The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1330: Chapter 1330: Unique

The workshop was quite quiet at this moment; the staff had only heard Ruan Dali say this morning that the palace had taken an interest in their sunflower oil and that someone from the palace would come to the workshop for an inspection today.

When the staff heard this news, they all thought they hadn’t woken up yet, each feeling like they were dreaming.

Such a small workshop as theirs, unexpectedly doing business with the palace?

Seeing everyone like this, Ruan Dali thought to himself: Fortunately, he told them in the morning; if it had been mentioned last night, they might not have needed to sleep all night long, and they would definitely appear listless while working today.

If their lackluster appearance was seen by the palace people, the palace procurement would doubt whether they could work well, and if this negatively affected the transaction, that would be terrible.

Luckily, there was still some time before Shu Yu and the others arrived, so Ruan Dali quickly did some ideological work for everyone, encouraging them to adjust their mindset and present themselves well.

Therefore, when Shu Yu and Qi Lie entered the workshop, although the staff were still somewhat nervous, their faces had returned to normal, and they worked methodically.

Qi Lie followed behind Shu Yu, wore shoe covers, and a hat, as his eyes surveyed the entire workshop.

Compared to Ren Huai’s initial astonished expression, Qi Lie’s expression was much calmer, even though he was particularly amazed at everything new in the workshop.

He could tell this was not done on the spur of the moment; the staff here were clearly accustomed to such an environment and way of working.

Qi Lie was accompanied by two others, who stayed a few steps behind and asked a few questions to the staff.

The staff answered with stammering speech, looking distressed as if about to cry after responding.

As soon as Shu Yu and the others finished their tour and went out the door, the staff immediately grabbed the person beside them and anxiously said, “What should I do? I was so nervous just now, I couldn’t even speak fluently. Would they stop doing business with our workshop because of this?”

The person next to him looked at him sympathetically, with a hint of disappointment in his eyes, “How can you be so timid? They just asked a few casual questions, and all you had to do was answer properly. What are you afraid of?”

“You’re finished. If this deal falls through, you certainly won’t be able to work here anymore.”

Upon hearing this, the person sat down on the bench in a daze.

Who would have thought, after a while, Ruan Dali came over, patted his shoulder, and laughed, “Well done.”

The person was stunned, “Well done?? I, I was stuttering out of fear just now.”

“That’s nothing, the boss said it too. People from the palace have seen many individuals. Your nervousness and uneasiness made you appear genuine. The things you stammered out made them think you’re credible.”

If he had answered flawlessly, they would certainly know that they were prepared in advance, making those questions meaningless.

Ruan Dali smiled and said, “Alright, everyone, work well. Once the boss and the palace procurement finalize the deal, each of you will receive a bonus.”

The crowd was stunned for a moment, then cheered, “Really? Steward Ruan, you’ll really give us a bonus?”

“Of course, if you work diligently, the boss won’t treat you poorly.”

With that, Ruan Dali walked away, and the cheers behind him made him smile.

By this time, Shu Yu and Qi Lie were already sitting in the office. Qi Lie was sipping tea comfortably, “Your workshop is indeed quite unique.”

At least after seeing it, he was very confident about the cleanliness of the sunflower oil.
