Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When Zhao Rong and his group arrived by taxi at the entrance of the Sports College, they gaped in astonishment at the scene before them.

Lili stretched her neck to look at the school entrance, blinked, and said, ”Zhao Rong, it looks like someone’s causing trouble at the gate...”

Yu Lan squeezed through the crowd and shouted back to him in surprise, ”Zhao Rong, it’s not just someone causing trouble! It’s disciples from the Wild Wolf Sect, and they’re here to pick a fight with the Sports College!”

Xuelian even took a pair of binoculars from her pocket, climbed a tree to get a better view of the gate, and reported, ”Zhao Rong, it looks like a lot of Sports College students have been beaten to the ground by the Wild Wolf Sect...”

Upon hearing the name ”Wild Wolf Sect,” the assistant immediately stepped forward. He pointed at the group of people ahead and said, ”Damn it. It’s been a while since I’ve heard that name. For you to come cause a scene at the Sports College... you’re just asking for a beating.”

At that, Zhao Rong pushed his way through the crowd. Once he got through, he was immediately greeted by a shocking sight: dozens of Wild Wolf Sect disciples were shouting provocations at the college entrance.

The leader, a man with a thick gold chain around his neck, pointed at the people lying on the ground. ”Aren’t you students from the Sports College Martial Arts Department supposed to be so tough? So why are you all laid out on the ground by our Wild Wolf Sect?”

The disciples behind him chimed in, ”Get your Martial Arts Department president, He Yanming, out here! Our boss, Liang Zongying, wants to challenge him to a duel! You Sports College students are just a bunch of cowards! You’re no match for our Wild Wolf Sect! The Wild Wolf Sect has dominated Xijing City for years, unrivaled wherever we go! Beating you college kids is nothing. We could take on any martial arts master in the world without breaking a sweat! So, you students might as well get on your knees and call us Grandpa!”

Just then, a short, skinny figure suddenly burst out from inside the college. He executed a perfect front flip, landing right in front of the Wild Wolf Sect disciples. ”You beasts from the Wild Wolf Sect! Do you have any idea who I am, coming here to cause havoc?”

The Wild Wolf Sect leader, Liang Zongying, stepped forward and looked the short figure up and down with a sneer. ”Well, well, little brat. Don’t tell me you’re He Yanming, the president of the Martial Arts Department?”

The short man shook his head and struck a ”White Crane Spreads Its Wings” pose, trying to look like a grandmaster. ”You Wild Wolf Sect idiots! Let me tell you, I’m not He Yanming. I am Mu Xiping!”

He then added, ”Mu Xiping! Surely you’ve heard of such a resounding name, right?”

Hearing the unfamiliar name and seeing the unremarkable, short young man before them, the Wild Wolf Sect disciples glanced at each other before erupting into a wave of derisive laughter.

When Mu Xiping heard them daring to laugh at him, he puffed out his chest and declared, ”Let me be frank with you! I am Mu Xiping, the one and only fighter selected by the UFC when they came to Xijing City a few months ago!”

Seeing that the shorty was supposedly a combat expert, Liang Zongying immediately ordered a disciple behind him, ”Yan Weizhou, go teach him a lesson.”

Yan Weizhou leaped forward, pointed at Mu Xiping, and sneered, ”I might be the most pathetic disciple in the Wild Wolf Sect, but even a loser like me can take down Mu Xiping, the so-called best fighter at the Sports College. Don’t believe me?”

Mu Xiping scoffed in disbelief. ”You? The most pathetic disciple of the Wild Wolf Sect wants to beat me, the top combat expert of the Sports College? You must be dreaming.”

However, before Mu Xiping could finish speaking, Yan Weizhou shot a punch straight into his stomach, knocking him to the ground. ”Damn it! You’re a UFC fighter, but I’m a cultivator. You should take a good look at yourself. For a common combat expert from a college to challenge a cultivator like me... it’s as futile as an egg hitting a rock.”

Knocked to the ground, Mu Xiping protested defiantly, ”I... I forgot to tell you! I practice ground fighting! My Martial Arts only work when I’m on the ground. The standing fight just now doesn’t count!”

Hearing the shorty claim his skills only worked while lying down, the Wild Wolf Sect disciples howled with laughter. Liang Zongying shot Yan Weizhou a look and said, ”What are you waiting for? Finish him.”

Receiving his boss’s order, Yan Weizhou leaped up and stomped down with a powerful kick. Before Mu Xiping could even react, the foot slammed into his stomach.

Clutching his belly, Mu Xiping rolled on the ground in agony. ”I told you! My Martial Arts only work on the ground! You have to lie down and grapple with me so I can use my Joint Locks to subdue you! But you... you jumped up and hit me with a flying kick! That’s against the rules! I don’t accept this!”

