ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

The number of assailants is exactly three. One of them seems to be a role player who has abandoned any sort of shame, but the other two have a sign of genuine aptness to them. In fact, these three criminals seem to be the remnants of the former PK Guild Ashura-Kai, or at the very least they carried themselves like someone who would be impressed by that sort of players.

Perhaps the one who is so strangely accustomed to the movement and actions taken against other Players is the main culprit here, and even when compared with the other two who came along with him, he alone was clearly exercising caution against her movements and possible actions she might take.

(But this Player with a gun…… Ahh, maybe playing the role of the Villain is closer in nature to acting in professional wrestling?)

It was not all that serious of a surprise attack. Was more as if the attacker was giving her a chance to counter…… Or rather, it was a typical wrestler behavior when a Hero and a Villain were to put up a show. It’s was really annoying that a Player Killer would behave in such a way, but thanks to that she was going to have a chance to actually fight back. So it was actually great that a Player Killer would show Karintou such consideration.

「Now then……」

She is against two spearmen and one gunner. At least she wouldn’t have to fight with guns alone, but aside from those two spears and a gun there was no sight that they were concealing other weapons on them. This means that they might not actually be good with any other weapons, or that they perhaps would not take them out right now. Maybe not until they would be chased into a corner.

For the time being, Karintou decided to lower the priority of the gunner Player Killer and took out a certain weapon while keeping the two spearmen in her sights all the time.

「Huh? What the……?」

「A hammer……?」

「You would know about that for sure if you ever watched one of my streams, but I really like blunt force weapons, you know?」

The large two-handed sledgehammer clasped with both of her hands is even bigger and heavier than the usual sledgehammer. It actually looked more like a mallet with its size and shape similar to that of a mochi-tsuki pestle, covered in jet-black luster that was shining in the first rays of the morning sun.

「W-Well, talk about being intimidating, huh……?」

「I-Isn’t that thing dangerous? Are we perhaps in deep trouble?」

The jet-black hammer is neither a Heroic Weapon, Rare Weapon, nor a Unique Weapon. It was created by Karintou herself, true, but it was only a basic preset for a hammer, with the only real thing that was unique about it being its name, which Karintou gave it herself the moment she created it.

However, even though it was a basic weapon, the battle time and the quality of action it experienced in her hands was long and intense. The sledgehammer, which is only a mass-produced product, was as intimidating of a weapon as the ones used by Heroes and Top Players alike.

「Oh, don’t be afraid now!! It won’t hurt you! All that much! It will only feel as though you were rushed by a pack of monsters!」

The tattered sledgehammer was now creating an incredible amount of pressure on the two spearmen all of a sudden. But since the gunner was at their side, they had nothing to worry about. So the two of them quickly regained their composure, when ––––––

「And there we go!」

「What the!? OBUEEEH!?」

「She threw it!?」

One of them happened to catch the business end of the black hammer that Karintou threw at them after giving it a full swing with their face, and ended up being blown away.

「Hmm, well this isn’t good…… The durability of this thing is really close to zero, so this means that I have to make every blow count from now on. This might be a little bit painful to you guys, but please do your best to bear with it, alright?」

Karintou then took out something from her inventory without a moment’s delay. It was the second sledgehammer “Yukuro Goshoku ‘Dolge In Black’”. It was a sledgehammer that has the same name as the one she threw just now, and it was giving off the same intimidating feeling. And then she proceeded to do the same thing for the rest of the twelve sledgehammers that were still resting inside of her inventory, with each and every single one having Durability so low that they would surely disappear. A direct result of swinging them continuously for about six hours straight without a moment of break.

「…… Oh shit, that’s really dangerous, this thing right here. I don’t think I can afford to keep playing with you guys anymore.」

Karintou smiled broadly while swinging the black hammers down into right into the enemy Player Killer’s head, splashing his brain mass all over the place in form of red pixels. She then turned around her real prey, the gun-wielding Player Killer.

The All-Night Knight Karintou is the owner of toughness so great that it allows her to stay logged in continuously for more than ten hours when she really feels like doing so.

And, the All-Night Knight Karintou is a Power-Type Player who specializes in blunt force to handle her problems. She also really enjoys physical onslaughts rather than elaborate strategies, so it was only natural that she would prefer strong and heavy weapons that would pack quite a punch while at the same time allowing her to make full use of that extraordinary physical toughness of hers.
