Chapter 41: Using Money to Pave the Way and Build BridgesChapter 41: Using Money to Pave the Way and Build Bridges

Kovlevich then revealed his identity!
”I am the deputy chief of staff of the Far East Fleet of the Bear Country - Kovlevich Davari. I am very happy to meet you here.”

After Kovlevich stated his identity, he became very proud.

”Dawali, nice to meet you!”

Lin Chenran pretended to be very surprised.

In fact, he knew Kovlevich’s identity very early on, otherwise how could he meet him in this tavern!
A chance encounter?

No, no, no! This was actually all planned by Lin Chenran from the beginning.

Now everyone is honest about their identity.

The next step is to discuss cooperation.

Kovlevich asked directly, ”Lin, what collateral do you need?”

”As long as it doesn’t involve national security, I can help you solve it.”

Kovlevich was full of confidence, as if everything could be solved.

”Kovlevich, you also know that although our 077 Mechanical Military Factory retains the military production and manufacturing credentials, it has actually been transformed into a civilian engineering vehicle manufacturing plant.”

“It means we need a large number of chassis to support the development of our business.”

”In addition, we also need some special steel materials to meet production needs.”

”These things are very important to us, so I hope you can help me.”

Lin Chenran’s words made Kovlevich fall into deep thought.

He understood that what Lin Chenran asked for was not an easy task.

After a while, Lin Chenran spoke again, smiling and said, ”Kovlevich, I don’t want your advanced chassis technology, but I want to cooperate with you to deal with those scrapped and retired tanks.”

”As long as their power systems are still functioning properly, I am willing to exchange or mortgage them in various ways.”

”In this way, you can not only make a profit, but also solve some of the problems of dealing with waste materials.”

Kovlevich’s eyes lit up after hearing this, and he began to think about the feasibility of this proposal.

After all, a large number of tanks are scrapped and retired in the Bear Country every year, and if these waste resources can be used reasonably, they will bring huge economic benefits.

Lin Chenran continued to explain: ”In addition, the steel used on the retired ships of your Far East Fleet is also a superior special material.”

”We can recycle it and remelt it, and even if it can’t be restored to military quality, it will still be better quality than the civilian steel commonly found on the market.”

”This material has significantly helped improve the quality of our products.”

Kovlevich nodded, realizing that this collaboration could bring him rich rewards.

Of course, we understand that there are certain risks.

While the other party was thinking, Lin Chenran reminded: ”In order to ensure the smooth progress of the transaction, you need to smooth the relationship between the upper and lower levels.”

”This involves a lot of waste resources, which may cause unnecessary trouble if not properly arranged.”

”As long as you can sort out these issues, our cooperation will become smoother.”

Kovlevich expressed his understanding, saying he was well aware of the difficulties involved.

However, faced with such an attractive business opportunity, he was determined to do his best to win the support of his superiors.

“Use money to open the way!!!”

The power of money is infinite!
No one can resist the ”temptation” of money.

Maybe someone will say: I can resist the temptation of money!

That only means one thing, that he didn’t get enough money. If given enough money, I believe most people would bow down at the feet of money and become its slaves.

The Soviet Union’s top leaders are also very troubled by so many abandoned tanks and warships.

Because their numbers are too large.

Beyond everyone’s expectations!

The Russian bear needs to send troops to garrison.

We must also prevent some lawless people from using these abandoned weapons to threaten national security. Now Lin Chenran is willing to take over these scrapped and retired tanks and warships and transport them all back to Yan Country.

Not only can you get rid of these useless garbage, but you can also make a lot of profit.

Let’s meet and see!
As for whether Lin Chenran really intends to convert these abandoned tanks into civilian engineering vehicles?

Does this matter?

Of course it’s not important!
Even if the Yan country’s military wants to re-activate these scrapped and retired tanks and warships.

The top leaders of the Russian bear will only laugh even more happily.

After all, they have more advanced tanks that can easily crush any opponent.

If the Yan country’s military tries to fight the Russian bear with tanks that have been eliminated by the Russian bear, there will be only one result - being ruthlessly crushed by the Russian bear!
This is the same as the birthday man hanging himself (eating arsenic) - he is not willing to live long.

Reaching a deal with Lin Chenran is undoubtedly a win-win situation. It is not only beneficial to oneself, but also will not bring any negative impact.

Kovlevich was an impatient person. After finishing a bottle of vodka, he couldn’t wait to pull Lin Chenran away from the Red Romantic Tavern, and made it clear that Lin Chenran was only allowed to bring one person with him.

Since Kovlevich made such a request,
Lin Chenran naturally had no choice but to obey.

He already knew where Kovlevich would take him.

”Brother Yi, come with me!”

“Everyone else go back to the hotel first!”

Lin Chenran winked at He Yi, who immediately understood.

Subsequently,

Most of the people who followed Lin Chenran to the Bear Country left one after another, only he and He Yi followed closely behind Kovlevich.

Not long after, Kovlevich brought them to the camp of the Soviet Far East Fleet.

Enter the base of the Soviet Far East Fleet.

Along the way, soldiers of the Far Eastern Fleet saluted Kovlevich.

And Kovlevich saluted as well.

”Kovlevich, I really didn’t expect that I would get to know the top brass of the Russian army just after arriving in Russia.”

”That’s my luck.”

Lin Chenran praised repeatedly.

When the latter heard this, a bright smile appeared on his face.

Kovlevich had arranged for a helicopter.

”Lin, my friend, I’ll bear with you for a moment.”

Kovlevich apologized repeatedly.

After all, Lin Chenran is now Kovlevich’s VIP guest.

Lin Chenran looked at the Mi-26 helicopter in front of him, then waved his hand to indicate that everything was fine.

Kovlevich was able to arrange a Mi-26 helicopter to carry Lin Chenran and others to the place where the tanks were retired and scrapped.

”Kovlevich, my friend, you are very kind.”

”Use a Mi-26 helicopter to take us there.”

Lin Chenran showed an envious look.

Then Lin Chenran gave a general introduction to the Mi-26 helicopter.

The Mi-26 helicopter is the heaviest and largest helicopter in service in the world today.

The Mi-26 helicopter was designed and developed by the Russian Mil Experimental Design Bureau.

It made its first flight on December 1977, 12 and entered service in 14.

Kovlevich thought to himself: ”Sure enough...”
