Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When Xue Lianmei discovered that her eyes had become smaller, she immediately questioned Zhao Rong. ”Brother Zhao Rong,” she said, ”why do the products that Lili and Yu Lan bought work so well, while the one I bought had the opposite effect?”

When Zhao Rong saw that Xue Lianmei’s already small eyes had become even smaller, he was astonished. ”No way,” he said. ”The products from Paradise Shopping Cart are supposed to be genuine. Could you have accidentally bought a counterfeit?”

With that, Zhao Rong immediately opened the app on his phone and filed a complaint with the vendor. After submitting it, he comforted Xue Lianmei. ”Don’t worry, and don’t be scared. The vendor will handle this soon...”

Before he could even finish speaking, he received a reply. A private message from the vendor popped up. ”Sir, my apologies, we sent the wrong product...” it read. ”We were supposed to send you the Eye-Enlarging Cream, but we mistakenly sent the Eye-Reducing Cream...”

Hearing about an ”Eye-Reducing Cream,” Zhao Rong was puzzled. ”What in the world?” he asked. ”Is there really someone out there who thinks their eyes are too big and wants to make them smaller?”

Zhao Rong found it unbelievable. Everyone frets about having small eyes that lack beauty and luster. Who would possibly complain about their eyes being too big?

However, to his surprise, the vendor provided an example. ”Sir, you’d be surprised. Apart from you East Asians who like big eyes, Westerners generally don’t. They prefer eyes like Beckham’s—not too big, not too small, just right. So, many Westerners buy Eye-Reducing Cream from our Paradise Shopping Cart to make their large eyes a bit smaller. They think it looks more perfect, more beautiful...”

Hearing the vendor’s explanation, Zhao Rong was completely taken aback. He never would have thought there were actually people in the world who disliked their big eyes so much they would buy a special cream just to make them smaller.

”Alright,” Zhao Rong typed back to the vendor. ”Since you sent the wrong product, hurry up and send us the correct Eye-Enlarging Cream.”

The vendor reassured him, ”Sir, please rest assured, I will ship it right now. And please, please don’t give us a bad review...” With that, the vendor immediately shipped the correct product.

After closing his phone, Zhao Rong explained what had just happened to Xue Lianmei. When she heard the vendor had sent the wrong item, she was furious. ”That vendor is so careless! I’m definitely going to complain...”

But before she could finish her sentence, a massive eagle suddenly appeared in the sky.

Seeing the eagle, Xue Lianmei grew frightened. ”Oh my god, what is that thing? It’s not going to snatch us away, is it?”

Zhao Rong stepped forward to comfort her. ”Xue Lianmei, don’t be scared. Your delivery has arrived...”

Just as he spoke, the enormous eagle swooped down from the sky and landed right in front of Zhao Rong and the three women.

Xue Lianmei stared at the eagle and recoiled. ”Whoa... People talk about birds and beasts, but this is the first time I’ve seen a real bird of prey up close! It’s shocking, frightening... my heart is pounding...”

Lili hid behind Zhao Rong in fear. ”That eagle looks so fierce,” she said nervously. ”It’s not going to grab us and eat us, is it?”

Yu Lan, in disbelief, asked Zhao Rong, ”The couriers from Paradise Shopping Cart are something else. They even managed to get an eagle...”

Meanwhile, the assistant quietly took out his phone, snapped a photo of the eagle, and posted it to his social media. ”I’ve lived this long, and this is the first time I’ve ever seen an eagle this big,” he wrote. ”This completely shatters my worldview...”

As everyone was marveling at the eagle, it suddenly spoke. It stamped its feet, cleared its throat, and then said gently, ”Please don’t be afraid. Although I look intimidating and am a bird of prey, I don’t harm people. My job is simply to be a courier.”

When the group heard the eagle talk, they were so shocked they all stumbled and fell to the ground.

Xue Lianmei looked at the eagle, her eyes wide with disbelief. ”Holy crap, you can actually talk!”

The eagle gently explained to her, ”I am actually a magical beast eagle from the Demon Beast Mountain. I currently work for the Paradise Shopping Cart website, which is why I can speak human language.”

Hearing that the eagle was from the Demon Beast Mountain, the assistant became wary. ”Are you kidding me? You’re actually a magical beast?”

Zhao Rong reassured him, ”Don’t be nervous. Even among magical beasts, there are good and bad ones. It’s obvious this magical beast eagle is one of the good ones.”

