Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When Zhao Rong saw the test result, he was stunned. His eyes widened in surprise as he exclaimed, ”This is impossible! How could this happen?”

I clearly haven’t done anything with the Mermaid, so why did the test come out with this result? Could it be that the virginity tester I bought from Taobao is fake?

Just as Zhao Rong was reeling with questions, Yu Lan rushed over in tears. She pounded on his chest with her fists, crying, ”Brother Zhao Rong, we warned you over and over again! Why did you still give your first time to the Mermaid? And it even happened N times…”

Xuelian also rushed over, crying. She punched Zhao Rong in the chest angrily and said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, how many times have I told you? If you wanted to, I, Xuelian, was waiting for you! How could you ignore a beauty right here and instead get involved with a Mermaid…”

Seeing the two beauties crying their hearts out, Zhao Rong quickly held up his hands, shrugged, and used all his strength to explain, ”Yu Lan, Xuelian, please believe me! I, Zhao Rong, swear I will remain chaste for you, keeping my virginity until the day we all…”

Although Zhao Rong frantically tried to explain, in the face of such incontrovertible evidence, he wouldn’t be able to clear his name even if he jumped into the Yellow River.

At that moment, he suddenly remembered the assistant in his Magic Ring. Could the virginity testers the two women bought from Taobao have detected the assistant’s results? Is that why it’s displaying that something happened today, and even N times? But that’s not right, either. The assistant clearly only had an encounter with the Mermaid once, so how could it say ’N times’?

Thus, Zhao Rong immediately tossed the assistant out of the Magic Ring and said, ”Xuelian, Yu Lan, please stop crying, and don’t hit me! If you believe me, please test me one more time…”

Hearing this, Xuelian, with tears streaming down her face, sniffled and said, ”What’s the point of testing again? The evidence is as clear as day…”

Yu Lan, a mess of tears and snot, added, ”Brother Zhao Rong, the facts are right in front of us. What more is there to explain? You should know that explaining is just an attempt to cover things up. The more you explain, the more you’re just hiding something…”

Seeing that the two women were unwilling to retest his virginity, Zhao Rong grabbed the tester from the table, placed it over his crotch, and declared, ”If you don’t want to test me, then I’ll test myself for you to see!”

With that, he started the test. This result will definitely prove my innocence. You two just wait until you have to apologize to me.

But before he could even finish the thought, the device’s LCD screen suddenly displayed a new message: ”The person tested is no longer a virgin. Has engaged in… activities N times today…”

Seeing this result, Zhao Rong was so shocked that he collapsed onto the floor. Cold sweat dripped from his forehead. How strange! I was on my best behavior this trip. I kept my integrity and remained chaste. I definitely didn’t do anything with the Mermaid, so how could both tests give the exact same result?

Just as Zhao Rong was utterly baffled, the two women beside him erupted.

Xuelian did a front flip and landed a kick on Zhao Rong. ”At first, I tried to lie to myself,” she cried, her heart breaking. ”I thought maybe I bought a counterfeit from Taobao and the result was wrong. I believed my idol, Brother Zhao Rong, was definitely a virgin who would stay chaste for me. But when the second test result was exactly the same as the first, my heart completely shattered! Brother Zhao Rong, you really did get involved with that Mermaid…”

No sooner had she finished than Yu Lan did a backflip and also kicked Zhao Rong. Shaking her head as if her world were collapsing, she wept, ”Brother Zhao Rong, two tests with the same result only proves one thing: you couldn’t maintain your self-control! You were consumed by lust! It’s true what they say, even a hero cannot resist the charms of a beauty…”

While the two beauties were weeping, the assistant, who was lying on the ground, was suddenly seized by the zombie poison in his system. He shot up and leaped toward the dormitory door.

At that exact moment, Zhao Rong, still holding the virginity tester, accidentally placed it over his crotch again. Suddenly, the LCD screen flashed: ”No need to ask. A virgin indeed.”

When the two women saw the result, they stared at each other in bewilderment. ”That’s impossible! How could the tester show that Brother Zhao Rong is a virgin? He must have tampered with it somehow. No, we have to test again…”

With that, they opened a drawer, pulled out a second virginity tester, and rushed over to place it on Zhao Rong’s crotch. The screen still showed the same message: ”No need to ask. A virgin indeed.”

Still not believing it, Xuelian opened her large wardrobe and pulled out another virginity tester. ”Brother Zhao Rong, I bought the first one from Taobao and the second from Tmall. This third one, I bought from JD.com…”

She placed the third device on Zhao Rong’s crotch. The LCD screen remained unchanged: ”No need to ask. A virgin indeed.”

