ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

「I was expecting it to be a camp versus camp wargame, but this seems to be a bit more of a headache than we would have thought.」

The rules of the event are as follows:

・ The conditions for winning or losing this time is how many cities are secured within the designated time period. If the targets of both camps are alive, or at the end of the designated period, the general of one of the camps is dead…… It will determine which king is going to rule; the new king Alex or the old king Torvante.

-The new royal camp will win if at the end of the event period both the former king Torvante and the princess Afilia are either captured or killed.

-The former royal camp will win if at the end of the event period Princess Afilia is alive with the new king Alex either captured or killed, or with the new king and the former king found dead.

-There will be a lord” in each major city except the two cities where both headquarters are located, and the cities of the other camps can be secured as the other camp’s own ally, by either capturing the city itself or killing its current leader.

・ Fifthsia, Firstea, and Secandil are neutral cities and will be irrelevant to the event. Combat actions are going to be prohibited in those cities for the duration of the event. event.

– During the event period, even if you kill another Player, you will not become tagged with a red name, but only if you do so in the designated “Event Judgment” area. Also, even if the player is killed, the equipped items and the items in their inventory will not be lost.

However, items that are out of hand at the time of death will be left in place where they fell. In addition, any changes in parameters due to combat behavior work as normal.

-If killed, the dead player will automatically respawn in the main city of their respective faction (either Thirdrema or Thirted).

In addition, a “Restart Penalty” is going to be given according to the position of the killed player.

-During the event period, bosses in the areas of both headquarter cities are going to be inactive.

– During the event period, there will be NPCs that have a strong influence on the other NPCs of each camp, and by being either captured or killed, the “morale” parameter of the opposing camp can be greatly reduced.

-The World Quest will not progress further during the event period, and the events related to the World Quest will be suspended until the “Kingdom Mayhem” even period comes to an end.

This is a certain conversation between a certain duo.

「……… Now this right here is something else, if I do say so myself.」

「Reisei, I don’t feel like guessing exactly what you have meant by that. Explain that to me in as few sentences as possible.」

「Hmm, let’s see, it would be something alongside the lines of…… “Full time fighting are pretty much mandatory”. It would be impossible to put a whole army of players in one place at any given time”. “It will be increasingly harder for the opposing sides of the conflict to guess that the exact tactics of the other side are”. That’s about it.」

「Even though you went through the trouble of abbreviating it for me, I still don’t get what you were trying to say here.」

A certain forum where a group of FPS lovers gather.

「Oh, the big Brain of our Mercenary Corps! I want to hear your opinion!! Grant us your wise words full of wisdom!」

「Sure thing, just leave it to me. Basically, isn’t that a wet dream if every PVP out there?」

「For everyone out there? Isn’t that a little bit, you know…… general?」

「Okay, so now in all seriousness. First of all, this victory condition: the new king camp should play a camp game rather than going out of their wat to kill the former king. Unless they want some unforeseen circumstances to bite them in the ass.」

「Huh? And why is that?」

「Because the victory or defeat is decided at the end of the event period. Even if the former king is killed, it will be brought to the judgment game if the Princess is still alive, and if the camp over there defeats this new king, the princess will automatically live. It will be a win over there in that scenario, so they would have to play defensively all the time to prevent their own defeat due to some careless mistakes.」

「Oh, so in other words…… Is it possible to win by the final judgement if everyone aims for the new king when the former king is taken prisoner?」

「Don’t you think that this way of thinking is way too sly for your own good?」

「That’s why this is way more advantageous to just play the waiting game. There are many cities that have quality NPCs in them right from the get go, and the quality NPCs also need to be protected since they will be high priority targets.」

「So above all else ───」

「It’s only an event for players that want to kill others while at the same time don’t want to become red names. We also have no idea how does that compare to the killing of NPCs, so maybe it also lets you murder them, or maybe not. You never truly know.」

The advantage of having an extra remaining trump card called the Princess, and the disadvantage of being handicapped in a waiting game. And above all else, an exquisitely long event period of five days that lasts from December 15th to December 20th.

Aside from being just a solo player, there are too many challenges for players who will need to form larger group, formulate strategies and coordinate their actions.

Pencilgton immediately scratches some of the operations that were already formulated inside of her mind and immediately begins to devise the new ones to replace the scratched ones.

「There is no need to move as a single army over there whatsoever. If you treat those who do not obey as monsters there, you can work on a battalion to platoon scale with each individual streamer in mind. No, I wonder what happened…… No, I need to convince my battalion gunball somehow to join in on the fun soon……」

The day of the decisive battle is drawing near. Feeling the breeze of the upcoming turmoil, Pencilgton enjoys the scent of Thirdrema’s specialty tea leaves, making full use of her privileges as a Special Advisor to Thirdrema for the moment.
