ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

It’s no use, at this rate this conversation is going nowhere.

This place itself has now officially become a natural enemy to the concept of seriousness. In the first place, the group of idiots right here became even more stupid with the arrival of the Little Girl Sensei, because right now all kinds of perverts and degenerates would start to naturally flock towards her. And that is without even mentioning Ruthia’s Dress-Up Corps.

What’s more, even myself, Little Girl Sensei’s student, was unable to force her into a serious conversation right now, so I guess that nothing serious is going to take place right here and right now. I just hope that this won’t make Wimp’s first impression of her to become a poor one. But for the time being she was silent and not saying anything. And it also helps that no one in here wants to pick a serious fight, even without the Little Girl Sensei making an appearance. But even if the people around here wanted to pick up a fight, I am certain that Sensei would be the one who would be able to make a quick work out of everyone around here without much of a problem. That is, as long as she would want to get serious about things.

「Now then…… I will have to log out soon, so let me ask a quick question before doing just that. You two snakes there!」

「Tsk.」

「W-What?」

One Gordinine who looks gloomy as hell, and another Gordinine, who looks so tense that she could break at any moment now. They both look at me instantly when I spoke those words. Anxiety, suspicion, hostility, those feelings were well reflected in their faces right now…… Well, I can’t really blame them for being vigilant in the enemy territory.

「We need to decide about whether you are going to be hostile towards us, or whether you are going to cooperate with us. As things stand right now, we are no match for those Naga-like snakes of Goldunine all on our own. …… But no matter if we live or die in that battle with her, we are going to fight. But if we are to be back-stabbed by one of you, then I would much rather want you to be open about it.」

Yes, I don’t want any Bakumatsu Online taking place in this game. It’s better to know if someone wants to openly get you rather than getting stabbed in the back by them…… I mean, not like I couldn’t distribute the Divine Punishment on their asses later on, but from a third party perspective, back-stabbing is really a garbage-like behavior. But it can also be pretty funny once that you get used to it……

「So I want you to make a decision right here. Will you be hostile to me? Or will you join hands with Wimp and I in our goal…… You have fifteen seconds to decide that.」

「So short!」

Looking back from the future upon this very moment, you are surely to remember it as a major turning point in your life, Coffee Milk-chan.

Now then, hurry up, hurry it up! You have only fifteen seconds to reach a decision here! That is the average time in which Little Girl Sensei should be able to clean up her plate. Theoretically, if you are using Transcendental Speed here, you can eat forever with Hunger meter developing at tremendous speed, which will then allow you to eat even faster. It’s an endless loop like that. But they don’t need to know that.

「Umm, umm…… What do you wish to do here, Nine-chan?」

「What I want to do, you cannot just ask me that straight away and…… Ahh, I know! I figured it out! I want to fight alongside you! That would be fine with you, right, Ogasei?」

It would seem that this particular Goldunine received the moniker of Nine—chan? It’s a good name, at least it’s much better name than Wimp. Seriously now.

“Now then. Time is a cruel mistress, it moves forth without waiting for no one. Fifteen seconds have already passed. It’s time to make a decision.」

「…………」

「My Lady……」

My Lady, huh? It seems that those two have a sort of a perverted relationship…… Or maybe not? Maybe it’s just how they prefer to do things? I mean, to each their own, right? But would a relationship like that be allowed in a game such as this? Master-Slave relationship? Elementary School kids are playing this game as well, you know!?

Just as my evaluation of Shuu-san started to stray in a weird direction, the Goldunine who was called a Lady glared at me and Wimp with a really confused look on her face.

「How can I know that you are not going to betray us later on?」

「Hoo, so you are going there, huh? Well, you cannot know that.」

「Huh!?」

「Don’t misunderstand now, Missy. What I’m asking you is to not form a bond of trust. I want us to be companions in this.」

I don’t want a two-way bond here. If you’re not good at this kind of thing, we could kill each other off until only one of us would be left standing, regardless of the fact if the remaining ones would be able to defeat Goldunine or not. What I want is confirmation that we are not going to be hostile to one another. So that we don’t stab one another to the back the moment it would just work best for us.

「That original Goldunine is a mighty powerful person. It’s something that no Player has ever encounter before. And it is something we cannot hope to possibly defeat on our own.」

「San-Sanraku, -san! Umm, what are you talking about!? What is that Goldunine?」

「Hmm, let’s see, how should I put this…… You do know about Shinkansen lines, right?」

「Of course I know! It’s only common sense!」

「Think of her as a boss character who has four giant snakes that accompany her, each bigger and longer than shinkansen. Oh, and they all really hate humans for some reason.」

I have no fondness of non-human races, but I also do not hate them with a passion. That is why if need be, I can get along and talk with creatures such as Wimp or Nine just fine. But those guys…… Even if they can understand us and would be given the option to be friends, they would twist it around and use that as a fuel for their own hate. That’s the kind of creatures they all are.

「So that’s why I want you to cooperate with us…… No, even if you don’t want to cooperate, at least make sure that you won’t be hostile to us and you won’t get in our way.」

「Hmm…… did you know about all of this, Nine-chan?」

「Well, of course I knew. We all did. …… And that’s why we ran away.」