Once the two women were finally certain that Brother Zhao Rong hadn’t done anything with the Mermaid that day, their tears turned to laughter. Beaming with joy, they rushed toward him.

As Zhao Rong realized that no matter how he was tested now, the result showed he was a virgin, he had a sudden epiphany. So, the virginity testers from Taobao really do have some quality control issues. Even though I took the assistant out of the Magic Ring, he was still too close to me, so the device was detecting his results, not mine. Now that the zombie poison has flared up and he’s jumped over to the dormitory door, he’s far enough away that the tester is showing the correct result for me!

Just as the two women were charging toward him and Zhao Rong was opening his arms for an embrace, the poison-addled assistant suddenly leaped between them. However, since Xuelian and Yu Lan didn’t know the assistant was infected with zombie poison, they weren’t the least bit afraid of him blocking their path.

Suddenly, the assistant eyed their necks, bared his fangs, and pounced.

When he leaped at Yu Lan, ready to bite her neck, she thought he was trying to kiss her. Without a moment’s hesitation, she delivered a vicious Descendant Ending Kick, striking him right in the family jewels. Although the zombie poison was coursing through him, the assistant still recoiled with an expression of pure agony.

Thwarted by Yu Lan’s brutal kick, the assistant turned his attention to Xuelian. Just as he bared his zombie fangs to bite her neck, Xuelian spat right in his face and slapped him twice, hard. ”You dirty bastard!” she yelled. ”My neck is for Brother Zhao Rong to kiss, not you! Get lost, you scumbag!”

Seeing the poisoned assistant about to bite the two women, Zhao Rong grabbed an ashtray from the table and smashed it over his forehead. Instantly, the frenzied assistant fell silent and crumpled to the ground.

When the two women saw how ruthlessly Zhao Rong had dealt with the assistant, they gave him a big thumbs-up. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you’re a true man! A man worthy of our lifelong trust!”

After saying that, Xuelian was secretly overjoyed. When the assistant tried to kiss me, Brother Zhao Rong must have gotten jealous. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been so harsh, knocking him unconscious with an ashtray.

Yu Lan, too, felt a surge of love for him. When the assistant tried to kiss me, Brother Zhao Rong took him down immediately. It seems he truly favors only me.

Just then, Zhao Rong tossed the ashtray aside and explained, ”Ladies, please don’t misunderstand. I didn’t mean to kill the assistant. He’s infected with a zombie’s poison. If I hadn’t knocked him out with the ashtray, he would have hurt both of you…”

Hearing Zhao Rong’s earnest explanation, Xuelian thought to herself, Brother Zhao Rong is getting better and better at pretending. He’s obviously jealous, so why make up an excuse about the assistant having zombie poison? Who would believe a lie like that?

Yu Lan also laughed inwardly. Brother Zhao Rong, you must have been jealous that the assistant wanted to kiss me, so you hit him with the ashtray. But jealousy is one thing; you can’t just make up such a ridiculous lie. In broad daylight, who would believe that a living person like the assistant could be infected with zombie poison?

At that moment, the assistant lying on the ground regained a sliver of consciousness. He murmured, ”Brother Zhao Rong, Beauty Yu Lan, Beauty Xuelian… can you two stop flirting for a moment? Saving a life is more meritorious than building a seven-tiered pagoda. Time is running out. Can you please save me from this zombie poison and Miss Lili, who is suffering from the Dawn Poison, first? You can flirt later!”

Just then, Miss Lili, who had been unconscious on the bed for a long time, experienced a final surge of consciousness. ”Brother Zhao Rong, save me first,” she whispered. ”Once you’ve revived me, I promise I’ll flirt with you even better than Yu Lan and Xuelian…”

Hearing this, Zhao Rong was taken aback and said sheepishly, ”Saving you is what’s important. Saving you is what’s important. I’ll start right away…”

Hearing that Zhao Rong was finally going to save them, Lili used every ounce of her strength to extend her right hand. ”Brother Zhao Rong, didn’t you go find the Mermaid? Hurry, give me the antidote you got from her…”

The assistant also rolled over, cupping his hands. ”Brother Zhao Rong, while you’re at it, please give me the antidote for the zombie poison you got from the Mermaid, too…”

Faced with their demands, Zhao Rong, who hadn’t gotten any antidote at all, scratched the back of his head, at a loss for words.

Forget it. Time is of the essence. I’d better bring out the pressure cooker and Strange Fire and start refining the pill right here.

But just as he was about to start refining, he suddenly thought of the Black Phantom. The Black Phantom had promised to help him refine pills, but now, he had vanished without a trace.

Without the Black Phantom’s help, Zhao Rong, unsure how to create the antidote, was suddenly lost…
