Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

With a great bellow, Zhao Rong executed his Punch Across Mountains, landing a heavy blow on his assistant’s stomach.

Standing behind the assistant was Ichiro Okamoto. When he saw Zhao Rong’s punch hit the assistant instead of himself, he immediately felt a wave of relief. Thank goodness when I said ’Gao Ben’ just now, I pronounced it clearly. Otherwise, if Zhao Rong had misheard it as ’Okamoto’ again, then I, Gao Ben, would be a dead man…

Just as Ichiro Okamoto was relishing his good fortune, he suddenly felt an immense force slam into him, as if his internal organs had been shattered. Then, he lost consciousness and flew backward. He slammed heavily against theceiling before crashing down hard onto the tiled floor.

After dealing with Ichiro Okamoto, Zhao Rong dusted off his clothes. He spat on the ground and said, ”Damn it, another pretender. I originally thought he was a Level 29 cultivator and that I was in for a good fight. Who knew he wasn’t a cultivator at all? And he has no martial arts skills to speak of. As for his so-called karate? He doesn’t even know the basics.”

However, just as everyone had dealt with the four young masters and taught Ichiro Okamoto a lesson, they were preparing to leave when Lili suddenly fainted.

Everyone rushed forward, calling her name while pinching her philtrum. ”Miss Lili, what’s wrong?”

At that moment, Lili’s previously fair and rosy complexion began to turn a sickly green, then black. In just a few moments, the once-radiant Lili had turned into a dark-skinned beauty.

Seeing Lili’s complexion change from fair to dark right before his eyes, the assistant was stunned. His mouth fell open as he stammered, ”Whoa, so Miss Lili is African? She finally revealed her true form today…”

Hearing this, Yu Lan slapped the assistant across the face. ”You’re the African! Didn’t you see the injection mark on the back of Miss Lili’s hand?”

The slap sent the assistant spinning. Just as he was about to look for the needle mark on Lili’s hand, Xuelian stepped up and delivered another resounding slap. ”A dog’s mouth can’t spit out ivory! Can’t you see that Miss Lili has been poisoned?”

Suddenly slapped by two beautiful women, the assistant saw stars. ”If Miss Lili was poisoned, you could have just told me! Why the slapping?”

He hadn’t even finished his sentence when Wang Meili also stepped forward. She punched him squarely on the nose and snapped, ”Are you blind? Can’t you see for yourself? The symptoms are so obvious! It’s clearly poison, but you had to say she was ’revealing her true form’?”

Meanwhile, Zhao Rong, seeing Lili’s poisoned state, quickly took a photo with his phone and sent it to his master, Mage Yi Zhen, who was far away in Kyiv, Ukraine. He asked what kind of poison it was and how to cure it.

Mage Yi Zhen replied almost immediately via WeChat. ”Zhao Rong, the poison this beauty has contracted is no ordinary toxin. Its name is Dawn Poison. Only the Mermaid in the sewers possesses the elixir to cure it…”

Hearing the word ”Mermaid,” especially one from the sewers, Zhao Rong furrowed his brow. He typed back to Mage Yi Zhen, ”So where are we supposed to find this peculiar Mermaid?”

Mage Yi Zhen replied, ”This Mermaid has lived for years in the sewers beneath Xi Jing University. Specifically, the sewer under the university’s secret chamber. You should be able to find him if you look there.”

Hearing that Mage Yi Zhen of the True Warrior Sect was so familiar with Xi Jing University, Zhao Rong was surprised and asked, ”Master, aren’t you with the True Warrior Sect? How do you know so much about Xi Jing University?”

In response, Mage Yi Zhen sent Zhao Rong a video. ”What I never told you,” he said, ”is that I was once a top student at Xi Jing University…”

Hearing that Mage Yi Zhen had not only graduated from Xi Jing University but was a top student, Zhao Rong’s eyes went wide. Staring at his master in the video, he exclaimed, ”Master, I never would have guessed! You’re a college graduate?”

If Mage Yi Zhen hadn’t admitted it himself, I would have always thought he was just a farmer, Zhao Rong thought.

In the video, Mage Yi Zhen put his arm around his Ukrainian wife, Christina, and said, ”If I hadn’t founded the True Warrior Sect, I might very well be the boss of a major corporation by now…”

Hearing his master start to brag again, Zhao Rong quickly brought the topic back to what mattered. ”By the way, Master, how long can Miss Lili hold on before we find the antidote?”

Mage Yi Zhen thought for a moment. ”Holding on for a few days won’t be a problem.”

”And after a few days?” Zhao Rong pressed.

”After seven days, things will get troublesome,” Mage Yi Zhen said. ”You’d better find the Mermaid within seven days and get the antidote from him.”

Zhao Rong asked, ”Is the Mermaid easy to talk to? Will it be difficult to get the antidote from him?”

Recalling his interactions with the Mermaid from his youth, Mage Yi Zhen said, ”He’s alright, pretty reasonable. But if you want to get the antidote, you must agree to one of his conditions: nourishing his yin and yang.”

The phrase ”nourishing yin and yang” immediately made Zhao Rong think of the act of love. ”What do you mean?” he asked. ”To get the antidote from the Mermaid, do I have to… sacrifice my body?”

Suddenly, Mage Yi Zhen’s voice became mysterious. ”Heavenly secrets cannot be revealed. This is something you must comprehend on your own…”

Looking at Mage Yi Zhen’s lewd grin, Zhao Rong knew that getting the antidote would require paying a certain price.

After ending the video call, Zhao Rong turned to his assistant. ”Assistant, the great task of finding the Mermaid can only fall to the two of us. Furthermore, you must shoulder the heavy burden of nourishing yin and yang with the Mermaid…”

Hearing that he was the one who would be nourishing yin and yang with a mermaid, the assistant’s mind immediately filled with images of the beautiful mermaids from television.

Mermaids are naturally top-tier, super beauties! Zhao Rong telling me to offer myself to the Mermaid… isn’t he just setting me up for a lifetime of happiness? he thought excitedly.

The assistant decisively agreed. ”No problem! When it comes to things like this, from now on, you take the fall, and I’ll face the danger!”

With that, he eagerly urged Zhao Rong, ”Saving her is the priority! Let’s hurry and find the secret chamber at Xi Jing University. Then we can go down into the sewer and find the Mermaid!”

In contrast to his assistant’s eagerness, Zhao Rong had other thoughts. Since Mage Yi Zhen was dealing with the Mermaid back when he was young, that means the Mermaid has to be quite old by now. After all, Master is already over fifty…

He couldn’t help but glance at his assistant, thinking silently, Assistant, since you’ve already agreed to nourish yin and yang with the Mermaid, then when you meet a fifty-something-year-old Mermaid… even if you weep, you’ll have to cry your way through it and see the task to the end.
