Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

113: Chapter 113 Facing a formidable enemy, annihilating the Zerg.”Lord of the Far East? That actually suits me quite well.”

Bai Xuan was quite satisfied with this title, as it fit his status perfectly; after all, it was indisputable that the Far East Region was under his jurisdiction.

Seeing Bai Xuan’s reaction, the Earth Nether Flood Dragon breathed a sigh of relief:

”I’m glad you like it.”

Compared to the Demonic Spider, Bai Xuan was much more difficult and troublesome to deal with. A single misstep could ignite a war, which would be catastrophic for both itself and the Dragon Kingdom.

”If you’re asking why I’m here, it was to hunt down that large bug, but now I have another matter I wish to attend to.”

Hearing this, the Earth Nether Flood Dragon immediately became vigilant: ”What kind of matter?”

It was terrified that Bai Xuan might act recklessly and launch an attack against them.

The Explosive Flame Iron-Eating Beast treated him like a formidable enemy, staring fixedly at Bai Xuan, assuming a combat stance, and preparing to respond to any sudden battle at any moment.

It was best to leave the negotiations to the Earth Nether Flood Dragon; given its own level and strength, it couldn’t interject, and its words carried no authority.

The other warriors and spirit beasts were the same, watching Bai Xuan with anxiety and preparing for battle at any moment.

As for the Demonic Spider, it was quietly sneaking backward. Since Bai Xuan was hunting the Insectoid Race, there was a high probability he would target them, so it would be best to find an opportunity to temporarily retreat.

It certainly didn’t want to end up like Bai Yun, dying a miserable death on the spot.

The other spiders were the same, quietly gathering behind the Demonic Spider, ready to flee at any moment.

”Naturally, it is to wipe out these Insectoid Race members.” After saying this, Bai Xuan unleashed a spirit skill. A cloud of ice mist appeared above the Demonic Spider, covering the entire sky.

Immediately following this, dense icicles fell like a torrential rain. Seeing this, the Demonic Spider exclaimed: ”Not good.”

It hurriedly unleashed a defensive skill, creating a spiderweb emitting wisps of black energy to shroud them, blocking the sudden icicle attack.

Before the Demonic Spider could react, a blinding light flared up, and a blast of Extreme Cold Breath struck towards them.

Blasting them into smithereens, Bai Xuan watched the scene and swallowed all the shredded meat, demon cores, and remains into his stomach.

...

”This...” The Earth Nether Flood Dragon was astonished. The group of Demonic Spiders that they had struggled to defeat with all their might had just been effortlessly wiped out by Bai Xuan?

Did that mean they had absolutely no ability to resist in Bai Xuan’s hands?

”Rest assured, I have no intention of killing you for now. However, if you really are tired of living, I can certainly fulfill that wish for you.”

Bai Xuan yawned; he was a bit tired after fighting for so long. After this incident, the Insectoid Race shouldn’t come looking for trouble for a while, and the Far East Region and Siberia Region could have some peace for a period, giving the fierce beasts more time to grow and collect resources.

”Thank you, Lord of the Far East.” The Earth Nether Flood Dragon thanked him, but did not lower its guard against Bai Xuan because of it.

”Thank you, Lord of the Far East.” The Iron-Eating Beast, along with the crowd of spirit beasts and Soldier units, expressed their gratitude to Bai Xuan.

Bai Xuan’s arrival had truly solved a major problem for them.

”Lord of the Far East, may I be so bold as to ask you a question?”

After a long silence, the Earth Nether Flood Dragon made up its mind and asked.

”Go ahead and ask.” Bai Xuan replied nonchalantly.

”What is your current view of the Dragon Kingdom? And what is your view of us... spirit beasts?”

Upon hearing the Earth Nether Flood Dragon’s words, the hearts of the warriors and spirit beasts leapt into their throats. It hadn’t been long since the standoff between the Dragon Kingdom border and the fierce beasts, and asking such a question now might not be appropriate.

