Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Facing Vice Principal Wang’s powerful punch, Zhao Rong simply shook his head, not even bothering to dodge. He extended his right hand, caught the fist, and with a series of quick motions, pinched, twisted, and wrenched it. With the pinch, he shattered the bones in the vice principal’s fist. With the twist, he broke his arm. With the wrench, he dislocated his shoulder.

In an instant, Vice Principal Wang was on the ground, clutching his left fist, arm, and shoulder. Wailing in agony, he cried, ”You can’t judge a book by its cover! This security guard is a hidden martial arts master. Otherwise, there’s no way he could have fractured my fist, arm, and shoulder one after another...”

Zhao Rong then leaped onto the stage, pointed at the other two vice principals, and said, ”Who else has a problem? Step right up.”

Hearing this, the remaining Vice Principals Li and Liu turned tail and fled in terror.

Just as Zhao Rong started to walk across the stage, a short man leaped out from the crowd and jumped onto the platform. ”Hey, security guard,” he said dismissively, ”I know you’re a cultivator, so your little fight with Vice Principal Wang doesn’t count.”

Seeing the man before him, Zhao Rong smiled faintly. ”What? Are you challenging me to a fight?”

The short man sized Zhao Rong up and said disdainfully, ”I’ve already sensed it. You’re just a Level 10 cultivator, yet you dream of becoming the president of Xijing University? If a Level 10 security guard like you can become the president, then wouldn’t I, a Level 15 cultivator, be an even better fit for the job?”

With that, the short man struck an arrogant pose, ready for a fight.

Looking at him, Zhao Rong advised him in good faith, ”Friend, I have to tell you, you’ve misjudged the situation. I’m not a Level 10 cultivator; I’m a Level 27 cultivator. I don’t want to hurt anyone, so please, show a little respect.”

Hearing this, the short man burst out laughing. ”Little security guard, I know you’re just bluffing, trying to intimidate me! Don’t think you can deceive my Eyes of Golden Flame. You’re just a Level 10 cultivator! If you have the guts, come and hit me!”

Hearing the man actually ask for a beating, Zhao Rong shrugged, sighed, and said, ”I’ve met some shameless men in my time, but I’ve never seen one so shameless that he actually asks to be hit.”

The short man waved his hands in the air, posing like a grandmaster, and said pretentiously, ”Little security guard, I, Shorty, am a master of the defensive counterattack. The moment someone hits me is the moment I catch them off guard and win with a single move! So, go on, little security guard! Hit me! Hit me! Hit me!”

Zhao Rong looked at the man’s despicable expression, listened to his despicable voice, and saw his despicable face. He couldn’t stand it any longer and roared, ”Mysterious Rank Advanced Martial Technique, Mountain Across Punch!”

With that, Zhao Rong threw a punch that landed squarely on the short man’s stomach. However, the moment his fist connected, he realized his mistake. He had been careless and forgotten that the Mountain Across Punch required an intermediary to unleash its full power.

At that moment, a smirking man standing behind the short man was craning his neck to watch the action on stage. While stretching his neck, he cheered for his companion, ”Shorty, I know that security guard is no match for you! You can definitely kill him...”

But before the smirking man could finish his sentence, he suddenly felt an extremely powerful punch infused with Inch Force strike his stomach. Before he could even register what had happened, let alone feel any pain, he was sent flying into the sky. He soared out of the athletic field, over the school walls, and toward the nearby highway.

Back on the stage, the short man felt nothing at all when Zhao Rong’s punch landed on his stomach. He laughed arrogantly and said, ”Little security guard, Vice Principal Wang was right! You really are pathetically weak. That punch of yours didn’t hurt one damned bit!”

He then turned to shout for his accomplice behind him. ”Smiling Tiger, what are you waiting for? This little security guard is a total rookie! Get up here and help me kill him! Then, we two brothers can be the president and vice president of Xijing University!”

But no matter how much the short man yelled for his helper, there was no response.

Zhao Rong, seeing the smirking man he had sent flying, reminded him, ”Stop shouting. There’s been an accident on the highway. Your accomplice was hit by a truck and killed.”

It turned out that the smirking man, launched by the Mountain Across Punch, had landed directly on the highway. Just as he touched down, a heavy-duty Shaanxi truck hauling pipes happened to pass by. The truck couldn’t brake in time and ground the smirking man into meat paste.

Hearing Zhao Rong’s words, the short man roared with laughter. ”Little security guard, do you think I have the intelligence of a three-year-old? My accomplice was standing right behind me a second ago. How could he suddenly fly five kilometers away and end up on the highway?”

In response, Zhao Rong casually grabbed a sleazy-looking professor from the crowd and positioned him between himself and the short man. Assuming a horse stance, Zhao Rong focused the power from his Dantian and said, ”So you don’t believe your helper could get from the school to the highway in an instant?”

