not consider purchasing it.”

”But we also want to thank the leaders of Linjiang Province for their recognition of our Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle.”

”Please rest assured that we will do our best to ensure the production speed of your order while ensuring the quality.”

Lin Chenran then joked, ”If there are any maintenance problems in the future, just give our 077 Machinery Military Factory a call and we will immediately send engineers to provide service on site.”

”No matter it is a storm, no matter it is day or night, as long as you have a need, the engineers of our 077 Mechanical Arsenal will rush to the scene as soon as possible.” Lin Chenran continued with a smile.

Hearing this, everyone in the conference room burst into laughter.

They had never experienced this kind of vvvip service.

In the past, when purchasing imported civilian engineering vehicles, if there was a problem, we contacted after-sales service, but they always dragged their feet. Not only was the problem solved slowly, but they also asked for high repair fees.

The comprehensive after-sales service provided by the 077 Machinery Military Factory now surprises the leaders of Linjiang Province.

In terms of attitude, the 077 Machinery Military Factory has far surpassed those foreign companies that import civilian engineering vehicles.

Threw them several blocks away.

Afterwards, Lin Chenran led the staff of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal and left the official agency in Linjiang Province with confidence, carrying the heavy order of three million.

Not long after, they arrived at the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

As soon as I stepped into the factory gate, a burst of cheers came like a tide, echoing throughout the entire factory area.

It turned out that the news of receiving the three million order had already spread throughout the factory.

When the workers learned that their Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle had received an order worth three million yuan from the Linjiang Provincial Government, they were overjoyed.

At this moment, all the repression and depression were released.

Everyone is under tremendous pressure these days.

Now we finally see the light of hope.

With this three million order, it means that the 077 Mechanical Arsenal has successfully overcome the current difficulties.

It also puts the employees at ease - their wages can be paid on time and their lives are guaranteed.

The most crucial thing is that the military production and manufacturing qualification certificate, which is related to the fate of the factory, will not be taken back by the superiors.

After returning to the 077 Mechanical Arsenal, Lin Chenran did not stop for a moment and immediately organized a high-level meeting.

When the senior leaders entered the conference room one by one, the meeting officially began.

”The Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle that we developed and manufactured has successfully received an order worth up to three million!” Lin Chenran had a smile on his face, but his tone of voice was unusually steady.

Although he looked calm, the barely perceptible smile on his lips inadvertently revealed his happy mood at the moment.

This good news is undoubtedly a powerful shot of stimulant for the entire factory.

Lin Chenran knew very well that the next work was equally critical and there must not be any negligence.

After receiving Lin Chenran’s affirmation, the senior executives of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory stood up and applauded.

Thunderous applause echoed throughout the conference room.

Three minutes later, Lin Chenran waved his hand, and the applause in the conference room disappeared instantly.

And a group of senior executives also sat down.

”Although we received an order of three million, it is just an appetizer. As the Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle produced by our 59 Machinery Military Factory is accepted by more consumers, the orders will exceed our imagination.”

Lin Chenran secretly reminded the senior executives of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory who were present.

This is just a small order. Once the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle becomes more famous, sales will see a qualitative leap.

”Correct!”

”That’s right!”

“It’s just a small order now.”

A group of senior executives from the 077 Mechanical Military Factory echoed in agreement.

Song Xiyun, who was standing by, expressed his concerns: ”Director Lin, we only have so many Type 59 tanks in our factory. After completing the order from Linjiang Province, there will be only a few left.”
