Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

128: Chapter 128 Arriving Underground, the Beast King’s Essence Blood.Led by Dr. Wang, they took the elevator down to the third basement level.

The elevator was quite spacious, capable of holding over a hundred people.

Large-scale Ferocious Beasts and Spirit Beasts, however, were transported to the underground via mechanical platforms.

The elevator doors opened, and Dr. Wang and General Wang Zhuo stepped out first, followed closely by the Earth Nether Flood Dragon, while Bai Xuan stood on the Earth Nether Flood Dragon’s head in his shrunken form.

It could be considered riding a dragon once. The Earth Nether Flood Dragon didn’t mind; after all, even General Wang Zhuo could stand on its head, so why not Bai Xuan? However, it depended on the person; ordinary people wouldn’t be able to ride a dragon even if they wanted to.

“Your Excellency Eagle Emperor, your subordinates are in the treatment room ahead. Please follow me,” Dr. Wang said, continuing to lead the way.

By now, he was able to handle the situation calmly, unlike at the beginning when he was paralyzed with fear. At the same time, he remained cautious to ensure everything went smoothly and no accidents occurred.

Bai Xuan nodded slightly and then looked ahead. What met his eyes was a large number of injured; broken limbs were considered minor injuries here. Most were on the verge of death, their lives counting down, only holding on by a thread.

Some had already died and were being wheeled out of the underground treatment room.

“War is too cruel. If possible, the Dragon Country does not want war. We want peaceful development and mutual benefit,” General Wang Zhuo said with a sigh, the sentiment arising naturally as he witnessed the scene before him.

“I don’t want to argue too much with you right now, so don’t use loaded words to talk about your ridiculous ideas.”

Bai Xuan naturally understood General Wang Zhuo’s words; they were nothing more than a desire to end the war, temporarily live in peace with the Ferocious Beasts, and wait for an opportunity.

What General Wang Zhuo had just said was even more nonsensical. The memory of being hunted down was still fresh in his mind; how could he easily forget? Not taking action against them now was already the height of benevolence.

“Your Excellency Eagle Emperor, I didn’t mean it that way,” General Wang Zhuo gave a few awkward laughs to ease the tense atmosphere.

“If you really want to talk, then talk with sincerity instead of playing these little tricks,” Bai Xuan sneered, not giving him any face at all.

Things were different now. So what if they had nuclear weapons?

A Sixth-Order being was enough to intercept them all, and the idea of destroying the Blue Planet was even more absurd.

With the Blue Planet’s spiritual energy recovery and the evolution of all things, how could minor nuclear weapons possibly damage its foundations? At most, it would be uncomfortable for a while, and the Far East Region faced no threat whatsoever.

“I spoke out of turn; please forgive me.” General Wang Zhuo stopped making excuses. His words just now had indeed been intended to express the Dragon Country’s thoughts to Bai Xuan, but mostly they were a lament over the devastation brought by war.

Previously, they hadn’t taken Mutated Creatures seriously at all. Or rather, they were arrogant; animals could never stand above humans, and killing them was like stepping on ants or slaughtering chickens.

But now things were different. Mutated Creatures had long since evolved into Ferocious Beasts, and an existence at the Beast Emperor level like Bai Xuan had appeared. They had to take the Ferocious Beasts seriously, even to the point of currying favor.

“Well, let’s stop this topic here. We should go see the situation of our three Ferocious Beast friends,” the Earth Nether Flood Dragon broke the awkward situation, shifting the topic toward Huzi, Xiao Hei, and Xiong Yan.

“I am giving you a chance to talk to me. I hope you can grasp it and don’t force me to take action,” Bai Xuan snorted, feeling somewhat displeased with General Wang Zhuo.

If it weren’t for a lingering sense of sentiment, he would have attacked them long ago, just as he had attacked the Bear Country, and wouldn’t have given them a chance to negotiate.

“I understand. We will reach a consensus as soon as possible and then talk with Your Excellency Eagle Emperor,” General Wang Zhuo sighed helplessly. It seemed this fellow hadn’t forgotten the various past events and was still harboring a grudge.

However, the fact that he hadn’t directly attacked the Dragon Country was already quite good; they should be satisfied and not push their luck.

Dr. Wang didn’t dare to breathe loudly, leading the way with an anxious heart, fearing that if Bai Xuan became unhappy, he would attack them. That would be disastrous.

Finally, Dr. Wang arrived before a large door and opened it. What came into view were three dying Ferocious Beasts, still in a coma.

After all, they had faced the Heavenly Centipede Beast Emperor; being able to keep their lives was already very impressive.

They weren’t like the Earth Nether Flood Dragon, which possessed the power of the earth’s ley lines to convert into energy for all-around enhancement and could call upon the power of the mountains to protect itself when under attack.

“They show no signs of waking up yet. They may have to stay here for a very long time before they regain consciousness.”

Dr. Wang asked the attending doctors to leave temporarily and then informed Bai Xuan of the situation.

During this period, they had used countless pills, natural treasures, and exotic herbs to save the lives of the three Ferocious Beasts. The money spent was an astronomical figure, but for the sake of the big picture, it was all worth it.

This was also one of their ways to build a good relationship with Bai Xuan; they had to show it through words, money, and practical value.

“Please rest assured, Your Excellency Eagle Emperor, we will certainly do our utmost to treat your three subordinates,” General Wang Zhuo promised solemnly.

“They ended up in this state to save me. No matter what, even if I have to go through fire and water, I will find a way to heal them.”

The Earth Nether Flood Dragon said after a moment of silence.

Bai Xuan flapped his wings and flew toward Huzi, stopping by his mouth.

Since Bai Xuan had not enlarged his body, he looked like a small ant beside Huzi’s mouth.

Huzi’s mouth was slightly open, with a breathing tube as thick as a water pipe inserted into it. His tongue hung out, and he lay motionless on the ground with his eyes rolled back. His aura was very weak; his wounds had been stitched up, but internal injuries, the demon core, and other internal damage could not be treated for the time being.

General Wang Zhuo, the Earth Nether Flood Dragon, and Dr. Wang remained silent, none of them intending to disturb Bai Xuan. they thought Bai Xuan must be very sad right now and that letting him be alone for a while was for the best.

However, Bai Xuan’s eyes were calm as he pecked at his wing with his beak. A drop of golden blood flew out from the wound on his wing, and then the wound healed at a speed visible to the naked eye.

The golden blood, as if wrapped in a thin film, hovered roundly in front of Bai Xuan. This was a drop of Bai Xuan’s Essence Blood. Sixth-Order Beast Emperor Essence Blood was arguably the rarest thing on the Blue Planet right now; only Bai Xuan had it. The Heavenly Centipede Beast Emperor had it too, but it had all been burned away during the battle.

The Essence Blood contained massive energy, which could not only improve bloodlines and level strength but also heal injuries. It was more than enough to treat Huzi, Xiao Hei, and Xiong Yan.

Next, Bai Xuan divided the drop of Essence Blood into three parts and sent them into the mouths of Xiong Yan, Huzi, and Xiao Hei respectively, inputting spiritual energy to help their bodies absorb the Essence Blood.

Gradually, the breathing of Xiong Yan, Huzi, and Xiao Hei became steady. The flesh on Xiong Yan’s missing arm writhed like that of an octopus, crab, or salamander, and a new arm began to grow slowly.

He believed it wouldn’t be long before they were fully recovered.
