Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 10: Collaboration with the MilitaryChapter 10: Collaboration with the Military

Lin Chenran continued, ”I will make the biggest concession. Our 077 Mechanical Military Factory will take % and the military will take %.”

The modified Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle produced by the 59 Mechanical Military Factory only needs part of the chassis of the Type 59 tank.

The turret is not needed.

To put it simply, they want the power part of the Type 59, and the other weapon parts will be returned to the Yan State military.

After Lin Chenran’s “patient explanation”, Mr. Wei finally gave in.

If the 077 Mechanical Military Factory only needs the chassis of the Type 59 tank, then the %-% split is indeed a big bargain for the military.

If Mr. Wei still insists that the military accounts for four points, this may really force Lin Chenran to go to the Bear Country to pull back a bunch of cheap scrapped tanks.

After the cooperation between the two parties, Lin Chenran will not go to the Bear Country to pick up a bunch of tanks that are about to be scrapped?

Come on, how can you be so naive!

Yan Country has a vast market for civilian engineering vehicles, and the Type 59 tanks in the hands of the Yan Country’s military may not be able to meet the demand!

Not to mention, there is a much larger overseas civilian engineering vehicle market.

Lin Chenran: I’m going to the Bear Country for sure. Even Jesus can’t stop me. I said it.

”Four or six is four or six!”

Mr. Wei gritted his teeth and finally agreed.

”Mr. Wei, the second type of cooperation is this model. Our 077 Machinery Military Factory will need the support of the military in the future.”

After hearing Mr. Wei’s agreement, Lin Chenran’s heart finally settled down. He breathed a sigh of relief and immediately put forward his request while the iron was hot.

”Xiao Linzi, just say it! As long as the request is not too excessive, everything can be negotiated.” After hearing this, Old Wei already had an idea in his mind, but still let Lin Chenran state his request first.

”I need an import and export license.”

”Our Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle will not only dominate the domestic market, but I will also promote it to the international stage.”

“Xiao Linzi, hahahahaha…”

Old Wei laughed and said, ”You really have other intentions! I’m afraid you are not thinking about the exported Type 59 civilian engineering vehicles, but the tanks that are about to be scrapped in the Bear Country!”

Old Wei smiled slightly, as if he had seen through his inner thoughts.

Lin Chenran was a little embarrassed when he heard what Elder Wei said, but he quickly regained his composure and said with a smile: ”Elder Wei, you really have a keen eye. I have another idea. The economy of the Bear Country is in trouble now, and the living standards of the people in their country are not as good as before.”

”I want to take advantage of this opportunity to become a ’trader’ and buy their tanks that are about to be scrapped, and then resell them. This will not only bring us a considerable income for the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.” Lin Chenran became more and more excited as he spoke, with a confident light flashing in his eyes.

”If we can successfully export the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle overseas this time and bypass certain departments, the profit will be considerable,” Lin Chenran continued.

If the 077 Mechanical Military Factory is good, then it means that the Yan Country’s military is good.

By exporting Type 59 civilian engineering vehicles overseas, the Yan country’s military also gained some benefits.

At times like this, you must be honest and openly admit your own ideas in order to gain Mr. Wei’s support and understanding.

No matter how clever and clever she is in front of Mr. Wei, when she returns to the Lin family, Mr. Lin will definitely give Lin Chenran a sumptuous meal of ”love and care”.

What’s more important is that Mr. Wei and Mr. Lin are the closest comrades-in-arms.

”You are honest and have been working hard to gain benefits for the 077 Mechanical Military Factory. Regarding the import and export trade license you need, I will discuss it with other senior executives after I return and give you a reply later.”

Although Mr. Wei did not agree on the spot, based on his attitude, Lin Chenran was basically certain that he would agree to Lin Chenran’s request.

”In addition...” Before Lin Chenran could finish his words, he was interrupted by Elder Wei and heard Elder Wei say, ”You’d better not push your luck.”

Just as Elder Wei was about to hang up the phone, Lin Chenran hurriedly shouted, ”Hey! Elder Wei, please don’t hang up yet. What I’m going to say next will also be of great benefit to the military.”

”you say!”

Afterwards, Lin Chenran told Mr. Wei that his own 077 Mechanical Military Factory was going to recruit a group of retired tank soldiers to serve as after-sales maintenance engineers for the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicles.

”It is indeed good for our military. It can help us deal with a lot of retired tank soldiers.”

Upon hearing this, Mr. Wei showed a bright smile on his face.

Another good news.

Although the proportion of retired tank soldiers recruited by the 077 Mechanical Military Factory is relatively small, it can at least help the Yan State military solve the employment of some retired soldiers.

Another point is that even if these retired tank soldiers do not all stay in the 077 Mechanical Military Factory to work as after-sales maintenance engineers for the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicles, they can still find new ways out.

That is, after the training, I can start doing maintenance on my own!!!

As Yan’s economy develops more and more rapidly, the demand for automobiles and engineering vehicles is increasing.

Nowadays, being an automobile maintenance engineer also has a job that can support a family.

Afterwards, Lin Chenran and the other person discussed the matter of demobilized tank soldiers.

After discussing for more than ten minutes, Old Wei praised with deep emotion: ”The Lin family has produced another unicorn. I am a little envious of Old Man Lin.”

Then, without waiting for Lin Chenran to argue, he hung up the phone.

Very decisive and efficient!

So, after talking with Lin Chenran, Mr. Wei convened a military discussion meeting.

Discuss cooperation regarding the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle mentioned by Lin Chenran.

Take a look at which type of cooperation to choose.

The top military officials are also arguing over this issue.

The two modes of cooperation have their own advantages, but ultimately it depends on the sales volume of the Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle produced by the 59 Machinery Military Factory.

If, as Lin Chenran said, the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle will sell like hot cakes in China and will also be exported abroad, then choosing the second option will maximize the interests of the military.

As for Lin Chenran’s request for an import and export trade license, it was no problem for the Yan State military. It was a simple matter.

……

Just within a day, Mr. Wei called the director’s office of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory again.

The Yan State military agreed to Lin Chenran’s request and chose the second form of cooperation.

He also explained that the first batch of Type 59 tanks would arrive at the 077 Mechanical Arsenal within three days and asked Lin Chenran to prepare to receive them.

In order to ensure the safety of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory, the Yan State military specially stationed a company of troops around the factory.

”This……”

”That……”

Since I can’t resist, I can only enjoy it!
And this kind of thing is also beneficial to the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.
