Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 4 Type 59 Civilian Engineering Vehicle Rolls Off the Assembly Line, Seeking BuyersChapter 4 Type 59 Civilian Engineering Vehicle Rolls Off the Assembly Line, Seeking Buyers

Everyone who came to the test site watched as two drivers respectively operated the modified Type 59 bulldozer and Type 59 excavator, galloping at lightning speed on the test site.

No matter how rugged or muddy the road is, it is a piece of cake for these two modified Type 59 engineering vehicles.

They are like two steel behemoths, easily crossing all kinds of harsh road conditions as if they were walking on flat ground.

The senior executives of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal who were watching on the sidelines had excitement and joy on their faces, and they cheered collectively.

The modified Type 59 engineering vehicle did not disappoint everyone.

Especially the modified Type 59 bulldozer, which is incredibly powerful.

It is equipped with a powerful V12 water-cooled engine, which continuously provides it with surging power.

Compared with foreign imported engineering bulldozers of the same level, this modified Type 59 civilian bulldozer is obviously superior.

”Director Lin, the design and development of our Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle has achieved huge success!” Song Xiyun was extremely excited.

He couldn’t believe his eyes. He didn’t expect that Lin Chenran actually completed this project.

The Type 59 tank is modified into a civilian Type 59 engineering vehicle.

”Ok!”

A satisfied smile appeared on Lin Chenran’s face, and he nodded slightly to show his approval.

“It was a success indeed!”

He couldn’t help but let out an exclamation of praise, his voice full of surprise and admiration.

The Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle designed, developed and produced by the 59 Mechanical Military Factory has demonstrated unimaginable powerful performance.

Not only did it exceed expectations in all technical indicators, it was even better than the Type 59 engineering vehicle made in another world.

This gave Lin Chenran a deeper understanding of the strength of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

He secretly exclaimed: ”It’s really amazing!”

Lin Chenran feels extremely proud of this achievement.

After all, the 077 Mechanical Military Factory has carried out various detailed fine-tuning based on the Type 59 tank.

In addition, it is worth mentioning the hydraulic system used by the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

This system is far ahead of other products in the same industry today both in terms of design concept and practical application.

It not only has excellent performance and high stability, but also can adapt to various complex and harsh working environments.

It can be said that the unique and efficient hydraulic system in the hands of the 077 Machinery Military Factory is at the forefront of the times and far ahead of its peers.

Now they also need to find a seller for their Type 59 civilian engineering vehicles.

After returning to the office from the test site, Lin Chenran and his colleague began to discuss how to promote their own Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle.

This is no longer the era where “good wine needs no bush”.

This is when you need to take the initiative.

Lin Chenran came to the office and poured Song Xiyun a cup of hot tea.

”Mr. Song, please sit down!”

Lin Chenran said calmly.

”Chenran, although our modified Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle is very successful, we don’t have any customers yet! We can’t sell it!”

Although Song Xiyun’s tone was very calm, he was still a little worried in his heart.

No matter how good a product is, it’s useless if it can’t be sold.

”Mr. Song, please rest assured! I have found a suitable place for sales.” Lin Chenran said confidently.

”Tomorrow I will personally lead several outstanding employees of the factory to drive the factory’s large truck, load two Type 59 civilian engineering vehicles and go out to expand business.”

Lin Chenran’s eyes were full of determination.

Seeing Lin Chenran so confident, Song Xiyun said nothing more.

If Lin Chenran can really successfully sell these products, it will definitely be a great thing for the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

This is also a good thing for Lin Chenran, as it can further consolidate his position as the director of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

If the sales target is not achieved in the end, Song Xiyun will try to use some personal connections to solve the problem.

The Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle modified by the 59 Machinery Military Factory is indeed quite outstanding.

Not only does its performance even surpass that of civilian engineering vehicles imported from abroad, its price is also much cheaper than that of civilian engineering vehicles imported from abroad.

The performance is excellent, and the price is very affordable.

Then what reason does Song Xiyun have not to promote it?
Now Lin Chenran is confident that he can successfully sell the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle modified by his own factory.

Of course, Song Xiyun chose to trust his own factory manager.

You can’t undermine the prestige of a young factory manager!
”I understand. I will pay more attention to the affairs of the factory.”

Song Xiyun responded in a firm tone.

Since Lin Chenran needs to go out to handle order business.

Song Xiyun will definitely take on the responsibility of managing the 077 Mechanical Military Factory to reduce Lin Chenran’s burden.

”Mr. Song, thank you so much. I feel much more at ease with you at the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.”

When Lin Chenran heard this, a brilliant smile broke out on his face.

In fact, the reason why he invited Song Xiyun to come for negotiations.

We hope that the other party can assist us in handling many matters concerning the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

Lin Chenran had just arrived at the 077 Mechanical Military Factory, and there were no senior executives or subordinates in the factory whom he could trust.

Now I can only rely on Song Xiyun.

Song Xiyun has a close relationship with his teacher, and he is also a highly respected elder in the 077 Mechanical Military Factory. With him around, he can suppress the evil spirits in the factory.

”Don’t be so polite, it’s just a piece of cake!”

Song Xiyun waved his hand casually, indicating that it was just a trivial matter and there was no need to worry about it.

His expression remained calm and composed at all times.

……

Then, early the next morning, as the sun shone on the earth, Lin Chenran led several employees from the 077 Mechanical Arsenal and drove two spacious trucks to embark on a sales journey.

The primary destination of this trip: local officials.

Now the whole country is at a critical juncture of reform and opening up. The tide of the times is rolling forward, and infrastructure construction is rapidly rising like mushrooms after rain.

In this upsurge, the official engineering team is facing huge demand pressure, especially the demand for civil engineering vehicles is more urgent.

Due to the limited level of domestic industrial technology, it is currently impossible to independently produce engineering vehicles that meet civilian needs.

However, the prices of such engineering vehicles imported from abroad are extremely high, which is prohibitive.

As a result, Lin Chenran, who has a unique vision, keenly captured this market gap and set his sights firmly on this field.

After a two-hour drive, Lin Chenran and his group finally arrived at their destination.

Because Lin Chenran had already made an appointment with the official staff in advance, when they just stepped into the official office area, someone came to greet them immediately.

”Director Lin, welcome!”

A young male secretary came up quickly with a warm smile on his face and took the initiative to greet Lin Chenran.

”Hello, Secretary Huang! The weather is so hot, there’s really no need for you to come out to greet me. I’m very familiar with this place and will have no problem finding Mr. Liang’s office.” Lin Chenran said jokingly with a slight smile on his face.

Secretary Huang is Mr. Liang’s secretary and is mainly responsible for handling Mr. Liang’s daily affairs.

He smiled and explained: ”You are our honored guest. The chief specifically told me to be here to welcome you.”

”this way please!”

Secretary Huang was leading the way for Lin Chenran in front!
