Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

After swallowing a whole bag of arsenic, Zhao Rong looked at the cafeteria manager, Yang Yuhua, and sneered, ”I’m not just a master of medicine. I’m also King Yan...”

When Yang Yuhua saw how brazen the young man was, she gasped in fear and said timidly, ”My good sir, let’s talk this out. Gentlemen use their words, not their fists...”

Zhao Rong pressed closer step by step, his hawk-like eyes fixed on her. ”Gentlemen use their words, not their fists? We may be gentlemen, but you, you shrew, don’t even qualify as a villain.”

Hearing this, Yang Yuhua suddenly put on a coquettish act. ”Young man, if you can forgive me, I’m willing to spend the night with you...”

Watching Yang Yuhua’s seductive display, the assistant standing beside Zhao Rong quietly warned him, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you have to stay strong. Don’t let this woman entice you.”

In the next moment, Zhao Rong kicked Yang Yuhua to the ground. He stepped forward, slapped her twice across the face, and spat, ”You worthless trash, how dare you try to be seductive in front of me.”

When the assistant saw Zhao Rong actually hitting a woman, he asked in disbelief, ”Brother Zhao Rong, didn’t you say you never hit women? Why are you suddenly breaking your rule today?”

Zhao Rong glanced at the person on the floor, then turned to his assistant. ”Do you really think that’s a woman?”

Confused, the assistant replied, ”Brother Zhao Rong, she is a woman. What else could she be, a man?”

Zhao Rong quickly pulled a gender detector from his pocket and showed the result to the assistant. ”A moment ago, while he wasn’t looking, I discreetly used this to check his sex.”

When the assistant saw the gender detector’s screen display that Yang Yuhua was a man, he was completely flabbergasted. ”You’ve got to be kidding me,” he said in disbelief. ”The cafeteria manager, Yang Yuhua, is actually a man?”

Realizing his identity had been exposed, Yang Yuhua kipped-up to his feet.

Seeing him stand, Zhao Rong acted in a flash, pulling a bottle of makeup remover from the Magic Ring and splashing it across Yang Yuhua’s face. Instantly, the charming and seductive mask vanished, revealing his true, fierce-looking male face.

When the assistant saw that the once-beautiful Yang Yuhua had suddenly turned into a man with a menacing visage, he sucked in a breath of cold air. ”This women’s college claims to be all-female, but it looks to me like most of them are men in disguise...”

After being doused with makeup remover, Yang Yuhua stared at Zhao Rong with fury. ”You two bastards, you forced my hand! Don’t blame me for what happens next! Anyone in this world who sees my true face must die!”

”I just don’t get it,” Zhao Rong said, looking at him with genuine confusion. ”If you’re a man, just live your life as a man. Why pretend to be a woman? Aren’t you just weaving a cocoon to trap yourself?”

While Zhao Rong was still pondering this, Yang Yuhua whipped a Longsword from his waist and pointed it at them. ”You two brats will die here in the school cafeteria today! You not only discovered my secret, but you also exposed my true face to the world!”

Hearing this, the assistant pulled out his phone, snapped a picture of Yang Yuhua, and said, ”Thanks for the reminder. I’ll just take a photo of you now. I’m not just going to post it to WeChat Moments and Weibo, but I’ll also send it to Toutiao so everyone knows that Yang Yuhua, the cafeteria manager of Xijing City Women’s University, is a man, not a woman.”

Hearing that his photo would be plastered all over social media, Yang Yuhua turned red with rage. ”You dare post my picture online? I’ll mince you into paste right now!” With that, he brandished the Longsword and charged at the assistant.

When Zhao Rong saw that Yang Yuhua was about to kill someone, he delivered a swift side kick that sent him sprawling to the ground. ”Yang Yuhua, I’m warning you. Surrender now, and we might spare your life. If you keep up this foolishness and try to slash people with that sword, we won’t be so lenient.”

Yang Yuhua scrambled up from the floor, his sword in hand. ”You two whippersnappers think you can be lenient with me?” he said arrogantly. ”I think you’re severely overestimating yourselves.” He then began to show off the blade.

Seeing how arrogant Yang Yuhua was, Zhao Rong didn’t hesitate to pull his own Dharma Sword from the Magic Ring.

Yang Yuhua’s eyes widened when he saw a sword materialize in Zhao Rong’s hand. He scoffed, ”You think that blade can compare to mine? Let me tell you, this sword was once wielded by Lord Lao Zi of the Great Monad himself! Its name is the Grand Treasure Sword!”