Listening to Mu Xiping’s rambling, Liang Zongying snapped his fingers. ”Damn, this guy is long-winded. Just finish him off and be done with it.”

At the command, Yan Weizhou whipped a dagger from his belt and lunged, aiming for Mu Xiping’s stomach. ”I’ll kill you!”

When Mu Xiping saw the Wild Wolf Sect disciple coming at him with a sharp dagger, he was so terrified he wet his pants. ”In mixed martial arts, you’re only allowed to fight bare-handed! Using weapons isn’t allowed! You’re stabbing me with a knife! That’s a serious foul! You’ll be disqualified!”

Just as Yan Weizhou’s dagger was about to end Mu Xiping’s life, the onlookers and Sports College students standing by squeezed their eyes shut.

A Sports College student sighed in despair, ”The Wild Wolf Sect is truly terrifying. It looks like the Sports College is finished. And the so-called number one expert of the college is about to die at the hands of a Wild Wolf Sect disciple...”

An old woman selling sweet potatoes wiped away a tear. ”If the Sports College gets shut down by these Wild Wolf Sect thugs, I’ll be out of business...”

Everyone was filled with despair and fear. Mu Xiping himself was certain that Yan Weizhou’s blade would kill him. But in a flash, Zhao Rong stepped forward, grabbed Yan Weizhou’s wrist, and twisted. With a sharp crack, he broke it. ”Damn you! You beasts from the Wild Wolf Sect have some nerve, causing trouble at the entrance of a university. You’ve gone too far!”

Before Yan Weizhou could even process what had happened, his arm was broken. The dagger clattered to the ground. He clutched his mangled wrist and scrambled back to his boss. ”Boss, you have to avenge me! This meddling onlooker came out of nowhere and snapped my wrist! It hurts like hell!”

Zhao Rong helped Mu Xiping up from the ground, brushing the dust off his clothes. ”Mu Xiping, are you okay?”

Mu Xiping opened his eyes. He was alive, and the person who had saved him was none other than Zhao Rong—the same man he had fought at the school gate once before. Embarrassed, Mu Xiping lowered his head and said gratefully, ”Brother, it’s you! Thank you for saving my life. I remember when you first came to the school, I even tried to make a move on the three beautiful women with you. We ended up fighting. Thinking back on it now, I feel so guilty. I’m sorry, Brother...”

Zhao Rong patted Mu Xiping’s shoulder. ”If anything, I should be the one apologizing. After all, I was the one who beat you up last time.”

With that, Zhao Rong turned to face the dozens of Wild Wolf Sect disciples, his eyes blazing. ”Let me ask you, what are you doing here at the Sports College gate?”

Yan Weizhou, nursing his broken arm, stepped forward and cursed, ”Who the hell are you? What business is it of yours why we’re here?”

Before Yan Weizhou could finish, Zhao Rong shot forward and sent him flying with a front kick. ”Damn it. The one thing I hate most is a poser who can’t back up his talk.”

Seeing Yan Weizhou get kicked away, another Wild Wolf Sect disciple leaped out. ”You bastard, who are you? Are you a student here or just some random onlooker? Why are you stopping us from beating up the college students?”

Before this disciple could finish speaking, Zhao Rong rushed over, grabbed his ear, twisted it, and punched him in the stomach. ”I’m not just a student at the Sports College,” he snarled, ”I’m also a member of the Martial Arts Club.”

With that, Zhao Rong brought his leg down in a powerful axe kick, smashing the disciple to the ground.

Hearing that this man was not only a student but also a member of the Martial Arts Club, the dozens of Wild Wolf Sect disciples instinctively clustered together. Their boss, Liang Zongying, watched Zhao Rong with a frown. He whispered to the men beside him, ”This guy looks like he has some real skill. Be careful. Don’t attack him alone. Wait for my command.”

Saying this, Liang Zongying took a step forward, putting on a smile. ”Young man, we came here today at the invitation of the Sports College’s Martial Arts Club for a friendly match. But when we arrived at the gate, not only was there no one to welcome us, but the gate guard even stopped us from entering.”

Hearing that the Wild Wolf Sect disciples were supposedly there to compete with the Martial Arts Club, Zhao Rong just smiled and pushed the school gates wide open. ”If you’re here for a competition, then let’s go inside and talk.”

When the surrounding students and onlookers saw Zhao Rong open the gates and willingly lead the wolves into the den, they were utterly astonished and began to mutter amongst themselves.

”Has that Sports College student, Zhao Rong, lost his mind? He’s leading those thugs, those murderous criminals, right into the college! This is going to be a disaster!”

”That student is a simple-minded fool. I bet after he leads the Wild Wolf Sect inside, he’ll be the first one they kill.”

”Ah, whatever. Let’s follow them in and watch the show. We’ll see how the Wild Wolf Sect thrashes the Sports College students and then deals with this Zhao Rong character...”
