Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

112: Chapter 112 The Demonic Spider, the Guardian Beast of the Kingdom.”Look, what is that!”

Suddenly, someone exclaimed. Everyone followed the direction of his finger and saw something falling from the high sky toward the ground like a meteor, dragging a long tail.

The Zerg, humans, and spirit beasts all stopped fighting and looked toward the sky; they all sensed two terrifying auras approaching.

The Earth Nether Flood Dragon’s body was nearly a hundred meters long, covered in dense, oval-rhomboid scales. It had three claws on each of its four limbs, and a black obsidian horn on its forehead. It looked domineering and majestic, possessing the dignity of a Beast King.

Its emerald green vertical pupils constricted, revealing shock and surprise, and it muttered to itself, ”The Lord of the Far East?”

The Earth Nether Flood Dragon knew of the title of the Lord of the Far East; he was the first fierce beast in the world to advance to the fifth rank, and it was the second, following closely behind. Coupled with its ability to control the geothermal energy of the Demon Dragon Mountain Range, it was enough to reign supreme.

It had assumed that even if the Lord of the Far East, Bai Xuan, came here, it could hold its own in a fight, but now it seemed it had been arrogant; with this terrifying aura, it was simply no match for him!

”The Lord of the Far East, what is this guy doing here?” The Explosive Flame Iron-Eating Beast felt like it was facing a great enemy. The pressure of a fifth-rank fierce beast was enough to make him struggle to breathe, let alone the Lord of the Far East, who held the title of the strongest fierce beast. It seemed a tough battle was ahead.

Dahuang, flying in mid-air, saw this scene, and a flash of joy crossed his eyes as he secretly rejoiced, ”It’s Brother Bai.”

But his tail already betrayed his mood, wagging crazily and unable to stop.

The Zerg leader, the Zerg monster fighting against the Earth Nether Flood Dragon and other fierce beasts and humans, was a giant Demonic Spider. It was massive, about the size of a small hill, and its head was covered in dense eyes.

At this moment, it also looked toward the sky, stopping its fight with the Earth Nether Flood Dragon: ”Bai Yun? Why was it beaten so badly? And who exactly is that guy?”

It possessed a fifth-rank, seventh-stage level. Although it was much weaker compared to Bai Xue, Blood Fiend, and Blade, it was still not something the Dragon Country could easily handle.

This time it only brought over a thousand powerful spider monsters, but as long as it occupied this area, it could continuously reproduce offspring and strengthen its forces in the shortest possible time.

Even though there were only a thousand spiders, the lowest level was at the third rank, a quarter were at the fourth rank, and there was also a fifth-rank, third-stage monster commander.

Such a force, if placed in some weaker countries, would be enough to sweep through the entire nation. However, the Dragon Country had deep foundations, and with the fifth-rank Earth Nether Flood Dragon guarding it, it was still somewhat difficult for them to conquer the Dragon Country.

”Is that big white bug your monster?” the Earth Nether Flood Dragon asked, looking at the Demonic Spider in front of it.

This made sense; the only ones possessing such an aura were the Lord of the Far East and the Zerg.

”And so what if it is?” The Demonic Spider did not give it a pleasant look.

”Nothing, it just looks a bit pathetic.”

”To think that your Blue Star could produce such a powerful fierce beast; I underestimated you,” the Demonic Spider had to admit Bai Xuan’s strength.

At the same time, that figure crashed into the ground like a meteor. A loud boom followed, and the terrifying aura blew the surrounding spirit beasts and martial artists everywhere.

It smashed a small hill to pieces; dust flew, and trees and rocks were scattered everywhere, leaving the monsters, spirit beasts, and martial artists present in misery and unable to defend themselves.

”Bai Yun, are you okay?!” the Demonic Spider asked anxiously.

”Save me, save me.” Bai Yun’s weak voice came, followed immediately by a scream, sharp and piercing.

A moment later, Bai Yun’s voice stopped abruptly. The smoke was blown away by a gust of wind, and the situation inside was revealed to everyone.

