Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

102: Chapter 102 Devouring and Slaughtering, the Barn Owl ClanSuddenly, two ice spikes flew over, piercing the chests of two polar bears.

Their hearts shattered into dregs. The two polar bears looked down at the ice spikes in their chests, their eyes filled with disbelief. As the cold air invaded their bodies, they perished on the spot.

Bai Xuan appeared before these two polar bears and devoured them.

These two polar bears were of quite high level. Bai Xuan released his divine sense, covering a radius of a thousand miles, and found other scattered polar bears, as well as the Bear King.

”Another Tier 4 ferocious beast?” Bai Xuan was somewhat surprised. That Bear King had already entered the Tier 4 level, perhaps because of abundant resources.

If it weren’t for the Bear Country launching a war, Hu Zi and the others would have had more time to cultivate, and their levels would be at least at Tier 3, Stage 8 or 9 by now, not far from advancing to Tier 4.

Bai Xuan flapped his wings, ruthlessly slaughtering the scattered polar bears.

Finally, he arrived at the location of the Bear King; Bai Xuan’s efficiency was very high.

He only needed to deal with the Bear King, and the territory issue would be completely resolved.

”Who is it? How dare you intrude into my territory!” The Bear King walked out of a huge cave, letting out a roar that shook the sky.

The Bear King was pure white all over, with light blue Ice Attribute patterns on its body. It had a massive physique, with a body length of forty meters, like a small mountain.

As soon as the words fell, a dazzling light shone in the air. Extreme Cold Breath tore through the void, attacking the Bear King. The Bear King hurriedly protected its front with its hands, wanting to block this strike.

Ice walls condensed around its body, surrounding it tightly to increase its defense.

But it was all to no avail. The Extreme Cold Breath broke through the ice wall defense, piercing the Bear King’s arms, and then its chest and heart. The Bear King spoke in disbelief:

”Who exactly are you?!”

A moment later, it finally saw the ferocious beast attacking it. It was Bai Xuan, with a wingspan of a hundred meters, blotting out the sky and sun. The Bear King was stunned for a moment, and only now did it react: ”You are that giant eagle!”

But it was too late. Bai Xuan flashed past it, and the bear’s head fell to the ground. Scalding blood sprayed out like a fountain, and the Bear King perished on the spot.

[Devoured mutated Bear King, Tier 4, Stage 1, obtained 20000 evolution points.]

The polar bears in the northern region, without exception, were all killed and devoured by Bai Xuan.

After all, they had trespassed into his territory, and not only did they not surrender, but they also wantonly snatched resources, slaughtered ferocious beasts, and claimed mountains as kings. If an uncle could bear it, an aunt could not—how could Bai Xuan let them go?

If he let them go, how could he answer to his other ferocious beast subordinates?

...

After a period of time.

Bai Xuan found the Barn Owl clan. Xue Yu was overjoyed to see Bai Xuan arrive and hurriedly stepped forward to greet him: ”Subordinate Xue Yu greets the Beast King.”

Bai Xuan was now a veritable Beast King. Whether in terms of level, strength, or prestige, those ferocious beasts had all sincerely surrendered to Bai Xuan, looking to him for guidance and following his every command.

For a long time to come, the ferocious beasts would usher in a brand-new status and living space.

The other Barn Owl ferocious beasts were the same, respectfully calling out: ”Greetings, Beast King.”

Bai Xuan nodded slightly, standing on the snow. All around were towering trees, the treetops covered in snow. It was snowy and white. This place was colder than other regions, and there were quite a lot of resources, giving birth to all kinds of rare treasures. Only one-third of the spirit stone resources had been consumed, and the remaining two-thirds had not been found or consumed by the ferocious beasts.

Bai Xuan’s divine sense, naturally, could find them. Before coming here, Bai Xuan had collected the places with those few spirit stones. Coupled with the resources obtained from the Bear King’s cave, there were many rare treasures, strange spirit ores, spirit stones, and so on.

”During the time I was in seclusion, you have worked hard to resist the foreign enemies.”

Bai Xuan nodded slightly. He still valued the Barn Owl clan very much.

When the polar bear clan entered the northern region, they did not flee but kept resisting the foreign enemies, trying to drive them out. However, due to their unsatisfactory strength, they did not succeed.

But having this intention was already very good.

”It is not hard work; this is what we should do.” Xue Yu hurriedly shook its head. Seeing that Bai Xuan’s strength had reached a higher level, it was very happy. In this way, there would be the ability to deal with the polar bear clan.

