Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Just as Zhao Rong was about to use the Return My Beauty Punch on his assistant, the three beauties, having dealt with Huang Xiaojuan, rushed over.

Miss Lili grabbed Zhao Rong’s arm. ”Brother Zhao Rong, the assistant was crushed by a giant rock and is barely alive. It’s one thing that you’re not saving his life, but why are you raising your fist to hit him?”

Yu Lan hurried over and hugged Zhao Rong’s waist from behind to stop him. ”Brother Zhao Rong, the assistant is on his last breath. Your punch would definitely hasten his death!”

Xuelian rushed to stand in front of the assistant, pointing at Zhao Rong’s nose. ”Brother Zhao Rong, what we need to do now is concoct an antidote and treat the assistant’s wounds, not hit him!”

Seeing that the three had misunderstood him, Zhao Rong immediately explained, ”Please don’t get me wrong. I’m not trying to hit the assistant. Haven’t you ever heard of the Return My Beauty Punch?”

Miss Lili nodded. ”Of course. Back when I watched ’Flirting Scholar,’ Stephen Chow used a brilliant Return My Beauty Punch to turn Qiu Xiang from a pig-faced woman into a beauty.”

Not understanding, Yu Lan asked, ”The Return My Beauty Punch is a technique for turning someone with a pig-face into a beauty. But right now, the assistant doesn’t need you to turn him from an ugly man into a handsome one; he needs you to turn him from a dying man into a healthy one!”

Zhao Rong quickly explained, ”There’s something you don’t know. I could concoct an elixir to save the assistant and bring him back from the brink of death, but that would be too time-consuming. For someone like the assistant, I feel the quickest and most efficient method is to use a set of punches. I can beat him from being a critically injured patient into a healthy person. This is the fastest and best way.”

Hearing that Zhao Rong’s Return My Beauty Punch could actually cure the sick and save lives, Xuelian was incredulous. ”Brother Zhao Rong, when did you learn such an incredible martial art? How come we never knew?”

Brother Zhao Rong is truly incredible, Xuelian thought. Not only is he handsome and a master of alchemy, but he can even save someone’s life just by beating them up. It’s simply miraculous!

Zhao Rong chuckled and told the three women, ”Actually, this is a martial art I figured out myself while studying the alchemy manual.”

When the three beauties heard that this wasn’t something Zhao Rong had learned, but something he had developed himself, they stared at him with infatuation and disbelief. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you’re truly amazing! You’re not only brilliant but also incredibly creative. You’re like a new breed of man for the 21st century!”

Zhao Rong paused, then rubbed his hands together eagerly. ”Alright, time is of the essence. The assistant is fading fast. I have to save him.”

With that, Zhao Rong prepared to use his fists to save the assistant’s life. The three beauties cooperated by holding the assistant up. Just as Zhao Rong was about to start punching, the semi-conscious assistant suddenly came to with a final burst of energy. He weakly opened his eyes, and when he saw Zhao Rong raising a fist to beat him, he used every last bit of his strength to shout, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I pushed you out of the way to save you! That’s why I was smashed by that rock and ended up like this! How can you repay my kindness with such ingratitude and hit me?”

Hearing the assistant’s misunderstanding, Miss Lili quickly explained, ”Assistant, you’ve misunderstood Brother Zhao Rong. He’s not trying to hit you; he’s trying to save you!”

The assistant was shocked. ”Damn it, to save someone, you send them to a hospital, right? Why is Zhao Rong trying to hit me? Is he trying to beat me to death?”

Yu Lan did her best to persuade the assistant to accept the beating. ”Assistant, don’t overthink it. Just let Brother Zhao Rong hit you for a bit. Afterward, you’ll understand the benefits.”

Listening to her, the assistant was completely baffled. ”I’ve been alive for over twenty years, and this is the first time I’ve ever heard that beating someone can save them.”

Standing nearby, Xuelian saw the assistant was wasting time and urged Zhao Rong, ”Brother Zhao Rong, hurry up and use the Return My Beauty Punch! If we delay any longer, I’m afraid his body won’t be able to take the strain from the rock’s impact.” After speaking, she took a closer look at the assistant’s injuries and saw they were severe; he had several broken ribs, and his internal organs were also damaged.