When Zhao Rong heard the sword’s name, he burst out laughing. ”The ’Grand Treasure Sword’? Are you kidding me? Of all the names you could have picked, you chose one that’s slang for a ’full-service’ massage. You must spend a lot of time in bathhouses. Since your sword has such a sleazy name, let my Dharma Sword teach your ’Grand Treasure Sword’ a lesson.”

”My Grand Treasure Sword is definitely stronger than your Dharma Sword!” Yang Yuhua retorted, unconvinced. ”Come and fight if you don’t believe me!” He then swung his sword, slashing towards Zhao Rong.

Facing the attack, Zhao Rong simply met it with a gentle swing of his Dharma Sword, which cleanly sliced Yang Yuhua’s blade in two.

Seeing his supposedly mighty sword so easily broken, Yang Yuhua finally began to see Zhao Rong in a new light. He backed away slowly, saying, ”Even though my sword is no match for your Dharma Sword, and even though I can’t beat the two of you alone... don’t forget where you are. This is the school cafeteria, my territory!

”On my turf, I call the shots! I’m going to show you just how powerful my influence is!”

With that, Yang Yuhua tilted his head back and bellowed, ”Brothers, come on out! Chop these two into mincemeat, and then...”

Hearing that the school’s cafeteria manager was so vicious that he wanted to have them minced, Zhao Rong took a sharp breath. ”Yang Yuhua, you’re too cruel. You remind me of the innkeeper from the Dragon Gate Inn, killing people to use their flesh for fillings...”

Yang Yuhua sneered, ”I am that hateful. What are you going to do about it?”

Before he could finish, two or three dozen helpers rushed out from all corners of the cafeteria. There were chefs, kitchen hands, and purchasers, all brandishing vegetable knives, meat cleavers, and deboning knives with murderous intent.

Seeing his reinforcements, Yang Yuhua cackled. ”People say to fear the fists of the young, but today, I’ll teach you that there’s strength in numbers!” He then gestured to the crowd behind him. ”What are you waiting for? Charge! Chop them to death with your knives and grind them into paste!”

Zhao Rong’s eyes widened as he looked at the thirty-odd men in white uniforms. ”Holy crap, so the women’s university cafeteria is just a criminal den... These guys are secretly murdering people. They’re completely lawless.”

The assistant grabbed a table to use as a shield. ”Brother Zhao Rong, we need to wipe out these scoundrels! We’ll be doing a service to the public and delivering justice on behalf of Heaven!”

Zhao Rong shook his head. ”Forget wiping them out. We’ll just use justifiable self-defense. As long as we follow the law and don’t kill the innocent, it’ll be fine.”

With that, he and his assistant charged forward into the melee.

As the thirty men clashed with Zhao Rong and his assistant, Yang Yuhua sat down on a nearby stool and poured himself a glass of orange juice. ”So many men in this university have discovered my secret,” he muttered, taking a sip. ”I’ve killed all of them quietly right here in this cafeteria. Today, two more fools have delivered themselves to my doorstep. Looks like I won’t have to worry about the filling for tomorrow’s dumplings.”

Even if these two young men are powerful, they’re no match for the thirty-odd men I’ve trained.

Just as Yang Yuhua was anticipating his men turning Zhao Rong and the assistant into mincemeat, a shocking scene unfolded. In less than a minute, Zhao Rong had not only knocked down all the chefs, kitchen hands, and purchasers, but had also tied every single one of them up.

The assistant, meanwhile, was on the phone. ”Yang Yuhua, your men weren’t even enough for a warm-up,” he said, dialing the police. ”I’m calling the authorities to hand you all over.”

When Yang Yuhua saw how effortlessly Zhao Rong and the assistant had dispatched his thirty-odd subordinates, he was utterly dumbfounded. He sat up straight and spat out a mouthful of orange juice. ”Who in the world are you two? How are you so skilled?”

Zhao Rong walked towards him. ”We’re just ordinary people. The reason we’re so capable is that we fight for justice and uphold what’s right.”

Yang Yuhua retreated, warning, ”Young man, don’t you come any closer! Be careful, or I’ll transform!”

Hearing his words, Zhao Rong paused. Could this Yang Yuhua be a magical beast, too? Otherwise, why would he talk about transforming?
