The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1335: Chapter 1335: Bonuses Are Here

The negotiation proceeded smoothly as both parties were eager to facilitate the cooperation.

The moment Shu Yu signed her name on the contract, she felt a sudden relief and looked up, smiling at Ren Huai, “Pleasant cooperation.”

Ren Huai was taken aback but responded readily, “Pleasant cooperation.”

Both carefully secured the contract, agreed to deliver the goods early the next morning, and Shu Yu returned home.

Arriving at the Lu family’s gate, she saw a crowd outside and decisively told Ying Xi to turn the carriage, “Forget it, let’s not go back, head to the workshop instead.”

Eager to deliver the goods early the next day, she intended to return home to change clothes before heading back to the workshop tonight to check, tidy up, and bag the goods.

Yet, seeing people at the gate, Shu Yu decided not to return home; she simply had Ying Xi inform the gatekeeper and then headed straight out of the city.

Upon reaching the workshop, the staff were already excited over the morning delivery of sunflower oil to the palace’s procurement.

And now, how long has it been since? The boss returned and announced that all the melon seeds have found buyers, with the buyer being Young Master Ren from the capital’s largest dried fruit shop who visited previously.

Everyone was so excited that they were momentarily speechless.

The boss is truly amazing; while others start workshops and production selling in surrounding small towns and counties, our boss targets either the capital or the Imperial Palace.

What can you say about this? The boss’s starting point is where others end.

Amused, Shu Yu looked at everyone, “Alright, no more idleness, hurry up and pack the goods. Once the goods are shipped out, we will announce bonuses.”

“Wow!!” everyone exclaimed, growing more joyous and eagerly got to work, filling the workshop with a festive atmosphere.

Early the next morning, Ren Huai and Steward Xu arrived with people to collect the goods.

The first batch of goods was quite limited; before the year-end, Shu Yu had sold part of it and sent part to the capital.

Remaining now isn’t much.

Ren Huai was aware of this; thus, yesterday, he discussed with Shu Yu the timeline and quantity for the second batch of supplies.

After loading the workshop’s batch of melon seeds onto the carts, Ren Huai settled the balance payment and provided the deposit for the next batch of goods, then left with his people immediately.

They had already been delayed quite some time in Jiangyuan County, so now, having agreed, Ren Huai needed to rush back to the capital.

After bidding them farewell, Shu Yu smiled and returned to the workshop.

She promptly gathered everyone together with Luo Chun and Ruan Dali.

Assembled in the hall, everyone roughly guessed what happened, their expressions extraordinarily excited.

Standing on the steps, Shu Yu asked everyone for quiet, then cleared her throat, smiling, “Everyone has worked hard during this period, especially in the past few days, producing two batches close together, working late to maximize output. As your boss, I am truly grateful for your efforts. Naturally, it’s time for a reward; yesterday, I mentioned once the goods are shipped, we will distribute bonuses.”

The eyes of everyone in the hall instantly brightened, making them excitedly clench their hands.

Laughing, Shu Yu announced, “The bonus isn’t too generous, just an extra month’s wages per person.”

“Wow.” Not generous, really?

An extra month’s wages, to them, is an unexpected delight, akin to a pie falling from the sky, couldn’t be better.

Continuing, Shu Yu said, “Alright, calm down. Besides the extra month’s wages, I will grant everyone two days off, so you can enjoy spending your bonuses, going home, shopping, whatever suits you. Enjoy it.”
