Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Upon hearing this, the Black Ghost Principal thought for a moment and said, ”Originally, I wanted my assistant to become an associate professor. However, that day, when Miss Lili and my assistant were performing an out-of-body experience and a Soul Transfer, my assistant’s soul was suddenly transferred into a cockroach. This can severely impact a person’s intelligence. So, I was afraid that if he became an associate professor, he wouldn’t just be unable to handle the job, but he’d also be ridiculed by everyone around him. It’s better to let him do something he has a knack for than to have him mocked and teased all day.”

Zhao Rong sighed. Assistant, you’d better prepare yourself. When the Black Ghost Principal announces your new position at tomorrow’s student-faculty assembly, don’t be surprised, and definitely don’t get angry...

「Early the next morning」

Xijing University held a grand student-faculty assembly. On the vast sports grounds, all the students, teachers, professors, and even Nobel laureates of the prestigious university had gathered. The Black Ghost Principal, accompanied by several vice principals, strode confidently to the podium. Zhao Rong, as the principal’s successor, was seated in a very conspicuous spot on the main stage.

After the assembly began and the Black Ghost Principal took the stage to speak, the students in the crowd noticed Zhao Rong, a mere security guard, sitting on the dignified main stage. They immediately began whispering amongst themselves.

A student with dark skin and glasses, who liked to pretend he knew everything, said scornfully, ”The main stage at our school is reserved for important figures—principals, professors, or winners of major awards. What right does this security guard, Zhao Rong, have to be sitting up there?”

A male student with severe halitosis who enjoyed breathing on his female classmates added with contempt, ”What’s that security guard doing on the main stage? He’s a complete eyesore...”

Another student, who drank himself into a stupor every night, yelled directly at the stage, ”Hey, security guard! Get the hell down from there! Who the hell do you think you are, sitting on the main stage?”

Following their lead, a group of nearby students began to boo. They jeered at Zhao Rong, mocking and scorning him.

Just then, the Black Ghost Principal suddenly dropped a bombshell. He cleared his throat, pointed to the security guard seated not far behind him, and addressed the entire student body and faculty. ”I now declare that as of tomorrow morning, Xijing University has its new principal...”

When the faculty and students heard that a new leadership team was being appointed, they all turned to look at the vice principals standing behind the current principal. However, to everyone’s surprise, the Black Ghost Principal announced, ”The members of Xijing University’s next leadership team are as follows...”

With that, the Black Ghost Principal pointed to Zhao Rong, who was still in his security guard uniform, and said, ”I hereby announce that the next principal of Xijing University is the man behind me, Mr. Zhao Rong! Please, give him a warm round of applause!”

When the assembled faculty and students heard that Zhao Rong, a man who had been a security guard at the school, was making a meteoric rise to become the principal, they were utterly dumbfounded. The vice principals behind the Black Ghost Principal, who had all been preparing to take over, were even more shocked. Upon hearing they had been passed over in favor of a security guard, they were so stunned they fell right out of their chairs.

Vice Principal Wang, who had assumed he would become the principal, widened his eyes and sputtered, ”How can a security guard become the principal? Isn’t this an insult to the reputation of Xijing University?”

Vice Principal Li, who had felt very confident about his chances, stared at the young, fresh-faced Zhao Rong in his security uniform and exclaimed, ”Make this security guard the principal? I, for one, refuse to accept this!” With that, he pulled a dagger from his waist, held it to his own throat, and threatened, ”Principal, if you insist on making this security guard the official principal instead of one of us, I will die right here in front of you!”

Just as Vice Principal Li finished, Vice Principal Liu stood up and pulled a grenade from his pocket. Holding the grenade in one hand and the pin in the other, he said, ”Principal, making a security guard the principal is completely perverse! I’ll give you three minutes. If you don’t appoint one of us three, I will detonate this grenade right in front of you!”

Seeing Vice Principal Liu about to pull the pin, the terrified Vice Principals Wang and Li immediately scrambled to a safe distance.

Watching all this unfold, Zhao Rong wiped the cold sweat from his brow and whispered to the Black Ghost Principal, ”Principal, maybe we should just forget it. If my appointment causes people to die, that would be terrible...”

When the Black Ghost Principal saw Zhao Rong willingly yield the position, he immediately exposed the vice principals’ ruse. ”Zhao Rong,” he said, ”don’t fall for it. The dagger and grenade those two posers are holding are fakes.

”Those two posers and I go way back to when we were young. One of them liked to peep on girls bathing, and the other liked to hide in sewers to take upskirt photos. I know those two degenerates like the back of my hand. When I first became principal, those two couldn’t even have become counselors, let alone vice principals. But ever since that Toad Spirit took over as principal, he’s committed every evil imaginable and turned everything upside down. He promoted people with poor character, poor grades, and poor morals. And these three vice principals... each one is worse than the last.”

