Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

The president immediately announced from the podium, ”Our school’s janitor, the student we know as the assistant, is hereby appointed as the dormitory manager for all the women’s residence halls at Xijing University…”

When Zhao Rong, who was standing nearby, heard the president appoint the assistant as the manager for the women’s dorms, he looked at him in surprise. ”President, didn’t you say you were planning to put the assistant in charge of the janitorial contract for all the toilets and academic buildings at Xijing University? Why the sudden change to dormitory manager for the women’s halls?”

The president looked at Zhao Rong and said with a smile, ”After thinking it over, I decided the assistant is better suited as a friend to the ladies. So, I appointed him manager of the women’s dorms.”

When the assistant, down below the stage, heard the president appoint him as the manager of the women’s dormitories, he was stunned for a moment, then his face lit up with joy.

”Damn! To have one true confidant in life is enough. In this world, the person who understands me best, besides Big Brother Zhao Rong, is the president!”

With that, the assistant eagerly trotted up to the podium, ready to accept his glorious new mission.

When Lili, standing nearby, heard the president appoint the assistant as the dormitory manager for the women’s halls, she immediately spoke up for him. ”President, for better or worse, the assistant is part of our team. One by one, we’ve all been appointed as president and vice presidents. Why not give the assistant some kind of official position?”

Xuelian also chimed in, though only in her thoughts. The assistant might be a lecher who loves taking petty advantages, but overall, he’s a good person. If you treat him so differently, President, I’m afraid he’ll burst into tears when he comes up here.

Even Yu Lan, who usually despised the assistant, spoke up for him. ”President, you really should consider making the assistant a dean or a professor.”

Wang Meili looked at the assistant making his way to the stage and said with pity, ”Assistant, when you get up here and see the gap between our positions and yours, please try not to cry…”

Hearing the beautiful women’s concerns, the president chuckled. ”Ladies, don’t you worry. Once the assistant gets up here, not only will he not cry, but he’ll also thank me.”

At that moment, the assistant arrived on stage, his mood as bright as a spring day. He looked at the president and said happily, ”President, thank you for making me the dormitory manager for the women’s halls! To be honest, a job like this has always been my dream.”

When the beautiful women heard that the assistant’s dream job was to be a dorm manager, they were so shocked they stumbled and fell to the ground.

Miss Lili scrambled up, asking, ”Assistant, you really don’t want to be a professor? You’d rather be a dormitory manager?”

Fantasizing about his future, the assistant replied to Miss Lili, ”A professor by day, but at night… what’s so great about that? It’s much better to be the manager of the women’s dorms. Every summer, I’ll get to enjoy the sight of beautiful girls in their revealing outfits, showing off their lovely legs as they walk by… now that’s a real treat.” As he spoke, he couldn’t help but lick his lips.

Upon hearing this, Miss Lili, who had just managed to get back on her feet, fell over in shock again.

The beautiful Xuelian stood up and dusted herself off. ”Assistant, I just don’t get it. What’s so appealing about being a dorm manager that it makes you happier than being a dean?”

At the mention of it, the assistant dismissed the position of dean with utter contempt. ”What’s so great about being a dean? You just spend all day staring at beautiful teachers, unable to do a thing. It’s much better to be a manager for the women’s dorms. Every night before bed, I can even do room checks, taking inventory of all the girls who’ve taken off their clothes and are tucked away in their quilts…”

Saying this, the assistant couldn’t help but let out a lewd laugh.

Seeing how ecstatic the assistant was, Zhao Rong drew in a sharp breath and warned the president, ”President, you’re a bold man. Aren’t you afraid something will happen if you put a lecher like him in charge of the women’s dorms?”

Hearing Zhao Rong’s words, the president just laughed. ”Zhao Rong, I’m flying to Ukraine tomorrow. Whether or not any incidents occur with the assistant as the dorm manager will no longer be my concern.” With that, the president simply laughed it off.

After holding a university-wide assembly to announce Zhao Rong’s title as president, the shadowy president then urgently convened a shareholders’ meeting, where he promptly transferred one hundred percent of the university’s shares to Zhao Rong.

On the third day, after the shadowy president boarded a flight to Kyiv, Ukraine, Zhao Rong officially took office. Now, Zhao Rong was not only the president of a prestigious university in Xijing City but also its largest shareholder. He had completed the ultimate comeback story: from a security guard to a university president.

He couldn’t help but reflect on his series of achievements since crossing over to this parallel world from Earth. First, by a strange twist of fate, he had joined a company dedicated to pursuing women and become one of its agents. Then, he entered the Aristocrat Manager Training Center and became Miss Lili’s bodyguard. Afterward, serving as the bodyguard for three beauties—Miss Lili, Yu Lan, and Xuelian—he entered the True Martial Sect to begin his cultivation. Within the sect, Zhao Rong rose from the lowest-level cultivator to the position of Sect Leader. Following that, he accompanied the three women to Xijing University, the most awesome school in the city. He started as a lowly security guard, and through constant struggle, he had now become not only the president of Xijing University but also its majority shareholder. It was safe to say that Zhao Rong was a classic example of a man with positive energy who fought his way up from a nobody to a somebody.

