Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Chapter 215: Chapter 183: Accidental Discharge is Inevitable...

Upon hearing that Aliona’s sister was Christina, the wife of Mage Yizhen, the Sect Leader of the True Martial Sect, Zhao Rong exclaimed, ”Wow, what a small world! I never expected the Ukrainian beauty Mage Yizhen wooed online would turn out to be Wang Meili’s roommate and Aliona’s sister.”

So, Zhao Rong quickly replied to Aliona on WeChat, ”Of course I know Mage Yizhen. He’s my master, after all.”

As he spoke, he pushed open the door and walked into Tao Hua’s room.

Tao Hua, who was on a video call with her father, Mage Yizhen, was irritated to hear someone enter. ”Which disciple from the True Martial Sect is it this time? Such poor manners, not even knocking first. Just wait, I’ll teach you a lesson...”

Before Zhao Rong even had a chance to greet her, Tao Hua launched a flying kick at him.

It all happened in an instant. Zhao Rong caught her thigh and said, ”Tao Hua, it’s me! Why are you kicking me?”

Seeing it was Zhao Rong, whom she hadn’t seen in so long, Tao Hua was thrilled. ”Brother Zhao Rong, what are you doing here? You should have let me know you were coming! I would’ve taken a shower and gotten ready to welcome you properly.”

At her words, Zhao Rong froze. He looked down at the beautiful, fair thigh he was holding and wished he could...

He just chuckled and said, ”Tao Hua, I came alone this time. Those three beauties definitely won’t be showing up to ruin our fun. So tonight, we can enjoy ourselves to the fullest...”

Before he could finish, Tao Hua cut him off. ”Brother Zhao Rong, watch what you say! I’m on a video call with my father.”

Hearing that his master, Mage Yizhen, was on the other end of the call, Zhao Rong felt a wave of embarrassment.

Damn it, Tao Hua! Why didn’t you tell me someone else was here? I wouldn’t have said something so suggestive.

Just as Zhao Rong worried that his master had overheard his explicit words, Mage Yizhen’s voice boomed from the video feed. ”Zhao Rong, what was that you said? Something about no one disturbing you? And that you and my daughter would be enjoying yourselves...?”

Realizing his master had heard everything, Zhao Rong scrambled to change the subject. ”Master! Long time no see! You have no idea how much I, your humble disciple, have missed you.”

Hearing this, Mage Yizhen laughed. ”Kid, you might miss me, but I don’t miss you. I have the beautiful Christina to keep me company.”

With that, he pulled his wife, Christina, into the frame.

When Zhao Rong saw the average-looking, older Mage Yizhen with his arm around a young, beautiful blonde woman, he couldn’t hide his envy. ”Master, now I get why you don’t miss me. Every night, you get to... with this beautiful blonde.”

Mage Yizhen laughed proudly. ”Zhao Rong, don’t underestimate me. I may be old, but my ’skills’ are still excellent...” He then smiled at Christina and asked, ”Honey, how am I doing?”

Christina replied gently, ”At night... please spare me, my king...”

Hearing that his master, who was over fifty, was still so virile, Zhao Rong shot him a thumbs-up. ”Master, you’re truly a blade that never dulls. Impressive.”

At that moment, Zhao Rong decided to connect with Christina. ”Mistress Christina, your sister Aliona and I go to the same school. I’ll be sure to help look after her.”

When Christina heard that the security guard in front of her attended the same university in Huaxia as her sister, she said excitedly, ”Little security guard, my sister’s biggest wish right now is to find a husband in Xijing City, preferably a Huaxia man. Can you help her achieve her dream?”

If I got together with Aliona, wouldn’t that make me brothers-in-law with Master Yizhen?

Zhao Rong thought. He promptly volunteered himself. ”Mistress Christina, what do you think of me? Am I a good match for your sister Aliona?”

Before Christina could answer, Mage Yizhen spoke up. ”Zhao Rong, you greedy brat! You’re trying to bite off more than you can chew. Have you forgotten the arrangements I made when I left?”

Zhao Rong’s mind jolted. He remembered Mage Yizhen entrusting Tao Hua to him before he left. His master had even said that when Tao Hua came of legal marrying age, he hoped Zhao Rong would marry her.

”Master, I’m so sorry,” Zhao Rong said quickly. ”I forgot your instructions. Rest assured, I absolutely will not pursue Aliona.”