When Zhao Rong heard how despicable these three were, he immediately said, ”Allowing people like that to remain in school leadership is purely harmful with no benefit whatsoever!”

The Black Ghost Principal nodded. ”Exactly. That’s why I’m making you the principal. Once you’re in charge, you must deal with those three properly.”

Ignoring the three vice principals’ threats, the Black Ghost Principal invited Zhao Rong onto the podium. He placed a doctoral cap on Zhao Rong’s head and helped him into the principal’s uniform. Next, the principal handed over the official seal of Xijing University, various documents, and all related legal deeds. With lawyers and other relevant authorities certifying the transfer, Zhao Rong officially and legitimately became the new principal of Xijing University.

After announcing the new principal, the Black Ghost Principal moved on to the vice principals. He invited Miss Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, and Wang Meili from the audience up to the stage. ”And now,” he announced to the crowd, ”I declare that our school’s new vice principals will be these four young women: Miss Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, and Wang Meili! Please welcome them!”

When the students and faculty heard that the school’s vice principals would be these four beauties, the girls in the audience booed in disapproval. The boys, on the other hand, cheered wildly, clapping and celebrating.

A student who loved watching ”films” and fantasized about starring in one himself jumped up and down, yelling, ”The principal is a genius! He finally got rid of the three ugly guys and gave us four beautiful women!”

Another student, who was known to indulge himself up to ten times a day to the point of exhaustion, cheered, ”The principal’s decision is perfect! With these four beauties as vice principals, I bet even the delinquents who hate studying will settle down and hit the books!”

A paranoid student who was constantly worried he had an STD grinned from ear to ear. ”I love the idea of beautiful vice principals! If anyone disagrees with their appointment, they’ll have to go through me!”

When the four women heard the announcement, Lili immediately hugged Xuelian with joy. Yu Lan excitedly hugged her classmate Wang Meili. Then, all four of them shared a group hug before linking arms and walking onto the main stage.

Once the four beauties were on the stage, the Black Ghost Principal turned to the three disgraced vice principals—Vice Principal Liu, who was holding the grenade; Vice Principal Li, who had a dagger to his throat; and Vice Principal Wang, who had nominated himself—and yelled, ”You three ugly men, get over here now!”

The three men reluctantly shuffled over.

When they were in front of him, the Black Ghost Principal snatched the grenade from Vice Principal Liu’s hand. ”Please,” he said, ”next time you want to threaten me, could you at least use a real grenade? Don’t stand here posturing with a cheap toy.” With that, he threw the toy grenade to the ground and crushed it with his foot.

Then, he snatched the dagger from Vice Principal Li’s hand. ”Little Li,” he sneered, ”when you were young, you spent your days peeping on girls in their dorms. Now that you’re old, you think you can posture in front of me with a plastic dagger? Do you really think I’m that easy to fool?” As he spoke, the Black Ghost Principal grabbed Vice Principal Li by the hair, yanked his head down, and drove his knee into Li’s face twice, knocking him unconscious on the stage.

Finally, the Black Ghost Principal looked at Vice Principal Wang, who was standing at the back. ”So you want to be the principal? Sure, no problem. As long as you can defeat this security guard, the position is yours.”

Hearing this, Vice Principal Wang’s face lit up. ”That security guard is skinny as a rail and looks completely powerless. If I can take him out, I can really become the principal?”

The Black Ghost Principal nodded. ”No problem. If you can beat him, I guarantee you’ll take my place.”

Excited, Vice Principal Wang strode over to Zhao Rong. ”Little security guard, I’m 1.8 meters tall, and you’re 1.7. I weigh 220 pounds, and you weigh 130. I’m big and beefy; you’re skin and bones. You really think I can’t beat you?”

Zhao Rong advised him, ”Vice Principal Wang, I know you’re desperate to be principal, but you shouldn’t be so reckless with your own life.”

Vice Principal Wang shoved Zhao Rong and said arrogantly, ”Who’s being reckless with their life? Looking at how scrawny you are, I’m more worried one punch from me will kill you instantly!”

Zhao Rong shrugged helplessly. ”Alright. Since you don’t care about your own safety and want to fight, then let’s do it.”

When Vice Principal Wang saw that a single shove had sent Zhao Rong stumbling back three steps, he couldn’t help but think to himself. He stumbled back three steps from just one shove? This guard is so weak, he’ll be easy to beat. I love bullying the weak and fearing the strong. Beating up guys who are shorter and thinner than me is my favorite thing to do...

With that thought, Vice Principal Wang threw a punch straight at Zhao Rong’s face.
