Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 995: Chapter 991: Crazy Plan

Nagayama Kaiyuki was about to explode with anger, watching helplessly as the professorship he had worked so hard for over the years was stripped away. He couldn’t sit still and stormed into the school’s board office, demanding an explanation.

”Kaiyuki, this is also a decision the school had no choice but to make, you should understand, right? Rest assured, this is just a temporary measure, considering the injustice you’ve suffered, the school will surely find a way to compensate you.”

Nagayama Kaiyuki sat in the board office, his face a dark shade of blue, while the board members chuckled awkwardly, trying to muddle through.

Nagayama Kaiyuki was not an inexperienced young man, so he could easily understand that the school’s words were just excuses. Previously, during the Huaxia Koi Exchange Conference, the school had pushed him forward as a scapegoat, and now that trouble had arisen, they wanted him to take the fall again.

Nagayama Kaiyuki didn’t want to take this fall, but the school had made such a decision and he had no way to reverse it, so he had to grit his teeth and bear the pain.

People always like to pick on the weak, and unable to blame the school for its callousness, Nagayama Kaiyuki decided to transfer the blame to the true culprit, at this point, he loathed Huo Sining to the core.

”You can revoke my professorship, but I have one request...”

Nagayama Kaiyuki’s eyes were bloodshot, his eye sockets were red, and he spoke almost through gritted teeth.

The board office members thought they would have to put in a lot of effort to persuade Nagayama Kaiyuki, but unexpectedly, he gave in so quickly this time, and they were pleasantly surprised as they hurriedly responded, ”What request do you have? As long as it’s not excessive, the board will do its best to fulfill it.”

Nagayama Kaiyuki let out a cold laugh, his gaze filled with malice as he pointed to a roster on the desk and calmly said, ”My request is that this year’s College of Biology exam papers be drafted by me.”

Is this even a request?

The people sitting in the board office looked at each other, unsure of Nagayama Kaiyuki’s intentions.

Nagayama Kaiyuki offered no explanation, just stared at the board office members, ”I suppose this request isn’t excessive, is it?”

The board members didn’t care who drafted the exam papers, so to them, Nagayama Kaiyuki’s request was insignificant. They had thought he would ask for money or other compensation, but unexpectedly, it was merely the drafting of exam papers.

These people were astute, as Nagayama Kaiyuki wasted a good opportunity to gain benefits, they were more than eager to agree and quickly nodded in agreement:

”Sure, sure, it’s completely fine, although your professorship is currently revoked, with your knowledge and status, you can certainly handle this task alone.”

Nagayama Kaiyuki nodded, his gaze brushed over a name on the roster, and a sinister smile appeared on his lips.

Huo Sining was unaware of Nagayama Kaiyuki’s actions behind the scenes. She was busy scouring Taobao, with no interest in dealing with such underhanded matters.

The affair of the Ancient Tomb Gold-threaded Jade Clothing continued to ferment, causing a stir across Dongyang, and Huo Sining once again witnessed the shamelessness of the Dongyang people. Despite worldwide skepticism, the Watanabe Consortium turned a blind eye and kept aggressively promoting that the dating of the Ancient Tomb Gold-threaded Jade Clothing proved Dongyang’s history predates Western Han history.

Dongyang people have always wanted to escape from a historical shackle, which is that they were once a vassal state of Huaxia, paying tribute to Huaxia Han during the Yayoi Era and calling themselves slaves, and even much of Dongyang’s historical civilization was introduced from Huaxia Country. To the Dongyang people, this history is a humiliation, one they deeply wish to erase.

So, when the Watanabe Consortium planned the Ancient Tomb Gold-threaded Jade Clothing incident, it received overwhelming support from Dongyang people. To them, the appearance of the Jade Clothing could help rewrite history, allowing them to completely shed the halo of Huaxia civilization, enabling them to stand independently and confidently.

Sadly, this self-directed farce was just them deceiving themselves, as almost every archaeologist outside Dongyang questioned the Dongyang ancient tomb, but Dongyang turned a blind eye and staunchly proclaimed their independence, insisting they weren’t a derivative of any civilization.

In such circumstances, the voices of mockery and anger within Huaxia surged, condemning the shamelessness and unethical behavior of Dongyang people, resonating in Chinese circles worldwide, with some even demanding that Dongyang return the artifacts they looted during their invasion of Huaxia Country, gaining more and more support.

Upon seeing this topic on Weibo, Huo Sining’s thoughts also became active.

As a Huaxia person, everyone is well aware that with the shamelessness of Dongyang people, they’re not going to truly return these artifacts to Huaxia Country. This proposal is merely a way for the people to vent their anger and dissatisfaction given the Ancient Tomb Gold-threaded Jade Clothing incident.

But this proposal inspired Huo Sining, giving her a sudden light-bulb moment.

She suddenly realized how stupid it was for her to have been rushing around Dongyang trying to find hidden gems and treasures during this time.

How foolish it was for her to work so hard, scouring for antiques when those treasures were already before her, not needing her to go hunting.

Many domestic museums have been looted by artifact traffickers, and Huo Sining is temporarily unable to ascertain this, but since Dongyang people so strongly deny and look down on Huaxia civilization, then those Huaxia ancient artifacts stored in various Dongyang museums hold little value for Dongyang people, right?

In Huo Sining’s heart, a crazy idea arose, that is, since the likes of Watanabe Yasu dared to exploit the security system loopholes domestically to swap out the Yue Kiln Secret Color Porcelain from the Taicheng Museum, she could also practice tit for tat.

This plan sounded dangerous and exciting, but with her Invisibility Skill and storage ring for protection, it wasn’t hard to implement. She just needed to sneak into various Dongyang museums, hide within them, and seize any opportunity to swap out the real artifacts.

Thinking about the feasibility of this plan, Huo Sining’s heart began to race, increasingly convinced that her plan was workable.

Her eyes sparkled with determination as she coldly snorted at the Watanabe Consortium’s antics during this time. Didn’t Dongyang people wish to erase Huaxia Country’s history? Then she’d see what expressions they’d have when those museum artifacts were swapped out.
