ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

Hmm, I see? If the origin is corrected accordingly, dragon formation is a phenomenon that occurs when the bacteria or cells of the Color Dragon are infected, and conversely, if you hunt the dragon formation monster, could it be that it is something akin of getting rid of the source of the Color Dragon Virus? But if that is the case in here, does that meant that the Player would be able to collect those cells? …… But why would we want to do that? To what end? It’s only a guess on my end that there is no source, but if I were to ask Noirlind about it, maybe I would learn something new and important?

「What do you guys want to do now? Do you want to take a break at the settlements of the Lizards and Dragonfolk?」

「I…… Umm, maybe we should just proceed forward as we are?」

「Why don’t we keep on walking and take a break in the village of the Miner Dwarves at the foot of the volcano?」

「We have people here with three INVENTORIES with unlimited storage space. So I got you covered on all aspects, unless those are MP Recovery Potions. If you have those, then that would be good, because I don’t have all that many myself. So MP Recovery Potions would be a true blessing.」

Yes, that’s right. Imron, who was struggling to get her very own Magical Power Operation Unit at Leviathan, seems to have been shopping a lot there for things other than what she was initially looking for.

And one of those purchases seemed to have been none other than the INVENTORY itself. She must have heard it from someone who already managed to clear the entire thing, that it was on the list of purchases there and considered that to be the best thing that would help to upgrade her own “Workshop”. Say, “Brave Fish”, are you actually trying to make a good job out there? Or maybe quite the opposite……?

「No, that won’t actually be necessary. It’s really convenient for me that way. Besides, like this I can basically carry an entire “Workshop” together with me at all times.」

「Whoa, that’s so nice, I want one as well! …… Please give it to me, Tsuchinoko-san!」

「Once you put this thing on the equipment column, it won’t come off. So no can do.」

Either way, it’s not something you can easily hand over to someone else, and if you do your best to see Imron’s case, it seems like you can get it in a limited number, so you can only say that you should do your best to try and obtain it on your own. Finally, I have become accustomed to the three-window operation with normal inventory and the INVENTORY, and it would be a little regrettable to let go of it just like that……

That’s why our volcano tour should not stop until we get to our designated goal. Under Ladder-san’s guidance, we rush towards the volcano, completely through the village of the Lizards, now abandoned and devoid of all life because the whole tribe decided to follow Noirlind’s lead all that time ago.

「Uwah, what was that green light just now?」

「It’s the beam of the Emperor Scorpion, otherwise known as the Alexandrite Scorpion. You would be surprised with what accuracy this thing can shoot down even the smallest of targets that are up in the air.」

「Alex…… Say what now?」

At night, the Sigmonia Battlefront Valley’s crystal crown really stands out. Even if you can’t see the place itself, the light that illuminates the night sky in reddish glow can be seen vaguely even from a distance, and if the scorpions living in the crown shoot the interception beam as they are now, you can see the line of light that shines like a shooting star all over the night sky.

Is it fantastic? It certainly is to some extent. Would you like to go there and see it for yourself, guys? I can even give you some first class seats if you ask nice enough!

「…… Which reminds me, it seems that there was a guy who said he would go to the westernmost tip of the continent with a tactical plane or something like that.」

「「「………」」」

Speaking of which, while the light was rising into the sky, it seemed like I saw a strange light for a moment. No, it’s probably because of my mind playing tricks on me.

Unlike the Crystal Scorpions, which only throw physics out the window, the Emperor Scorpion has an excellent projectile against the air assaults, and even if there is a Tactical Warbeast there, the aerial battle is dangerous to hold under those circumstances.

「Hey, Bird-Person. I have caught myself a fish. Hey, Bird-Person. This is truly delicious. Way more than I would have thought.」

「Huh, you don’t say?」

Since the place where she used to live is a swamp in the first place, I wonder if this is the primary way in which they were getting food for themselves? But going out there and catching it just like that? But if it was indeed so, then what would be the theory behind it? And what about their communities?

Now then, she said that she managed to catch a fish, but no matter how you look at it, this fish was rather big and extremely specific. Certainly not something I was familiar with. And it even had legs…… or not? Was it only my imagination? I could swear that…… You know what? Nevermind. Hey who knows? Maybe we can use it, after all. Maybe this thing can be turned into an actual delicious and nutritious meal?

「D-Dancing!? Dancing and eating at the same time!? No way!? C-Could it be….. Could this be the secret behind Tsuchinoko-san’s unrivaled strength……!?」

「Yes, that’s right. Oh, you can totally spread that information over various message boards if you want to. It’s not like I’m going to get mad at you for doing that, or anything like that.」

「…… Wait, seriously? For real? Are you actually being serious right now?」

Yes, seriously, I am very much for real. This here Tsuchinoko-san can be said to be many different things, but fortunately for everyone involved “liar” is not one of those things. But that being said, Tsuchinoko is not actually my real name, so don’t blame me for actually believing all that at face value and don’t come back later crying that you’ve been had. You are the ones who set yourself up for this……