Heeding Xuelian’s words, Zhao Rong immediately unleashed a flurry of punches on the assistant’s body, shouting, ”Return My Beauty Punch! Healing and Saving Punch! Resurrection Punch! Health and Recovery Punch!”

As he finished speaking, a miracle occurred.

The assistant, who had been on the verge of death just moments before, suddenly stood up, face glowing with health and full of spirit. She wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, then touched her body in amazement. ”Brother Zhao Rong, what elixir did you give me? How did I recover my vitality so quickly?”

When Zhao Rong saw the assistant was healthy again, he sighed in relief and shook his fists. ”Assistant, I didn’t give you any elixir. I just used a set of healing punches, that’s all.”

When the assistant heard that Zhao Rong’s punches could heal people, she was completely in awe of him. She licked her lips and looked at Zhao Rong with envy. ”Brother Zhao Rong, that martial art of yours is incredible! Could you teach me a little so I can have a skill of my own?”

Just as the assistant was speaking, the weightlifter lying on the ground burst into wild laughter.

When the assistant saw the weightlifter laughing, she immediately rushed over and delivered a flying kick that nearly killed him. ”You damn weightlifter! You ugly man! Not only are you evil, but you also hurt me! And now you dare to laugh instead of repenting? I’ll finish you!”

As she spoke, the assistant prepared to punish him further.

But the weightlifter just laughed coldly. ”Assistant, even if I die, you won’t live for long.”

Hearing this, the assistant said dismissively, ”Even though you nearly killed me with that giant rock, I was lucky to have Brother Zhao Rong. He used his Return My Beauty Punch to save me! Now, I’m not only glowing with health, I’m full of energy and can run and jump again. How could a healthy person like me possibly die?”

With that, the assistant burst into triumphant laughter.

Seeing the assistant laugh, the weightlifter also laughed maniacally. ”Assistant, let me tell you the truth. I have Love Disease.”

When the assistant heard that the weightlifter had Love Disease, her legs went weak and she collapsed to the ground in terror. ”Damn it! How could I be so unlucky? You’re not just a man, you have Love Disease! Don’t tell me you’ve already infected me?” As she spoke, she scared herself half to death.

When Zhao Rong and the three beauties heard the weightlifter had Love Disease, they all gasped. Zhao Rong helped the assistant up from the ground and comforted her. ”Love Disease is terrifying, but it has an incubation period of five to ten years. You definitely won’t die right away, so don’t be afraid. I’ll order a test kit online right now to check you. If you really were infected, you’ll need to start cocktail therapy right away. If not, then that’s for the best.”

As he spoke, Zhao Rong opened an app on his phone and bought a blood test kit from Taobao. When choosing the shipping method, he paid extra for Express Delivery.

The assistant stood beside him, anxious and miserable. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you have to get that test kit so I can check! I need to know if that monster infected me with Love Disease!” Filled with dread, she couldn’t sit still.

When the three beauties saw how terrified she was, they immediately went to comfort her.

Miss Lili patted her shoulder. ”Assistant, try not to be scared. Transmission isn’t guaranteed. There’s a good chance you weren’t infected.”

Yu Lan patted her chest reassuringly. ”Assistant, don’t be afraid. Although Love Disease is incurable, it won’t kill you immediately.”

Xuelian then gave her an example to console her. ”Assistant, do you know the NBA star Magic Johnson? He’s had Love Disease for over twenty years, and he’s still living a perfectly fine life.”

Listening to their words of comfort, the assistant started to feel a little better. Wiping away her tears, she said, ”From now on, I will live a clean and virtuous life...”

Before she could finish her sentence, a delivery man was seen running toward them from a short distance away. When he reached Zhao Rong, he said breathlessly, ”Sir, your delivery is here. For you.” As he spoke, he started pulling something out of his delivery bag.

Zhao Rong looked at him in surprise. ”Mister, I don’t think I ordered any food. You must have the wrong person.”

The delivery man answered earnestly, ”Sir, didn’t you just buy a Love Disease test kit on Taobao? You chose Express Delivery, so while I was delivering food in the area, I brought your test kit along.”

With that, the delivery man handed the Love Disease test kit to Zhao Rong.

When the assistant saw the test kit in Zhao Rong’s hands, she couldn’t help but think, Life or death... it all comes down to this test.