But what it didn’t know was that the polar bear clan had already been slaughtered by Bai Xuan.

”By the way, those polar bears have already been killed by me. Also, the Frost Python clan in the distance has been subdued by me. I hope you can get along well in the future. Even if you can’t get along well, try not to have conflicts as much as possible. Finally, there are still many spirit stone resources in this region. You two major clans should search for spirit stones respectively and submit resources on time.”

Bai Xuan didn’t look down on those low-quality rare treasures and didn’t ask for them. Only by improving their overall strength could they exert the greatest use.

”Yes, subordinate obeys.” Xue Yu didn’t expect Bai Xuan to solve their biggest enemy so quickly. It was very happy about this and grinned from ear to ear.

As for the Frost Pythons, Xue Yu didn’t care. Instead, serving Bai Xuan together could reduce many conflicts, which was quite good.

The Barn Owl clan now had thousands of ferocious beasts. Among other ferocious beast clans with fast reproduction speeds, it was not fast; it could only be considered average. It was quite good, steadily growing the clan.

Now Bai Xuan had three main flying ferocious beast armies: birds of prey like Barn Owls and Golden Eagles, as well as the crows led by Xiao Hei, and other flying bird clans—both land and air creatures were gathered.

As for the ocean ferocious beasts, Bai Xuan could not control them yet. The ocean was so big and vast, and there was the deep sea, which was extremely difficult to control. If they wanted to leave, they would leave; they could even hide in the deep sea, and Bai Xuan really couldn’t do anything to them. Plus, Bai Xuan didn’t know what was in the deep sea, so he wouldn’t go there in the short term.

Afterward, Bai Xuan explained some things, allowing the Barn Owl clan to find resources faster.

”Alright, it’s about time, I should go back too. If there is anything, come to the central region to find me at any time.” Bai Xuan greeted them and prepared to leave, returning to the central region.

Stationed in the central region, observing everything from all directions, if anything happened, he could solve it at the first moment.

The Far East Region had now become a restricted area for humans, and Bai Xuan had become the Lord of the Far East, ruling the Far East Region, with countless ferocious beasts under his command, fierce and incomparable.

”Farewell, Beast King.” Xue Yu and the other Barn Owls lowered their heads one after another, respectfully sending Bai Xuan off.

Xue Yu felt that the choice to join Bai Xuan before was incredibly worthwhile, and it was also glad that it had foresight. Now the development of the Barn Owl clan could be described as very stable, and resources would never be lacking. If the polar bear clan had been the first to surrender to Bai Xuan, then it was very likely that they would have been the ones to die!

...

Three days later.

Hu Da and Xiao Hei delivered the resources to the central region.

After Bai Xuan finished distributing the resources, the Savage Bears sent them to their respective clans.

”Brother Hei, how is the situation over there with Hu Zi and you?” Bai Xuan asked.

”Resources and food are sufficient, and the ferocious beast clans are growing in an orderly manner. I believe it won’t be long before ferocious beasts can spread throughout the entire western region.”

Xiao Hei told Bai Xuan about the situation in the west without reservation.

With the expansion of the territory, the number of ferocious beasts must also keep up. Whether predators, prey, plants, or various creatures, all must be improved to reach a state of balance, and then the clan can be strengthened.

And those prey, if they want to change the status quo, must become stronger. Perhaps they will be favored by Bai Xuan in the future and taken as subordinates, then they will not be hunted.

Bai Xuan was not a heartless beast. As long as they could defeat carnivorous ferocious beasts and gain Bai Xuan’s approval, they could become subordinates. Regardless of who killed whom, it followed biological competition, but this was limited to the areas ruled by Bai Xuan. For others who trespassed and wantonly slaughtered and snatched, Bai Xuan would naturally not easily forgive them.

”That’s good. Next, I am going to seclude myself to stabilize my cultivation. Unless it’s a major matter, you handle it yourself. If you really can’t solve it, come find me. Hu Da, the same goes for you. Just notify Xiong Yan; don’t come to find me unless there is something.”

Bai Xuan nodded slightly and then gave instructions. Now there were many resources: 50,000 from Bear Country, 30,000 from Dragon Country. After distributing 30,000, 50,000 remained.

Added to various other resources, as well as the evolution points obtained from killing ferocious beasts and humans previously, it was enough for Bai Xuan to advance two stages or even more.

At the same time, having experienced the last incident, the Bear and Dragon countries should not dare to mess with Bai Xuan again, so it was still very safe.

