Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 6: It's a mule or a horse, take it out for a walkChapter 6: Whether it’s a mule or a horse, take it out for a walk

This matter is beneficial to both the military and the government.

Mr. Liang was happy to do it.

”Mr. Liang, I am so grateful to you!”

”The decision you made will save more than a thousand employees of our 077 Mechanical Arsenal.”

Lin Chenran was so excited that he thanked him repeatedly and clasped his hands together to express his heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Liang.

”Hey, don’t thank me yet.”

”If the Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle modified by your 59 Mechanical Military Factory cannot meet our needs, then we will refuse to purchase it.” Mr. Liang said calmly, waving his hand.

So, Mr. Liang directly asked Lin Chenran to show his real ability to prove it.

Whether it’s a mule or a horse, take it out for a walk.

If the Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle produced by the 59 Mechanical Military Factory is really as powerful as Lin Chenran boasted.

Then the government will consider purchasing a batch of Type 59 civilian engineering vehicles to meet actual needs.

”Okay, I remember there are some areas under construction near the official institutions.”
Chen Ran asked in a calm tone.

”Yes, there happens to be a construction site nearby that is currently facing a shortage of civil engineering vehicles, and the progress of the project has come to a semi-stagnation.”

Mr. Liang said in the same calm tone.

“That’s an ideal place to test it.”

Lin Chenran replied thoughtfully,

Then Lin Chenran led everyone onto the truck and drove towards the construction site that was about to stop work.

It wasn’t long before the group arrived at their destination - the construction site that was about to stop work due to a lack of civilian engineering vehicles.

The construction site was deserted, with various construction materials piled up like mountains.

Official staff quickly contacted the person in charge of the construction site and began to discuss specific testing plans and related matters.

After some communication and exchanges, the two sides finally reached a consensus and decided to immediately start field testing of the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle.

Afterwards, Lin Chenran and others drove the truck slowly into the construction site.

Under the command of Lin Chenran, the staff of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory began to drive the Type 59 civilian bulldozer carefully designed and developed by their own factory off the truck in an orderly manner.

In order to fully demonstrate the excellent performance of the Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle designed and developed by the 59 Mechanical Military Factory.

Lin Chenran specifically asked Mr. Liang to arrange two imported civilian engineering vehicles to be compared with his own Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle.

When Mr. Liang heard Lin Chenran’s idea, he was also very surprised.

You can say foreign countries are bad, but you can’t say they are ”bad”.

You have to admit that foreign civilian engineering vehicles performed very well during this period.

However, China is still quite weak in related technologies, making it difficult to produce civilian engineering vehicles with extremely superior performance.

”Xiao Linzi, are you so confident about the Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle designed, developed and produced by your 59 Machinery Military Factory?”

Mr. Liang said slowly.

Lin Chenran’s face lit up with an extremely bright smile: ”Of course.”

”If I don’t have confidence in this carefully crafted Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle, how can I have the face to recommend it to you?”

Mr. Liang nodded slightly to show his agreement.

Practice is the only criterion for testing truth.

Whether it’s a mule or a horse, take it out for a walk.

”Next, please open your eyes and watch the wonderful performance of our 077 Machinery Military Factory’s Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle.” His eyes revealed determination and confidence. Under Lin Chenran’s instructions, the workers of the 077 Machinery Military Factory skillfully started the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle developed and produced by themselves.

As the roar of the engines sounded, the two steel behemoths began to roar and gallop across the huge construction site.

At the same time, two foreign imported civilian engineering vehicles on the other side started up, not to be outdone, but they soon found themselves completely outclassed.

The Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle of the 59 Mechanical Arsenal was like a wild horse that had broken free from its reins, far ahead of them with its astonishing speed and unparalleled momentum.

Whether it is a rugged mountain road, a muddy quagmire, or a steep slope, the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle can handle it easily and without any obstacles as if it were walking on flat ground.

Its powerful power and excellent performance are amazing.

In comparison, the two civilian engineering vehicles imported from abroad pale in comparison.

They have difficulty moving forward under various complex road conditions and are often stuck in difficult situations and unable to extricate themselves.

Faced with the outstanding performance of the Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle produced by the 59 Mechanical Military Factory, they are simply a group of clowns and there is no comparison at all.

”This……”

Mr. Liang’s face was filled with astonishment, and he was obviously frightened by the two Type 59 civilian engineering vehicles in front of him.

”Mr. Liang, you don’t have to be surprised. Our 077 Machinery Military Factory did not make any modifications to the power system of the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle.”

”It still has that powerful V12 water-cooled diesel engine.”

”The performance of this engine is quite strong, and its power is definitely much stronger than those civilian engineering vehicles imported from abroad.”

Lin Chenran explained calmly, but there was a hint of pride in his eyes.

The V12 water-cooled diesel engine is like a strong beating heart, continuously outputting extremely powerful power.

Indeed, compare the engine of a tank with that of a civilian engineering vehicle.

It’s simply a dimensionality reduction blow.

It’s totally bullying.

But what can be done?

Who made the 077 Mechanical Military Factory so arrogant?

They actually converted the Type 59 tank into a civilian engineering vehicle.

Since there is no need to carry a large number of artillery shells and extremely bulky tank turrets, the speed of the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle has been further improved.

Coupled with the V12 water-cooled engine, its thrust is stronger, which greatly improves the efficiency of bulldozing.

”This Type 59 civilian engineering excavator uses the latest hydraulic system independently developed by our 077 Machinery Military Factory.” Lin Chenran said proudly.

”It can provide more powerful power support for the Type 59 engineering excavator, and also has higher stability and reliability, which can ensure stable operation under various complex working conditions.”

”This hydraulic system is at the world’s leading level.”

A confident smile spread across his face.

The official representatives on the side nodded one after another, expressing their approval and appreciation.

Obviously they were very interested in the Type 077 civilian engineering vehicle displayed by the 59 Machinery Military Factory.

This Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle stands out for its affordable price, excellent performance and comprehensive after-sales service system, and is favored by many official agencies.

So, after appreciating the wonderful demonstration of the Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle, Mr. Liang made the decision without hesitation.

”Xiao Linzi, your Type 59 civilian engineering vehicle performs very well and meets our procurement requirements.”

”Let’s go back and discuss the follow-up cooperation matters!”