”Well, little security guard,” Christina said, ”since you’re not going after Aliona, could you at least introduce a boyfriend to her?”

Zhao Rong thought for a moment. ”Alright, no problem. As soon as I’m back at Xijing University, I’ll introduce my assistant to her.”

”Then on behalf of my sister, I thank you,” Christina said joyfully. She then touched her stomach and said to her husband, ”Honey, the baby’s kicking again today.”

Hearing that Christina was pregnant, Zhao Rong was filled with admiration for his master. ”Congratulations, Master! A bullseye on the first shot.”

Mage Yizhen was beaming with joy. ”Next year when we return, it won’t be just the two of us. It’ll be three, with the baby! And Tao Hua won’t be lonely anymore, because she’s getting a little brother.”

He then prepared to end the call. ”Sorry, it’s time for prenatal education. We have to do our exercises for Marco.” With that, Mage Yizhen hung up.

After the call ended, Tao Hua shook her head. ”Hmph, who knows if that baby is even my father’s. Don’t you think the timing of her pregnancy is a little... strange?”

Zhao Rong had never considered the specifics of pregnancy timelines. ”I’m sure it’s real. Technology is so advanced these days. You can tell if a child is yours with a single strand of hair for a DNA test.”

Tao Hua sighed. ”Fine, let’s not talk about my father and Christina. I just hope they’re happy.” She then turned to Zhao Rong. ”Brother Zhao Rong, why did you show up so suddenly? Did you miss me?”

Zhao Rong took her hand and looked at her tenderly. ”It’s been too long. I really did miss you.”

Using his Special Abilities, he performed an Instant Teleportation, reappearing a moment later from the mountains outside with a large bouquet of roses. He placed them in her hands. ”Tao Hua, I came empty-handed, so I brought you these.”

Seeing him conjure a bouquet of flowers out of thin air, Tao Hua’s eyes lit up. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you’re so romantic!” she exclaimed, throwing herself into his arms.

As he held her, the scent of her perfume filled his senses, and he was instantly aroused. He looked deeply into her eyes, and she looked back with equal tenderness.

Just as the mood intensified and they were about to take the next step, a challenge letter fell out of Zhao Rong’s pocket.

When Tao Hua saw it, she gasped in surprise. ”Brother Zhao Rong, are you here to fight for our True Martial Sect against Hector, the top expert of the Wild Wolf Sect?”

It turned out that before Hector had challenged Zhao Rong, he had already issued a challenge to the True Martial Sect. Since no one in the sect was a match for him, Tao Hua had been preparing to face him herself. Now, seeing the letter, she mistakenly believed Zhao Rong had returned to champion their cause.

Zhao Rong was taken aback. He looked at her and told the truth. ”No, I came to find you to help me train. I was at the Royal BBQ and beat up some arrogant guy. Turns out, he’s Hector’s cousin, so Hector sent me a challenge.”

Tao Hua simply saw his words as a noble lie. ”Brother Zhao Rong, I know you have a kind heart. You must have heard our True Martial Sect was in trouble and rushed back to lead the charge against this formidable enemy, Hector.”

Utterly confused, Zhao Rong asked, ”Tao Hua, is that Hector guy really so tough?”

Tao Hua’s expression turned grave. ”Brother Zhao Rong, Hector is hailed as the greatest prodigy the Wild Wolf Sect has produced in five hundred years. He’s a level thirty expert. To beat him, you’ll have to reach level twenty-five at the very least.”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong took a sharp breath, the pressure mounting. ”I’m only at level twenty-two. To get to level twenty-five, I’d have to jump three whole levels at once?”

Tao Hua nodded grimly. ”To face Hector, you must ascend three levels, no matter what. That’s why tonight, you have to come with me to the training cave and cultivate diligently. It’s the only way you’ll have a chance to break through to level twenty-five.”

The mention of the training cave made Zhao Rong frown. ”Wasn’t that cave destroyed by the magical beast—the armadillo—that Da Sha and Huang Mao brought in? Can we even train there anymore?”

”After you eliminated Mage Erzhen and Wang Jingang’s gang,” Tao Hua explained, ”I led the disciples of the True Martial Sect in a massive effort to repair it. So yes, we can go to the training cave and cultivate with all our might once again.”

The prospect of going to the training cave piqued Zhao Rong’s interest.

The training cave... A man and a woman alone in there... sparks are bound to fly...