The short man nodded. ”Of course not! Only a complete idiot would believe that someone could get from a school to a highway in such a short amount of time.”

Zhao Rong chuckled. ”Well then, allow me to demonstrate how to make a person fly from this stage to the highway in under ten seconds. I’ll make you believe that miracles can happen.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Zhao Rong roared, ”Mysterious Rank Advanced Martial Technique, Mountain Across Punch!” Then he threw a heavy punch right into the sleazy professor’s stomach.

Meanwhile, the short man stood with his hands on his hips, saying disdainfully, ”Little security guard Zhao Rong, if you can make a person fly from the school to the highway in three seconds, then I, Shorty, will walk right out into the road and get run over.”

He hadn’t even finished his sentence when he felt a sudden blast of wind hit his stomach, followed by a direct impact of Inch Force on his body. Before he could even react, the short man was launched into the air, flying toward the highway five kilometers away.

As he soared through the air, he sputtered in disbelief, ”Damn it! I thought this security guard might know some kung fu, that he might be a cultivator... but I never imagined this kid would be at least a Level 50 cultivator! Otherwise, he wouldn’t have this kind of power! And to think he could hit me through another person and send me flying this far...”

Before he could finish his thought, he landed squarely on the highway.

At that moment, two hundred meters away, a heavy-duty Shaanxi truck carrying huge concrete rolls sped toward him. Seeing the truck barreling down on him, the short man was so terrified he wet himself, screaming, ”Stop! Stop the truck!”

Fortunately, the driver had quick reflexes, and the truck’s brakes were excellent. It screeched to a halt at the last possible moment, just before hitting him. When the short man saw the truck stop safely right in front of him, he clutched his heart, a wave of relief washing over him.

Fate hasn’t abandoned me! Even after falling onto a highway, I wasn’t killed. What incredible luck...

But before he could finish his thought, there was a problem. The truck was hauling huge concrete rolls for sewage pipes. Although the truck itself had stopped, inertia sent the massive rolls tumbling forward. They crashed down from the truck bed and smashed the short man on the spot, turning him into pulp.

The truck driver climbed down from his cab. He looked at the concrete rolls scattered across the ground, then at the man crushed beneath them. He slapped himself across the face and began to cry. ”The old-timers always say, ’Starve before you haul pipes, die poor before you carry rolls.’ Why didn’t I listen to them? Why did I have to be a show-off and haul these rolls? Now look what’s happened! The truck didn’t kill him, but the cargo fell and crushed him! What am I going to do? It’s true what they say: if you don’t listen to your elders, you’ll suffer for it...”

Standing on the stage, Zhao Rong used his Piercing Eye to watch the scene unfold on the highway five kilometers away. He shook his head and said with a note of pity, ”He really brought this on himself. If you hadn’t been showing off, acting tough, and provoking me, perhaps you’d still be alive.”

When the surrounding teachers and students saw the security guard on the stage send a man flying with a single punch, Fengfeng was so shocked his jaw dropped.

An old professor gave Zhao Rong a thumbs-up and said admiringly, ”In this new era, only someone like Zhao Rong—a man with Special Abilities, who stands out from the crowd, a master of a single, unbeatable skill—is worthy of being the president of our Xijing University!” With that, the old professor jumped onto the stage and declared, ”I support Zhao Rong to be the president of our Xijing University!”

Then, a revered academician also stood up. He stroked his graying beard and said in a voice full of admiration, ”Our Xijing University needs someone exactly like this security guard, someone who possesses divine skills and supernatural power. Therefore, I, an esteemed academician, support this young security guard to be the president of Xijing University!”

When everyone saw that the two most authoritative and influential people in the school had stood up to endorse Zhao Rong, a mere security guard, for the presidency, the rest of the attendees had nothing more to say. One by one, they stood and voiced their support for Zhao Rong to be the new president of Xijing University.

Standing in the crowd, the assistant began to do a striptease, shouting his support for Zhao Rong. ”Brother Zhao Rong, as your loyal follower, I one hundred percent support you as the president of Xijing University!”

Since the Ghost President announced Zhao Rong as president, with Lili, Xuelian, Yu Lan, and Wang Meili as vice presidents, then I, as his assistant, should at least get to be a professor or a dean, right?

Just then, the Ghost President walked up to the microphone. He looked down at the assistant in the crowd and solemnly announced, ”I would now like to make an announcement. There is a janitor in our school who is hardworking, diligent, and does excellent work. Therefore, I hereby appoint this janitor to be the school’s...”

Before the president could finish, the assistant started walking toward the stage, telling the students around him, ”You don’t have to wait for him to finish. I’ll tell you now, the president is definitely going to announce me as a new professor or dean!”

However, when the president announced the assistant’s new position, everyone present was utterly stunned.
