The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1313: Chapter 1313: Meeting Ren Huai

The two left the house, but what Shu Yu didn’t know was that after Steward Xu delivered the invitation, he didn’t leave. He remained outside the Lu family gate.

Seeing Shu Yu come out, he was a bit surprised and instinctively followed her.

Then he saw Shu Yu begin to shop happily, looking very cheerful.

Steward Xu was puzzled. Didn’t her fiancé just leave? What could make her so happy after he left?

On second thought, perhaps it was because he had just handed over the invitation.

The invitation clearly stated their identities and intentions, indicating they wanted to discuss the melon seeds business.

Could it be that Monarch Lu Xiang was excited about a big business deal coming her way?

Thinking about her simple and emotional nature, Steward Xu felt this was highly possible.

He went back and discussed it with Ren Huai, and both felt even more confident about the negotiations the next day.

The next day, Shu Yu dressed sharply and neatly and went to the agreed location.

Ren Huai had chosen a manor tea house for the meeting. Though expensive, it offered privacy and was ideal for business discussions.

Shu Yu had been here once before with Ding Yuehua for tea during her leisure time.

Entering the tea house, she was greeted by a large front courtyard garden. The weather was just warming up, and the flowers and branches were quietly blooming, looking vibrant.

The garden had pavilions and tea tables, with corridors on either side of the entrance and rooms alongside them.

Ren Huai’s chosen room was further inside, in the backyard.

As Shu Yu entered the tea house with Ying Xi, the staff recognized her and enthusiastically led her directly to Ren Huai’s private room.

Upon hearing the knock on the door, Ren Huai slightly straightened his posture, ”Please come in.”

Shu Yu entered, and Ren Huai immediately stood up with a smile, ”Monarch Lu Xiang, I’ve long heard of your great name, please have a seat.”

After the staff served tea and left, Shu Yu said with a grin, ”Young Master Ren, it’s your first visit, and you’ve chosen a great place.”

Ren Huai chuckled, ”I couldn’t offer such a meager place to Monarch Lu Xiang, could I? I carefully researched before choosing this spot. I wonder if Monarch Lu Xiang is satisfied.”

”Of course, I’m satisfied.”

After a couple of polite exchanges, Ren Huai formally introduced himself and Steward Xu.

The capital’s largest passion fruit preserves were part of the Liao family’s business, and Ren Huai was Old Master Liao’s nephew. He was quite capable and was entrusted with managing part of the Liao family’s business.

”With great sincerity, the passion fruit preserves would like to cooperate with Monarch Lu Xiang as a sales channel for melon seeds. Our preserves aren’t only the largest in the capital; we also have shops in other prosperous places like Huajiang Prefecture and Jinjiang Prefecture. No matter how many melon seeds Monarch Lu Xiang has, we’re never worried about selling them.”

Shu Yu looked concerned, ”I’m more than willing to cooperate with the Liao family, of course. But with so many Liao family shops, my family’s melon seeds are limited, and supply might be difficult.”

”No rush, with limited supply, we’ll start selling in the capital. The melon seeds have just hit the market, and not many people know about them. But I believe it won’t be long before Monarch Lu Xiang has plenty of stock, right.”

Shu Yu nodded, ”That’s true. These are just the first batch of melon seeds, but in the future, Liao family’s shops might not be able to take them all.”

”That’s nothing to worry about; the Liao family has its own channels. However, working with Monarch Lu Xiang, we do have a requirement.”

Shu Yu raised an eyebrow, here it comes.

”A requirement? What requirement?”