They saw Bai Yun’s massive body being stepped on by Bai Xuan. It was covered in wounds, its entire head had been twisted off, and internal organs and pure white blood were flowing out continuously; it looked very miserable.

In everyone’s eyes, Bai Xuan swallowed Bai Yun’s massive body whole, as if it had vanished into thin air. Bai Xuan, however, showed no changes; his stomach did not burst open, and there was not the slightest change.

Before this, the Dragon Country’s martial artists and spirit beasts all knew that Bai Xuan could eat a lot, but they didn’t expect him to be able to eat to this extent; swallowing such a large bug and having absolutely nothing happen.

Even the Earth Nether Flood Dragon, a spirit beast skilled in devouring, felt inferior.

The Demonic Spider’s pupils constricted; that was a fifth-rank, ninth-stage fierce beast, and it was eaten so easily. It felt it was unbelievable: ”Aren’t you only at the fifth-rank, seventh-stage? How is it possible for you to possess such strength?”

Bai Yun was not an ordinary Zerg monster; the Demonic Spider had no ability to resist in its hands, and its poison was extremely formidable. Compared to it, the Demonic Spider was no different from a novice.

And now it was killed and eaten by the giant eagle in front of it. Logically speaking, the spiritual energy on Blue Star had only recently revived; the birth of a spirit beast like the Earth Nether Flood Dragon was already shocking enough, and a fierce beast of Bai Xuan’s level was absolutely impossible.

The Explosive Flame Iron-Eating Beast and the Earth Nether Flood Dragon looked at Bai Xuan vigilantly, as if facing a great enemy; the other spirit beasts and martial artists were the same.

Could it be that the Lord of the Far East was going to take action against their Dragon Country?

If that were really the case, it would be difficult to handle.

”Brother Bai, so strong.” There was no hostility in Dahuang’s eyes, and he couldn’t help but exclaim in his heart.

He knew a bit about Bai Xuan: he defeated the Bear Country, became the Lord of the Far East, held the title of the strongest fierce beast, and was the first fierce beast on Blue Star to advance to the fifth rank.

His power was immense, with countless subordinates; even if the Bear and Dragon countries joined forces, they could do nothing to him.

”You can really run,” Bai Xuan couldn’t help but complain. He had chased all the way into the territory of the Dragon Country, and now he had run into this kind of situation.

Bai Xuan looked at the Earth Nether Flood Dragon: ”Are you a spirit beast of the Dragon Country?”

”Indeed.” The Earth Nether Flood Dragon did not hide it; the Dragon Country had given it many resources, reaching a cooperation for mutual benefit and win-win results.

Now that the disaster had arrived, it was fulfilling its promise to stand together in times of adversity and would never keep itself out of harm’s way. The Zerg had also invited it to join their camp, but it had refused without hesitation; it was not the turn of these alien races to manage the affairs of Blue Star!

”Not bad strength. Your demeanor is quite domineering too.” Bai Xuan looked the Earth Nether Flood Dragon up and down; this was the first time Bai Xuan had seen a flood dragon, and it was quite novel.

”Thank you for the compliment. May I ask what is the purpose of the Lord of the Far East entering the territory of the Dragon Country?” the Earth Nether Flood Dragon asked, biting the bullet.

If Bai Xuan had no intention of harming the Dragon Country, they could talk things over properly; but if he harmed the Dragon Country, then they would have to go to war. It had principles: as long as the Dragon Country did not fail it, it would not fail the Dragon Country.

At the same time, it was also for its own interests. The situation was tense now, and if it went to war with the Dragon Country, it would definitely not be a wise move, as it would consume time for its own cultivation and growth.

And by cooperating with the Dragon Country, the Dragon Country would provide many resources and satisfy the Earth Nether Flood Dragon as much as possible. In this way, they could fight against enemies together—there is strength in numbers, after all—and it could also obtain a large amount of resources. The Dragon Country did not demand much of it; it only needed to step forward in times of crisis, which could be said to be a Protector Beast.

In this regard, why not?