Furthermore, spirit beasts and fierce beasts were essentially the same; it was just that fierce beasts were hostile toward humans, while spirit beasts were human companions. Such a sensitive question could easily provoke the Lord of the Far East.

They wanted to cry but had no tears; they hadn’t expected the Earth Nether Flood Dragon to ask such a sensitive question.

Dahuang watched Bai Xuan silently, waiting anxiously for his answer, wondering if he would ignore it or even become an enemy because of its identity.

It didn’t dare to reveal its relationship with Bai Xuan, as it could easily invite a fatal disaster... and Bai Xuan didn’t want it to say anything either.

To their surprise, Bai Xuan did not get angry. Instead, he said indifferently: ”That is a difficult question to answer. I do not harbor hostility toward spirit beasts, but if something threatens me, I will kill it without hesitation.”

Bai Xuan had naturally noticed Dahuang’s presence, but he didn’t show any unusual behavior, simply exchanging a glance with it.

Dahuang understood Bai Xuan’s meaning, and its previously anxious heart calmed down.

”I see. Thank you, Lord of the Far East, for answering my question.”

The Earth Nether Flood Dragon nodded slightly and expressed its thanks.

”I have other matters to attend to, so I won’t stay any longer. This way, you won’t have to keep trembling in fear.” After saying this, Bai Xuan flew away.

There were still things to do in the territory of Menggu Country; after all, there were still Insectoid Race demon beasts there that needed to be dealt with as soon as possible to avoid further casualties.

”That guy has finally left.” The Iron-Eating Beast finally let go of its suspended heart, looking like someone who had just survived a disaster.

It had practically been hovering between life and death just now. It never wanted to encounter something like this again; it would be great if the Dragon Kingdom could live in peace with the fierce beasts.

But it would not leave the Dragon Kingdom to join the camp of the fierce beasts. After all, even before the Aura Tide, it had always enjoyed excellent treatment. After the Aura Tide, its talent was discovered, and it received massive resources for training, causing its level to skyrocket.

Meanwhile, another giant panda came running toward them. It was Fu Fu, with Shi Xiaoyue riding on its back. They had learned that the Lord of the Far East had entered the territory of the Dragon Kingdom and had rushed over without stopping to provide support.

Other places did the same, mobilizing a portion of their troops to support the Earth Nether Flood Dragon.

”Where is the Lord of the Far East?” Shi Xiaoyue asked.

”He left. He didn’t attack us and even helped me deal with the Insectoid Race demon beasts.” The Explosive Flame Iron-Eating Beast sat down on the ground, taking a moment to rest.

It had been too exhausted lately. It had fought against the Insectoid Race for three days, and then encountered a terrifying existence like Bai Xuan; even its previous training had not been this tiring.

”Brother, are you alright?” Fu Fu asked with concern about the Explosive Flame Iron-Eating Beast’s condition; they were siblings.

At the same time, this Aura Tide had allowed Fu Fu’s level to reach Tier 4, Stage 9. It believed that it wouldn’t be long before it could advance to Tier 5, given the abundant resources; it was eating spirit stones like snacks.

”I’m fine, just a bit tired.” The Explosive Flame Iron-Eating Beast, named Yanyan, shook its head slightly and replied.

”You are badly hurt.” Fu Fu looked at the wounds on Yanyan’s body, feeling very worried.

Shi Xiaoyue went to ask the warriors about the situation. Learning that Bai Xuan hadn’t harmed them and had wiped out the Insectoid Race left her feeling confused for a moment. It was truly baffling; what could be the reason?

Could it be nuclear weapons? That was the only possibility.

But that could only delay the crisis for a while. Once the fierce beasts reached a higher level, nuclear weapons would no longer be able to threaten them.

Therefore, they had to grow as strong as possible with all their might.

The Earth Nether Flood Dragon remained silent, deep in thought.
