Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Zhao Rong watched as the dean pulled a box out of his pocket. He asked in surprise, ”Dean, don’t tell me that you give this to every student who performs well at the sports academy?”

The assistant gasped at the sight of the Okamoto condoms in the dean’s hand. ”It seems our sports academy really does emphasize the students’ reproductive health and safety, huh…”

Lili even gave the Dean a thumbs-up. ”This is a great reward! It not only prevents pregnancy but also protects against sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS…”

Yu Lan, looking at the huge box of condoms in the Dean’s hand, swallowed and remarked, ”It seems the male students at our sports academy are quite something for the Dean to be personally handing out condoms…”

Xuelian glanced at the pack in the Dean’s hand, noticed the expiration date, and kindly reminded him, ”Dean, it looks like that box of condoms has already expired…”

At that moment, the Dean suddenly realized that when he had reached into his pocket for the Honor Badge, he had accidentally pulled out the condoms instead. Utterly embarrassed, he stuffed the condoms into his right pocket while his left hand quickly produced the Honor Badge and presented it to Zhao Rong.

”Zhao Rong, I’m so sorry,” the Dean said awkwardly. ”I meant to reward you with the Honor Badge, but my hand slipped and I grabbed the wrong thing…” As he spoke, he pinned the Honor Badge onto Zhao Rong’s chest.

Zhao Rong looked down at the badge and asked with interest, ”Dean, what are the benefits of wearing this Honor Badge?” The moment the words left his mouth, he felt his question might have sounded a bit too materialistic.

But before he could backtrack, the Dean immediately replied, ”Zhao Rong, you may not know this, but any student at our sports academy who wears an Honor Badge gets free meals, free showers, free lodging, and free tuition. On top of that, if they get a girlfriend, they can also visit the school’s family planning committee to receive free contraceptives…”

Hearing about all the benefits, especially the free contraceptives, Zhao Rong burst out laughing. ”Dean, it seems this Honor Badge from our school is really something special…”

The Dean patted Zhao Rong on the shoulder and gave him a thumbs-up. ”Young man, if you want to get supplies from the school’s family planning committee, don’t be shy or worried. The contraceptives our school provides are all from famous brands like Jissbon, Durex, and Okamoto…”

”Thank you, Dean, for granting me this Honor Badge,” Zhao Rong said. ”I will definitely do my best and bring glory to our sports academy.”

The Dean smiled. ”Don’t be so hasty. I’m not finished. If a student has the Honor Badge, they also receive the annual scholarship, no questions asked. After graduation, they can even choose to stay on as a university sports instructor…”

Hearing about the teaching position piqued Zhao Rong’s interest. He asked, ”I must say, Dean, teaching at the school sounds like a great job. But for someone like me with no special skills, what would I even teach?”

The Dean waved away his concerns. ”A talent as outstanding as you? If you were to stay and teach, you could be assigned to our school’s family planning committee. You’d be in charge of distributing condoms to the students.”

When Zhao Rong heard that his job would be to hand out condoms, he was so shocked he stumbled and nearly fell. He quickly recovered and politely refused the offer. ”Dean, thank you for your kindness. Although our sports academy is great, I feel that staying on to teach isn’t ambitious enough for a man. I should go out and make my way in the world…”

With that, Zhao Rong, the three women, and the assistant bade farewell to the Dean and headed toward the Martial Arts Club building to find its president, He Yanming.

Along the way, Zhao Rong suddenly remembered his recent livestream. He turned to Lili, who was walking beside him, and asked jokingly, ”Lili, what do you think? I was live for about half an hour. How much do you reckon I earned from donations?”

Lili thought for a moment. ”At the very least, a thousand yuan, I’d say.”

Xuelian chimed in, ”A thousand yuan? No way. Brother Zhao Rong has so many fans, it has to be at least ten thousand yuan!”

Yu Lan shook her head in disagreement. ”Didn’t you see how fluid his fighting was? It was more exciting than a movie! I think his income from that stream must have exceeded 100,000 yuan…”

While the three women were debating, the assistant stepped forward to flatter him. ”Brother Zhao Rong, they’re all way off. Your donations definitely exceeded 10,000,000 yuan!”

