Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

133: Chapter 133 Wang Zhuo advances to the fifth rank; the overall situation is of paramount importance.”General Wang, you haven’t advanced to Tier 5, have you?” General McCrae noticed something off about General Wang Zhuo’s aura and asked.

”I was fortunate enough to advance.” General Wang Zhuo laughed heartily. He was the first martial artist in the Dragon Kingdom to advance to Tier 5 and was capable of piloting the Dragon Kingdom’s latest technological Spirit Armor.

Now, he could challenge Tier 5, Rank 3 Spirit Beasts across levels; this was a conclusion reached after actual combat. His opponent, naturally, was the Earth Nether Flood Dragon, which had been serving as a training spirit beast these past few days.

Not everyone could have the experience of having the Earth Nether Flood Dragon as a test and training subject. General Wang Zhuo and the Earth Nether Flood Dragon were considered friends; after being offered some benefits, the Earth Nether Flood Dragon naturally agreed.

”Congratulations, General Wang.” General McCrae had finally heard the answer he did not want to hear. Although he deeply wished that General Wang Zhuo had not advanced to Tier 5, on the surface, he still put on a happy appearance and offered his congratulations.

The other Eagle Country officers were the same; even if they were unwilling in their hearts, they still had to go through the motions on the surface.

It seemed their chance to have the first Tier 5 powerhouse was gone.

Coupled with the Earth Nether Flood Dragon and a host of spirit beasts, cultivation techniques, Spirit Armor, pills, and so on, they had to admit that the Dragon Kingdom was truly formidable in this regard. In the future, the Dragon Kingdom would be their greatest competitor; only with competition and crisis could there be progress.

There were pros and cons, but generally speaking, they still did not want the Dragon Kingdom to develop so quickly.

”Right, there is no time to lose. Let’s head over there quickly,” General Wang Zhuo said.

Right now, the most important thing was the matter regarding the Eagle Emperor. If it weren’t for the fact that Eagle Country was still useful to him, General Wang Zhuo definitely wouldn’t have come. He even hoped that Eagle Country would decline and that it would be impossible for it to rise again.

However, considering the big picture, they had to come; even if they were unwilling, they had to.

”We still have to stay here to hold the fort, so we won’t go with you,” General McCrae shook his head slightly and then dispatched an officer to take General Wang Zhuo and his group to their destination.

”General Wang Zhuo, and friends from afar, please follow me.” The officer called for a helicopter, preparing to send General Wang Zhuo and his group to their destination.

”In that case, you carry on with your work; we will be on our way.” General Wang Zhuo nodded slightly. After saying goodbye to General McCrae and the others, he leaped onto the helicopter, as did the other Dragon Kingdom powerhouses.

Just like that, escorted by the helicopter, they headed toward the Amazon Rainforest, while General McCrae and the others watched the helicopter depart.

”I never imagined the Dragon Kingdom had already become this powerful,” General McCrae sighed, murmuring to himself.

The Dragon Kingdom’s utilization of Aura was indeed beyond their expectations.

At the same time, the situation within their territory had been resolved very well; it was now stable. There were many spirit beasts, and combined with the previous war against the Zerg, there were basically no marine fierce beasts causing trouble in the Dragon Kingdom’s waters. Part of the credit for this went to Bai Xuan.

After all, those fierce beasts could not figure out the relationship between Bai Xuan and the Dragon Kingdom; therefore, they dared not act rashly and tried their best not to step into the Dragon Kingdom’s borders.

”The last Zerg crisis not only failed to deal them a blow, but instead helped them reach a higher level. If we can also be on good terms with the Eagle Emperor, the future situation will be much easier,” Christine expressed his inner thoughts.

”Indeed, whether we can be on good terms depends on how the negotiations go, as well as the Eagle Emperor’s opinion of us. But come to think of it, we haven’t provoked the Eagle Emperor, so it shouldn’t be a big problem.” General McCrae nodded slightly, expressing his agreement with this statement.

Although he was very unwilling to rely on fierce beasts, this was reality; the Eagle Emperor had already grown to a point where they could not contend with it.

...

Amazon Rainforest.

Bai Xuan stood atop a towering tree, looking down at the situation below.

Fierce beasts ran rampant, the Zerg were rampant, and slaughter was happening every moment.

Originally, Bai Xuan had planned to go to Eagle Country’s territory first, but as he approached, he sensed a massive energy fluctuation in the Amazon Rainforest and was thus attracted over.

At the same time, with Bai Xuan’s arrival, he emitted that Beast Emperor pressure, scaring off fierce beasts for a hundred miles around. Some ran away immediately, while others hid in swamps or rivers. After escaping to a safe distance, they hid and watched every move of Bai Xuan with unblinking eyes.

They wanted to figure out why such a Beast Emperor had come here.

Meanwhile, a giant raptor with a wingspan of several hundred meters approached. It was at Tier 5, Rank 4, with formidable strength, and could be called the aerial overlord of this region. It spoke respectfully:

”I have long heard of the Eagle Emperor’s great name. I never imagined I would see you here; it is truly our honor.”

The Andean Condor was the largest raptor on Blue Star before the Aura resurgence. After evolving, it relied on its size and Flight advantage to obtain numerous resources, growing step by step and dodging countless hunts and crises.

