Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Suddenly, Zhao Rong remembered something. When he was previously buying medication for his assistant in the Paradise Shopping Cart, the merchant had included a pill that increases desire just to get a good review. Just now, when the three women were giving the assistant his medication, they had accidentally grabbed the wrong one. They had dropped the pill meant to reduce desire on the floor and instead given him the pill that would increase it.

The assistant was now burning with lust, overcome with an unbearable craving, and liable to lose control at any moment.

Watching his assistant in this state, Zhao Rong thought, There’s no time to lose. I have to open the mobile app now and buy a pill to relieve his suffering and turn him back to normal.

However, just as Zhao Rong opened the app to buy the medicine, he received a call from the chairman. Seeing who it was, he had no time to make the online purchase and quickly answered.

Once the call connected, the chairman exclaimed, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you’re absolutely incredible! I’ve been looking for that corporate spy for ten years, and you found him in just one month.”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong replied humbly, ”Hello, Boss. I’m happy to hear from you. As for capturing the corporate spy, Lu Xiaoqiang, I can only say I got lucky. It was like a blind cat stumbling upon a dead mouse, that’s all.”

”Zhao Rong, given the major contribution you’ve made to our company, I’ve decided to reward you properly,” the chairman continued.

Hearing this, Zhao Rong modestly declined. ”Chairman, you’ve already been more than good to me. I work for you, and you pay my salary. Completing the mission was just part of my job, so there’s no need for an extra reward.”

The chairman dismissed his humble words, insisting on the reward. ”No. You’ve accomplished a great feat for our company and saved us from such a huge loss. I absolutely must reward you. As for what the reward is... I’ll give you a fantastic surprise when I see you.”

At the mention of a surprise, Zhao Rong wondered, The chairman isn’t planning on rewarding me with his secretary, Cang Moukong, is he?

Just as Zhao Rong was pondering this, the chairman abruptly hung up. Zhao Rong stared at his phone, thinking, What kind of surprise could he be planning?

Suddenly, a familiar figure emerged from around the corner of the corridor, followed by his secretary, Cang Moukong, and a few other company executives.

When Zhao Rong saw the chairman walking toward him, he went to greet him. ”Chairman, thank you for coming all this way yourself.”

The chairman smiled broadly as he approached, extending his right hand. ”Zhao Rong, you’re one of our most capable men. You’ve once again perfectly completed the task I gave you, and I must reward you properly.”

With that, the chairman turned to his secretary. ”Cang Moukong, bring out Zhao Rong’s reward.”

”Understood, Chairman,” she said, nodding. She then took a large bunch of keys out of her bag.

When Zhao Rong saw the pile of keys, he looked at the chairman in astonishment. ”Chairman, are you planning to set me up with a key-cutting shop?”

At this, the chairman burst out laughing. Seeing him laugh, Miss Lili went up and said coyly while nestling into her father’s embrace, ”Daddy, what are you going to reward Brother Zhao Rong with?”

The assistant, standing behind them, also stared wide-eyed at the chairman, curious about the reward.

While everyone looked on curiously, the chairman held up the string of keys and began to explain them one by one. He held up the first key. ”Zhao Rong, this is for a Ferrari. The first part of your reward is a Ferrari sports car.”

When the onlookers heard that the first reward was a Ferrari, they were all flabbergasted.

Zhao Rong stared at the key in disbelief. ”Chairman, I only completed a small task for you. You shouldn’t give me something so valuable.”

Before Zhao Rong could finish, the chairman stuffed the Ferrari key into his pocket. ”You captured the corporate spy Lu Xiaoqiang and sent him to the police station. The contributions you’ve made to the company fully deserve a Ferrari.”

As he spoke, the chairman took a second key and dangled it in the air. ”Zhao Rong, this second key is for a Mercedes-Benz RV.”

When the crowd heard the second reward was a Mercedes-Benz RV, their jaws dropped. While they envied Zhao Rong for receiving such gifts, they were also in awe of the chairman’s generosity.

Zhao Rong looked at the RV key in the chairman’s hand and politely declined. ”Chairman, you’ve already given me a Ferrari. I think I should pass on the RV…”

Before he could finish, the chairman shoved the RV key into his pocket as well. ”I’m giving you this RV so that on future jobs, you can take Miss Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, and your assistant on the road in comfort. This will give you all better accommodations so you won’t have to sleep outside exposed to the elements.”

Hearing the chairman’s reasoning, Zhao Rong had to admit that an RV would be quite useful, so he accepted the key. He then turned to Miss Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, and the assistant. ”I suppose this RV will be very helpful on our future field assignments. At least we’ll have a place to sleep at night, and we won’t have to eat out since we’ll be able to cook our own meals.”

When the three women and the assistant heard that Zhao Rong had accepted the RV, they cheered. ”With an RV, we can live in it, eat in it, play in it, and even get our work done in it!”

Zhao Rong thanked the chairman. ”Thank you, Chairman, for these two incredible gifts.”

After this, Zhao Rong assumed the rewards were finished. After all, a Ferrari and a Mercedes RV were already worth tens of millions combined.

But to his surprise, the chairman produced yet another key. ”Not so fast, young man. I’m not done. I have more rewards for you, and you must take this.”

Zhao Rong looked at the key, which was shaped somewhat like a boat. He asked curiously, ”Chairman, please just tell me what this is. I’ve never seen a key like this before.”

The chairman gave him a mysterious smile. ”Young man, how would you like to own a private yacht?”

Hearing the words ”private yacht,” Zhao Rong’s eyes widened. He immediately imagined scenes from Hollywood blockbusters, with handsome men and beautiful women sailing the high seas on private yachts worth billions. He looked at the chairman in disbelief. ”Chairman, are you really giving me a private yacht?”

The chairman nodded with a smile and placed the key in Zhao Rong’s hand. He then snapped his fingers at his secretary. ”Cang Moukong, show Zhao Rong the brochure and photos of the yacht.”

Cang Moukong came forward with a brochure and blueprints for a high-end yacht. ”Sir,” she said to Zhao Rong, ”this is a top-of-the-line, French-made, luxury private yacht. This private yacht isn’t just luxurious, it’s also extremely durable. You can sail it across the Atlantic or even the Pacific Ocean.”

Hearing that the yacht was so incredible, Zhao Rong was left speechless, his mouth agape. After a long pause, he finally said, ”Chairman, the items you’ve given me today are worth billions. You’ve truly spared no expense.”

The chairman chuckled and patted Zhao Rong’s shoulder. ”Zhao Rong, you’re a great guy. Ever since you joined the company, our profits have improved year after year. The value you’ve created for us far exceeds a few billion, so you’ve earned every bit of this.”

Zhao Rong tried to hand the key back. ”I’m hardly worthy of such an extravagant gift…”

The chairman pushed the key back into Zhao Rong’s pocket. He then gestured to the three women behind him. ”Zhao Rong, take the key. In the future, I may have to send you overseas to handle some impossible missions. For a super-bodyguard like yourself, having a private yacht is an absolute necessity.”

With that, Zhao Rong had no choice but to accept the yacht. He thanked the chairman profusely. ”Chairman, I’m truly grateful. From now on, whatever you need, just give the word.”

The chairman gave him a sly, mysterious grin. ”Once you complete your current mission, there will be another special task waiting for you. It’s not only extremely important but also incredibly difficult…”

Hearing that a new mission was imminent, Zhao Rong felt a thrill of anticipation. ”Chairman, where will this next mission be?”

When the chairman told him what the new mission entailed, Zhao Rong was utterly dumbfounded. He never could have imagined his next task would be something like this. It completely shattered his worldview.