As he spoke, the assistant glanced at Zhao Rong and snickered inwardly. Brother Zhao Rong, I only said ten million to butter you up and make you happy. I know your streaming income couldn’t possibly pass ten million. Heck, I doubt it even passed a thousand…

Before the assistant could finish his thought, Zhao Rong took out his phone, opened the livestreaming platform, and checked his earnings. When he saw the income from his stream, his hand shook so badly that he dropped his phone.

When the three women saw the phone fall, they all sighed in pity. ”Brother Zhao Rong, we know it’s your first stream. You probably didn’t make much, but please don’t be discouraged. Livestreaming is a process. It takes persistence to slowly build a fanbase. You can’t expect to succeed overnight.”

The assistant also tried to comfort him. ”Brother Zhao Rong, what did you see? Was it just a few cents? It’s okay, don’t cry. I’ll take out my phone right now and tip you…”

Zhao Rong bent down and picked up his phone. He looked at the others, his voice choking slightly. ”It’s not that it’s too little… It’s too much. It scared me.”

With that, he showed the income figure to the group.

When the assistant saw that Zhao Rong’s streaming income was 11,000,000 yuan, he was so shocked he collapsed. Trembling, he climbed back to his feet and said in disbelief, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I was just sucking up to you when I said you made over ten million… I never imagined you actually did! You’re a bonafide streaming celebrity!”

The moment the three women saw the amount, they immediately took out their phones and started their own livestreams.

Lili began broadcasting and said to Zhao Rong, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I never expected your first stream would make you a star! I really have to learn from you. Your income is astounding!”

Yu Lan pulled a selfie stick from her pocket and went live. ”Brother Zhao Rong, I want to learn from you! You’re a bodyguard, and you’ve already launched a side hustle!”

Xuelian immediately got on her phone, bought a drone for streaming, and said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I’m going to learn from you, too! I’ll use a drone to livestream. That’s the only way to get fan donations to break ten million!”

As Zhao Rong casually withdrew the 11,000,000 yuan from his streaming account to his Swiss bank, he encouraged the three women, ”You all keep at it. I believe that with your beauty and figures, you’ll definitely become celebrity streamers and earn over ten million a month, or even hundreds of millions.”

Hearing this, the assistant also took out his phone, borrowed a selfie stick from a passerby, and declared, ”If a plain-looking guy like Brother Zhao Rong can earn over ten million from streaming, then I, his assistant, can do it too!”

However, despite the assistant’s confidence, reality is cruel and dreams are frail. The moment he started his livestream, the backlash from viewers was immediate.

One fan left a comment: ”Bro, for someone as ugly as you to livestream is an insult to the entire platform.”

Another wrote: ”Dude, being ugly isn’t your fault. But for someone as hideous as you to go live and be an eyesore, that’s just wrong.”

A third commented: ”Big Brother, instead of going out and scaring people, you’d be better off staying home and finding a stable job. That would probably suit you better.”

Seeing that his first stream had earned zero donations and he was instead getting viciously roasted, the assistant burst into tears. Looking at Zhao Rong beside him, he thought, We’re both men, about the same age and height. Why is the gap between us so huge?

While everyone behind Zhao Rong was busy with their streams, he suddenly spotted a familiar figure flash past the entrance of the Martial Arts Club before darting inside.

”Look!” Zhao Rong roared. ”That’s him! The president of the Martial Arts Club, He Yanming!”

Hearing the name, the assistant, Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian immediately ended their streams. They shouted to their audiences, ”Fans, friends, everyone, hang tight! We’ll be right back after we catch the villain, He Yanming!”

But as the four of them stopped streaming, Zhao Rong used his new drone to start his own stream back up. He announced to his fans, ”Alright everyone, I’m now going to livestream the pursuit of a villain! Keep your eyes peeled, enjoy the show, and please show some support!”

With that, Zhao Rong kept the stream running as he chased after He Yanming.
