ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

Now, let’s talk about the approximate types of party members for a little bit.

Needless to say, I am a high-speed mobile light warrior who completely abandoned the unknown parameters (self-named) such as Vitality. Even if I no longer have my Critical Speed on me, I can jump up to about fifty meters in the air just by the sheer momentum of the jump alone.

Next, we have Ladder-san. Because she has wings due to her racial characteristic, she has an additional modifier when it comes to jumping and all acrobatic actions performed in mid-air. There is no acceleration, but if you have a foothold, you will be able to jump without touching the ground except for the minimum number of times, which would allow you to traverse vast distances over a short period of time.

But that being said, here is where the problems start to pop up.

Although her avatar might look fragile and delicate, Rei-san is rather dull and heavy when it comes to status alone, or at the very least she can forget about being able to make long distance jumps even if it was to save her own life.

Then there is Imron the Blacksmith. She might have accumulated quite a few level under her avatar’s belt, but the fact remains that she is mostly a production player rather than a frontline warrior. So even though she can still run quite a lot like Rei-san and not get tired all that easily, when it comes to athletics and overall mobility she was leaving much to be desired. I guess that you have got to love the Power-type players, huh?

And then we have our Healer, Natsu-san. She is a Pure Healer-build with all that a build like that entails: she is good at casting spells and healing her allies, as well as evading the aggro of the monsters. But that’s about it. Besides that, she has very little going on in terms of mobility, if not no mobility at all. So forget about jumping around and all that other useful stuff.

Why do I bring that up now? It’s about how we are going to cross the huge canal that lies on the route to the volcano. After passing through the swamp where the settlements of the Lizards and Dragons (apparently Black) was located, we have arrived here, at our current location.

「Good thing that we have people who can safely cross to the other side. But then the question is; what about others?」

Well, as you might have expected, just me and Ladder—san are able to safely cross on the other side.

It seems that there is no choice but to put my secret weapon to use here…… INVENTORY, open! Come on! Super Intelligence Conquest Doll Unit Sigma!

「Intelligence!」

「Why proclaim is like that right from the get go?」

「Sometimes I feel that if I do not verbalize it like that, I might actually get crushed under the weight of my own Intelligence.」

There is no mass when it comes to the concept of the intellect, you know? Or is there? The weight of brain is one thing, but intelligence itself? That would be news to me.

「Uwah, it’s her! It’s Sigma-chan!」

All of a sudden, Natsu-san’s voice switched to the highest pitch that I have ever heard, that’s how excited she’s gotten after seeing Sigma making her appearance. As for Sigma herself…… I can see that not even the “N” Patch was able to cure some of those pesky peculiarities of hers.

「Hey, can I take a screenshot of you!? I can, right!? Oh hell, why bother with a screenshot!? Video! Can I take a video of you!? If possible!? Please!? Pretty please!?」

「Dude, what’s gotten into you all of a sudden?」

「Because! I’m her greatest fan! The greatest that could possibly be out there!」

No, seriously now…… “because” might be an explanation suitable for small children, but not for responsible members of society!

「No, no, no! Don’t you even realize!? Right about now, Sigma-chan is the most famous character in the entire world of ShangriLa Frontier! Yes, that’s right! None other than you, Sigma-chan! Not a Player, but an NPC! So it’s perfectly normal to react like that when you are meeting your idol for the very first time! Perfectly normal, I’m telling you!」

Ah…… I was wonder if something like that was going to happen, and lo and behold! It did actually end up happening. But it doesn’t matter for the time being.

「Hey, Sigma? Think you could transport those people across this canal right here……?」

「Roger that. Additionally, if I were to store my armaments away, I can even transport two people at the same time.」

「Tell you what? Do three turns of crossing over. If this here Natsu-san is such a great fan of yours, why not let her experience the full course while we are being at it?」

「Huh?」

「Hmm, I see. So, we are going to let someone experience my Super Intelligence, is that it?」

「Huh?」

And just like that, a few minutes later, apart from Rei-san and Imron who slowly crossed the river with Sigma, the screams of Natsu-san, who had a draining hell of an experience with one of Sigma’s weapons in the form of the Super Express version of the Jet Booster echoed far and wide.

Well, that being said…… When you get close to the surface of the water, you could very well see the Cannibal Piranhas (some of them as large as a small dog in size) jumping out of the water, so you’d better try to not scream so much out there, Natsu-san! Otherwise some of those things might actually go and take a bite out of you! But then again, I’m sure that now when she was able to have a thrilling experience thanks to Sigma’s efforts, she should be more than thoroughly satisfied.

So for the time being, I’ll try to beat maybe one of those pesky piranhas, and if I use myself as a lure here, I don’t even need a fishing rod! Ain’t that convenient!

Arthur Pencilgon was not completely unaware of all the events that were currently transpiring in the world of ShangriLa Frontier, but for the current moment she was facing something other, but at the same even more out of the ordinary than the things she would usually be dealing with.

Also, she was sure that while she was dealing with her own circumstances, the other people from the other camps were doing the same thing, seeing the same things but from the different perspectives.

「So, the time is right at hand, huh……?」

The Grand Quest “Kingdom Mayhem”, battle for supremacy between the new royal camp and the former royal camp…… or in other words, ShanFro’s first super-large-scale PvP event. The rules for that one were just officially announced by the management of the game on their official website.