”Okay, you can rest assured and go into seclusion. Just leave the territory to us.”

Xiao Hei was happy for Bai Xuan about this. After all, being able to develop to this step was all thanks to Bai Xuan, and it was precisely because Bai Xuan was stationed in the territory that they could usher in a situation of step-by-step promotion and prosperity.

The ferocious beasts would not have to fight with humans all year round, avoiding slaughter and developing steadily.

Speaking of this, Xiao Hei couldn’t help but think of the situation when it first met Bai Xuan. It never thought that Bai Xuan could lead them to this step. If there were no Bai Xuan, perhaps it, Hu Zi, Hu Da, and Mother Tiger would have died in that forest long ago.

For this, Xiao Hei felt incredibly lucky. Fortunately, they gave help to Bai Xuan during his fledgling eagle period, which led to today’s achievements.

”With these words from you, I can rest easy.” Bai Xuan smiled.

”By the way, Brother Bai, I have something I want to ask you.” Hu Da asked.

”What is it?” Bai Xuan replied.

Hu Da asked about the curiosity in his heart: ”Brother Bai, you wouldn’t be a Tier 5 ferocious beast now, would you?”

After all, he had seen and heard of Bai Xuan’s battle records. It was impossible for a Tier 4 to make a big country cry for their parents. Then there was only one possibility: Tier 5.

”You guessed right, I have indeed advanced to Tier 5.” Bai Xuan did not deny it. Now that it was something that anyone with a discerning eye could see, there was no need to hide it.

”No wonder you are so powerful.” Hu Da and Xiao Hei had expected it long ago and were not overly shocked, or rather, they were already accustomed to it. Bai Xuan advancing to Tier 5 now was not such an unbelievable thing.

After that, they chatted for a while. Xiao Hei and Hu Da said goodbye to each other, left the central region, and headed toward their own territory. There would be plenty for them to be busy with for a long time to come.

And Bai Xuan would naturally not care about these trivial matters. He let Xiong Yan, Hu Zi, Hu Da, Mother Tiger, Xiao Hei, Xue Yu, Rat King, Deer King, Golden Eagle King, and Xiong Lei manage them.

The distribution was even, and Bai Xuan kept his word and never treated them unfairly, giving them more territory to develop clan forces, as well as status and power.

...

Central region, peak of the snow mountain.

Relying on his Tier 5 level strength, Bai Xuan used spiritual energy to gather all the snow mountain soil and stones that had been blown to pieces before to the central position. The cold air seeped into the sand and stones, achieving a fixing effect, and he forcibly built a snow mountain.

The vast central region had only this one snow mountain. The surrounding area was an endless snowfield, the cold wind biting, silent. This situation should last for a long time.

On the peak of the snow mountain, a light blue seedling was growing. It was the previous Ice Spirit Flower spiritual plant. Fortunately, Bai Xuan saved some spiritual plant vine roots, which came in handy now. Just in case, Bai Xuan also planted some on the mountainside and at the foot of the mountain.

The cave entrance had a thick layer of ice, light blue and blurry, making it impossible to see the situation inside, while Bai Xuan was in seclusion inside.

...

Half a month later.

[evolution points]: {110,000 / 6,000,000}

After Bai Xuan absorbed the spirit stones, his level logically broke through to Tier 5, Stage 2.

Then he consumed 9 million evolution points, rising two stages in a row, reaching Tier 5, Stage 4.

The next breakthrough required 6 million evolution points. The submitted resources could no longer satisfy Bai Xuan. Perhaps only by going to the ocean or other major continents could he obtain a large number of evolution points.

Bai Xuan restrained his aura, ended his seclusion state, slowly opened his eyes, and yawned: ”This seclusion only took half a month.”

Bai Xuan’s speed of devouring spirit stones was very fast now, and coupled with breaking through his cultivation, it took less than half a month. Then the speed of devouring would become faster and faster, but the quality of resources also had to keep up, otherwise, he wouldn’t know when he would finish devouring them.

This breakthrough did not change his physique or appearance, but his strength was at a higher level, much stronger.

Bai Xuan dispersed the ice layer at the cave entrance and overlooked the territory below:

”Time has passed so quickly without knowing it.”

It had been almost a year and a half, from a fledgling eagle to an overlord of one side.

Bai Xuan’s evolution speed was very fast. At least until now, no ferocious beast or human powerhouse stronger than Bai Xuan had appeared.
