Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

At that moment, the assistant finished convulsing and suddenly stood up from the ground.

Seeing the assistant get to his feet, Zhao Rong immediately rushed forward and said nervously, ”Assistant! I gave you the wrong pill! Are you alright?”

Suddenly, the assistant froze. He spoke, but with a woman’s voice. He then rushed over, hugged Zhao Rong, kissed him on the face, and said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you saved my life! If I, Lili, had died just like that, who would have been left to bear your children?”

Watching the assistant, listening to his voice, and seeing his affected mannerisms, Zhao Rong’s eyes widened in panic. ”Assistant, could it be that Lili’s soul left her body and entered yours?”

Before Zhao Rong could finish, the person in the assistant’s body kissed him on the face again and said coquettishly, ”Brother Zhao Rong, what are you talking about? Who’s the assistant? I’m Lili…”

Looking at the man in front of him claiming to be Lili, Zhao Rong was in disbelief. He turned his head to look at the real Lili, who was lying on the bed and foaming at the mouth. But then, after she finished foaming, she suddenly sat up sharply.

Lili’s entire demeanor had changed to that of a man. She spat on the ground and said in a rough, masculine voice, ”Damn it all… I can’t believe it! My assistant finally pulled through after being poisoned by that zombie…” As she spoke, the person in Lili’s body let out a deep, manly laugh.

When Wang Meili saw that Lili had become the assistant and the assistant had become Lili, she immediately questioned Zhao Rong, ”Brother Zhao Rong, did you give them the wrong medicine? Did you mix up the Serpent Pill and the Worm Pill?”

Looking at the two of them, completely confused about who was who, Zhao Rong said, ”No way… Are the consequences of taking the wrong medicine really this severe?”

At this moment, Xuelian, who was standing next to the assistant’s body, also noticed something was off. She took his hand and looked him over. ”Lili? Are you really Lili?”

In response, the person in the assistant’s body said shyly, ”Xuelian, what are you joking about? If I’m not Lili, am I the assistant?”

Meanwhile, Yu Lan stood next to Lili’s body, watching in disgust as she spat on the ground, picked her nose, dug in her eye, grabbed her butt, and scratched her armpit. ”Lili, how has your behavior suddenly become exactly like the assistant’s? You’re not only unhygienic but also full of disgusting little habits!”

The person in Lili’s body casually wiped the snot she’d just dug from her nose onto the leg of a table and said, ”Who’s Lili? I’m obviously the assistant, alright?”

Seeing this, everyone instantly understood what had happened.

Zhao Rong nodded and licked his lips. ”It seems Lili and the assistant really did have an out-of-body experience, which resulted in a Soul Transfer…”

Wang Meili added worriedly, ”The Black Phantom was right. If you take the wrong medicine, the consequences are indeed severe…”

Just then, the person in the assistant’s body suddenly ran over to Xuelian and Yu Lan, pulling the two sisters to his side. He kissed one on the left cheek and the other on the right. ”Xuelian, Yu Lan, when I was poisoned, you two stayed by my side day and night, constantly taking care of me… I, Lili, don’t know how to ever thank you…”

Seeing her friend’s soul in the assistant’s body, Xuelian wiped away her tears and said sadly, ”The three of us were as close as sisters. We always ate together, bathed together, and slept together. But now it’s all ruined! That disgusting man is in Lili’s body. How can we possibly eat, sleep, and bathe with her anymore?”

Yu Lan also cried bitterly. ”A beautiful woman has been turned into an ugly man! Do Xuelian and I, two beauties, have to spend all our time with this ugly man now?”

At that moment, both souls finally realized something was terribly wrong with their genders.

Lili’s soul, in the assistant’s body, looked down in horror. ”Oh my God,” she cried out. ”How did I turn into the assistant?”

Meanwhile, the assistant’s soul, now in Lili’s body, looked in a mirror, touching his new chest and lower body in utter shock. ”My chest… why has it become so soft?” he shrieked. ”And where has my stick gone? How have I changed from a man into a woman?”

Just as the two were reeling in fright and helplessness, Zhao Rong stepped forward to explain. ”Lili, Assistant, I’m so sorry. This is all my fault…”

Lili’s soul, speaking from the assistant’s body, looked at Zhao Rong with confusion. ”You cured the zombie poison in my body. Why are you apologizing?”