And so, Zhao Rong began his tenure as the president of Xijing University, leading the four beautiful vice presidents—Miss Lili, Xuelian, Yu Lan, and Wang Meili—in managing the institution. His assistant, meanwhile, happily put down roots in the women’s dormitory building as a cheerful building supervisor.

Just as Zhao Rong was thinking he could finally live a carefree life, Miss Lili’s father, the chairman, suddenly arrived at Xijing University with his motorcade. Although Zhao Rong was now the Sect Leader of the True Martial Sect and the president of Xijing University, he still had another identity: the top-tier bodyguard hired by the chairman, with a multi-million-dollar annual salary.

When Zhao Rong saw the chairman’s motorcade arrive, he immediately led his vice presidents down to greet him.

As the chairman stepped out of his car, he immediately congratulated Zhao Rong. ”Zhao Rong, congratulations! You’ve only been at Xijing University a short time, and you’ve already worked your way up to the presidency. You’re an inspiration to us all.”

Zhao Rong replied modestly, ”You flatter me, Chairman. It’s all thanks to your guidance. Without it, a humble security guard like me would never have become the president of Xijing University.”

Hearing this, the chairman revealed he had a new task for him. ”Zhao Rong, our family has a tradition. After undergoing manager training and getting some polish at Xijing University, all family descendants must attend the most famous ghost-hunting school in Xijing City, the Wang Family Village Ghost Hunting Academy, to learn how to catch ghosts.”

Zhao Rong was baffled to hear that the chairman now intended to send the three beauties—Miss Lili, Xuelian, and Yu Lan—to the Wang Family Village Ghost Hunting Academy to learn ghost catching. His eyes went wide as he stared at the chairman. ”Chairman, does becoming a corporate successor really require learning how to catch ghosts?”

Facing Zhao Rong’s confusion, the chairman stated firmly, ”It’s absolutely necessary. Think about the geometry and algebra you studied in school. Do you use them in your daily life? Not really, but you still had to learn them. It’s the same principle. Even though ghost catching is rarely used in the corporate world, it’s still a required skill.”

Zhao Rong finally understood. He looked at the chairman and said, ”So, for the next mission, you’re planning to send the three ladies to the Wang Family Village Ghost Hunting Academy and want me to continue serving as your daughter’s bodyguard?”

Seeing that Zhao Rong had caught on, the chairman clapped him happily on the shoulder. ”Zhao Rong, you truly are a top-tier bodyguard. You figured it out before I even said a word.”

Hearing that he was indeed being sent to the Ghost Hunting Academy, Zhao Rong asked curiously, ”Chairman, what identity should I assume to enter the Wang Family Village Ghost Hunting Academy and protect the three ladies?”

At this, the chairman immediately instructed his secretary standing behind him. ”Secretary Cangjing, quickly bring over the Taoist robe I prepared for Zhao Rong.”

Secretary Cangjing immediately bent at the waist and handed an ancient-looking, ghost-catching Taoist robe to the chairman. When Zhao Rong saw Secretary Cangjing bending over, her ample bosom on display, he couldn’t help but feel a pang of envy. The chairman is a lucky man, having such a beautiful secretary by his side.

While Zhao Rong was lost in thought, the chairman draped the Taoist robe over his shoulders. ”Zhao Rong, we are going to fashion you into the identity of a young ghost catcher from Zhongnan Mountain. You’ll enter the Ghost Hunting Academy alongside my daughter.”

After Zhao Rong put on the ghost-catching robe, he found that it fit him surprisingly well. ”Chairman, where did you get this robe? How does it fit so perfectly?”

The chairman explained, ”A while ago, a tomb robber came to see me. He said he had unearthed a ghost catcher’s Taoist robe from a thousand-year-old tomb on Zhongnan Mountain, so I bought it from him.”

Hearing that the robe he was wearing had been stripped from a corpse, Zhao Rong felt a sudden chill. ”Chairman, making me wear a dead person’s clothes… isn’t that a bit much?”

Sensing Zhao Rong’s aversion, the chairman explained, ”They say wearing the clothes of the dead wards off evil. You shouldn’t be so quick to dismiss it. Who knows, this robe from a Zhongnan Mountain ghost catcher might even bring you good luck.”

Hearing that a dead man’s clothes could bring good luck, Zhao Rong said skeptically, ”Is it really that mystical?”

As soon as the words left his mouth, Zhao Rong suddenly felt a magical sensation spread through him the moment he put on the ghost catcher’s robe from Zhongnan Mountain…