This Tier 5 Beast Emperor was followed by a large group of flying raptors. Their attitude toward Bai Xuan was the same as the Andean Condor King—respectful and daring not to be negligent:

”Welcome, Eagle Emperor, to our domain.”

A flying fierce beast group of such great numbers and size, located in the sky, could be described as an existence that blocked out the sky and sun. Some hovered, while others stood on shorter Spirit Trees, watching Bai Xuan.

”You all are quite clever.” Bai Xuan replied indifferently, seeing that they did not run away upon his arrival but instead came up to curry favor.

Perhaps they thought that as fellow flying raptors, even if Bai Xuan did not accept them, he would not attack them for no reason. But if they knew what Bai Xuan had done in the African Savanna, they would definitely be scared out of their wits and run for their lives.

”You flatter us, Eagle Emperor. We came this time precisely to submit to the Eagle Emperor. We had long planned to submit to you, Eagle Emperor, but due to the threat of the Zerg, we could not free ourselves to find you, and thus we were delayed. We hope the Eagle Emperor will forgive us.”

The Andean Condor King stated the purpose of this trip. Submitting to a Beast Emperor was not an unacceptable thing; furthermore, as fellow large raptors, there was a greater sense of belonging.

Their group was composed of raptors of all sizes, and the Andean Condor King, by virtue of its own strength, had become the king of the group, which was a matter of course.

”You all know my rules, right?” Bai Xuan asked after a moment of contemplation.

”We all understand. We are willing to hand over 50% of our resources to you, Eagle Emperor. At the same time, we will unconditionally obey the Eagle Emperor’s orders, following them to the letter; even if it means going through mountains of blades and seas of fire, we will not hesitate.”

The Andean Condor King nodded heavily. Originally, they only needed to hand over 40% of their resources, but to show sincerity, and even more so to survive, they were willing to add another 10% for Bai Xuan.

Submitting to Bai Xuan, the other party would definitely help them deal with those powerful groups. By then, they would obtain more resources, so what was an extra 10%?

Not only would they not lose out, but they would actually gain more benefits and resources.

”You are quite sensible. Then go prepare the resources to be handed over.”

Bai Xuan smiled slightly. Since they were so sensible, and Bai Xuan needed fierce beasts to collect resources—after all, the next Aura Tide or invasion crisis was exactly when he needed subordinates—Bai Xuan accepted them as an affiliated group.

As for the African Savanna, Bai Xuan planned to have some fierce beasts from the Far East Region transplanted there to live and develop, waiting for the next Aura Tide.

And for the American continent, Bai Xuan would also transplant from the Far East Region, but because the area was too vast, and the number of fierce beasts was limited, he needed to accept more groups.

”Thank you, Eagle Emperor. We will get to it right away.” The Andean Condor King nodded hurriedly and dispatched its subordinate fierce beasts to prepare the resources to be handed over, while it remained behind to host the Eagle Emperor.

After the Andean Condor King finished instructing its subordinates, it came before Bai Xuan again and said fawningly:

”Eagle Emperor, did you come this time to solve the Zerg problem? If there is anything you need from us, just give the order; we will definitely go through fire and water, and will not hesitate.”

”That is only a part of it. By the way, do you have a name?”

Bai Xuan asked, as if he had thought of something.

”Yes, Leiming. That is this subordinate’s name. Eagle Emperor, you can just call me Xiao Lei,” the Andean Condor King replied.

Its own main attribute was lightning, followed by wind and water; it could summon wind and rain, and call down lightning and thunder. It was precisely because the attribute it awakened at the beginning was lightning that it named itself Leiming.

”Then, Xiao Lei, you should be able to feel that massive energy here, right?” Bai Xuan nodded slightly and went straight to the point, asking about the source of this energy.

”I am not very clear about this. I discovered this energy after advancing to Tier 4 and have been searching for its source, but I have found nothing. At the same time, the Zerg have also been searching for it and haven’t found it either; it is very mysterious and strange. By the way, this energy leaks out from time to time, and it is of great help to all living things within a thousand miles.”

Leiming told Bai Xuan everything it knew, without holding anything back.

”I see. Then you all go busy yourselves; I will go look for it myself.” Bai Xuan said after a moment of contemplation.

Even Bai Xuan himself could not find the exact location of this energy; he only knew it was within the Amazon Rainforest. He could not perceive what it was or where the entrance was located.

If all else failed, he would search the entire Amazon Rainforest; digging three feet deep would definitely work. No sooner said than done, Bai Xuan prepared to start searching from the vicinity.

Along the way, he casually dealt with some fierce beast groups, plundered resources, and devoured them to obtain evolution points, preparing for his future advancement to Tier 7. It was also to eliminate strong opponents for Leiming and the others, allowing them to better collect resources and develop their group’s influence.

”Eagle Emperor, do you really not need our help? We are willing to do anything for you.” Leiming confirmed again; after all, there was strength in numbers, and searching would be easier.

Although it was possible they wouldn’t be able to help much, having the right attitude was quite good; it showed loyalty and would make the Eagle Emperor more likely to accept and trust them.

”No need, go busy yourselves.” Bai Xuan shook his head slightly. A large number would only make things more chaotic; it was unnecessary. Furthermore, they had been here for so long without finding it, and searching now definitely wouldn’t yield results.

For Bai Xuan, it wouldn’t be of much use.