At this point, the eagle took out the Eye-Enlarging Cream that Xue Lianmei had bought and handed it to her. ”Hello, this is the Eye-Enlarging Cream you bought from Paradise Shopping Cart. Please sign for it. Additionally, because our website previously sent the wrong item, this purchase is free of charge as compensation.”

Hearing the word ”free,” Xue Lianmei was delighted. ”Honestly, I was about to file a complaint. But since you’re making it free, I’ll let you off the hook this time. Not only will I not complain, but I’ll even give you a positive review!”

At her words, the eagle was elated. ”Thank you for your support. In the future, if you need anything, you can request me as your dedicated courier.”

With that, the eagle spread its wings and flew away, leaving Zhao Rong and his group behind.

As soon as Xue Lianmei got the Eye-Enlarging Cream, she couldn’t wait to apply it. The moment she did, something magical happened. Her previously small eyes instantly became large and beautiful. With her oval face now framed by two large eyes, she was so perfect it was breathtaking.

Looking at Xue Lianmei’s big eyes, Zhao Rong said with affection, ”Xue Lianmei, now that your eyes are bigger, I think you look even more beautiful and enchanting.”

The assistant, also observing her, remarked, ”Xue Lianmei, the more I look at you, the more I think you resemble that famous actress, Fan Bingbing...”

Hearing the assistant say she looked like a star, Xue Lianmei beamed. ”Fan Bingbing is my idol! To look like her would be a tremendous honor.”

At that moment, all three women had been transformed. Lili, after buying the leg-slimming stockings, saw her once-thick legs become slender and long. Yu Lan, after using the face-slimming mask, saw her slightly chubby, baby-faced cheeks transform into a perfect, slender oval. And Xue Lianmei, after using the Eye-Enlarging Cream, saw her once-small eyes become large and gorgeous. Compared to before, the three were more confident, more beautiful, and more captivating.

Watching all this, Zhao Rong felt a special kind of happiness. To him, the greatest joy was doing good deeds that made others happy.

When the assistant saw how beautiful the three ladies had become, he was suddenly inspired. He racked his brain for a moment before turning to Zhao Rong. ”Brother Zhao Rong, I want to buy something from Paradise Shopping Cart, too...”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong smiled and said, ”Go ahead, get whatever you like.” He unlocked his phone and handed it to the assistant.

When the assistant got the phone, he immediately opened the Paradise Shopping Cart app and, in the search bar, typed the words ”enlarge and thicken”...

The women standing behind him saw that he was about to buy some kind of male enhancement product and immediately reminded Zhao Rong, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you still haven’t given him that medicine you bought online to reduce his libido!”

Realization dawned on Zhao Rong. He quickly took out the medicine he’d purchased from Paradise Shopping Cart and put it in the assistant’s hand. ”Assistant, this is to help reduce your libido. Take it now.”

Taking the medicine, the assistant looked extremely reluctant. ”Actually, I can control myself just fine... Can I please not take this?”

Before he could finish speaking, the three women rushed him. Yu Lan grabbed him from behind and held him fast. Xue Lianmei pinched his nose and pried his mouth open. The remaining Lili tossed the pill into his mouth and immediately made him chug a bottle of mineral water.

”Mission accomplished,” the three sighed in relief. ”The ticking time bomb in our midst has finally been defused. From now on, we won’t have to worry about this guy leading Brother Zhao Rong astray.”

But after the assistant swallowed the pill, he felt a wave of heat surge through his body. While starting to strip off his clothes, he looked at the three women before him. ”Excuse me, ladies,” he said, ”are you sure the pill you gave me was to *reduce* my libido... and not to *increase* it?”

The three women exchanged dumbfounded glances.

Lili looked at the assistant suspiciously. ”Logically, after taking a libido-reducing medicine, you should become calm and desireless. But why are you so hot that you’re taking your clothes off?”

Seeing the assistant’s flushed face, Yu Lan frowned. ”Assistant, don’t tell me we actually gave you the wrong medicine...”

Xue Lianmei turned to Zhao Rong and asked seriously, ”Brother Zhao Rong, are you sure the medicine you gave him was to reduce his libido and not some kind of aphrodisiac?”

Zhao Rong shook his head firmly. ”Of course it was the libido-reducer. Definitely not an aphrodisiac...”

But before he could finish, his eyes fell upon a pill on the ground—it was the very pill he had just bought online to reduce the assistant’s libido.

If the medicine he bought hadn’t been given to the assistant... then what exactly had the three women forced him to swallow?