The assistant’s soul, equally confused in Lili’s body, added, ”Brother Zhao Rong, my body had a poison, and it was completely cured after I took the Elixir you refined… Logically, we should be thanking you. Why are you apologizing to us?”

Zhao Rong felt immensely guilty for his mistake that had caused their Soul Transfer. He explained, ”It’s all my fault. I gave you both the wrong pills. I gave the Serpent Pill, which was meant for Lili, to the assistant, and the Worm Pill, which was for the assistant, to Lili…”

Upon hearing this, they both had a flash of understanding. They immediately knew why they had experienced a Soul Exchange.

Suddenly, Lili’s emotions collapsed. Her soul, trapped in the assistant’s body, sat on the ground, looked at the male physique she now inhabited, and wailed, ”How could a stunning beauty like me have her body taken over by an ugly guy like the assistant?”

At the same time, the assistant’s soul also began to sob. Crying, he pulled a disc from his pocket and said, ”The day before yesterday, I spent ten yuan to rent a new movie! I was going to secretly watch it while I… you know… But now my body is Lili’s! Without my stick, how am I supposed to… you know?”

Watching them both cry, Zhao Rong scratched the back of his head, at a loss. ”What do we do now? We have to find a way to switch their souls back…”

Wang Meili paced back and forth at the dormitory door. ”The one who tied the bell is the one who must untie it. Since the Elixirs were made with ingredients from the Black Phantom, he must have a way to reverse the Soul Exchange and return their souls to their own bodies.”

Listening to Wang Meili, Xuelian wiped her tears and pleaded, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you have to do whatever it takes to get Lili’s soul back into her own body! If we have to face the assistant in her body every day, I’m afraid I’ll eventually snap and send him to Thailand to get castrated and turned into a woman…”

Yu Lan also sobbed, ”The old Lili was so fresh and lovely, and she always had a charming scent. But now, the body occupied by the assistant’s soul not only reeks of sweat but has an unbearable body odor from his armpits…”

Just when everyone was feeling miserable, the assistant, now in Lili’s body, let out a mischievous smile. ”Well, since I’ve become Lili, why don’t I go back to the dormitory and let those bachelor janitors I live with have a little fun first…”

With those words, he chuckled and dashed for the door.

Quick as a flash, Zhao Rong lunged forward, grabbed her before she could escape, and pulled her back. ”Where do you think you’re going? Don’t run around! You have to remember, even though your soul is the assistant’s, your body is Lili’s! It’s very dangerous for a beautiful woman to be running around.”

Hearing the warning, the assistant’s soul was unfazed. ”It’s fine. I just want to head back to the dorm and let the other three starving bachelors pin me to the bed and have some fun…”

Hearing such shameless words, Xuelian stepped forward and scolded him. ”Assistant! Since your soul is in Lili’s body, you have a responsibility to her to remain pure!”

Yu Lan also stepped forward and slapped her face. ”You shameless fiend! Don’t think that just because you temporarily possess a beautiful woman’s body, you can get all eager and excited, and let people do whatever they want with you! You’re not just the assistant now; you’re also Lili!”

Listening to their accusations, the assistant’s soul nonchalantly replied, ”The bachelors in my dorm are just a little hungry. I feel sorry for them since they can’t find wives, so I just wanted to let them have some fun. There’s no need for you all to get so worked up and yell at me about it…”

Hearing this shameless talk, Zhao Rong couldn’t stand it any longer. He stepped forward, grabbed hold of the fiend, and prepared to beat him. But when he looked at Lili’s beautiful face, he found he couldn’t bring himself to strike.

Helplessly, Zhao Rong grabbed a rope from under the bed, tied the person in Lili’s body to it, and said, ”Assistant, I’m going to find the Black Phantom right now. After I get your souls switched back, I’ll deal with you properly…”

With that, Zhao Rong rushed out the door, heading for the underground library in the laboratory building to find the Black Phantom and get the antidote.

But just as Zhao Rong stepped out of the dormitory building, he ran straight into Principal Toad Jin, who was approaching with the four notorious bullies. Seeing Principal Toad Jin and the four bullies behind him, Zhao Rong felt a wave of murderous intent wash over him.

It seems the great battle I expected is about to start ahead of schedule…
