Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2748: Chapter 1954: Leifer the Merchant (Part 2)

”That restaurant is considered expensive by regular tourists, and if you don’t have the right status, you’ll have to dine in the ground floor hall. Only exceptional people can dine upstairs...” Fei’er introduced the situation.

Currently, the island city they are in, Lares, should be considered the capital of Kustiel. It seems that the restaurant Fei’er mentioned is indeed extraordinary.

However, the new port invested by the Sixth Business Division is not located here.

”Since Miss Fei’er thinks it’s good, let’s go there.” Bai Xiaosheng went along with it.

The group left the airport and hailed two cars outside.

Bai Xiaosheng’s group got into one car, while Fei’er and Mollya got into the other, heading to the restaurant called ”Blue Sea” mentioned by Fei’er.

Along the way, Bai Xiaosheng’s group admired the island nation’s scenery, opened the windows to enjoy the refreshing sea breeze with a slight salty smell, and truly felt relaxed and joyful.

Once they arrived and got out of the car, Bai Xiaosheng’s group was surprised to find that the famous restaurant Fei’er referred to was a three-story building, not the imagined skyscraper, but it was quite wide and looked imposing. The building faced the sea, with large terraces on the second and third floors, with waterfall-like water cascading from the third floor to the second, and then flowing into the large pool in front of the building.

”Is this a restaurant or a giant fountain?” Lin Weiwei couldn’t help but exclaim.

”It’s a place to eat.” Lei Ying muttered, ”I smell the aroma of seafood.”

”Let’s go, have a look inside.” Bai Xiaosheng said.

Fei’er and Mollya also got out of the car, and the doorman helped them with their luggage.

Watching the uniformed, skinny man carry the heavy luggage stirred a sense of pity, but after Fei’er tipped him with several large bills, his smiling expression made it seem like it wasn’t a bad thing for him.

The group walked into the restaurant, and a waiter approached them, his smile tinged with apology, ”Honored guests, may I ask if you are members of our establishment? If not, I’m afraid you’ll need to wait in the hall, as there are no tables available.”

Even though it was morning, the hall was already packed, with no seats available.

Bai Xiaosheng and others glanced around, noticing the elegant environment, luxurious decor, and few tables—all occupied.

Fei’er promptly took out a black VIP card and handed it over, ”We are not tourists; this is the black card from your establishment.”

The black card is the highest level membership card here.

The waiter checked the card, his smile immediately broadening, and bowed, ”Please, proceed to the third floor.”

His attitude compared to before was a hundred times more respectful.

Lin Weiwei couldn’t help but mumble, ”Is it really that effective.”

”When I came here before, I also encountered the situation of having no seats, so I specifically got the highest level membership card during the honeymoon phase of our cooperation with Kustiel, arranged through contacts here. Well, let’s head upstairs.” Fei’er turned to the waiter and said, ”Just tell me the table number; there’s no need for you to follow us.”

The waiter immediately bowed, nodded, reported a table number, and retreated.

The group headed straight to the third floor.

Fei’er led them to a table, a six-person seating on the terrace, facing the sea—a great spot for dining with a view.

On either side of their table were smaller tables: one fully occupied, the other with only a balding middle-aged man.

The middle-aged man was dressed immaculately, with an outstanding demeanor, leisurely sipping coffee while reading a newspaper.

Everyone took their seats.

Only then did Bai Xiaosheng notice that the tabletop was a display screen; once seated, a menu appeared, and it could be swiped to flip pages. The pictures of the dishes were movable, and placing a finger on them showed the basic preparation process and ingredients.

This was quite nice—even without knowing English, one could choose suitable dishes.

”You can use this to order directly.” Fei’er reminded.

Then, at Fei’er’s recommendation, everyone ordered a breakfast featuring local specialties.

Before long, a waiter came to deliver the meals.

The dishes—how to say it—some were easy to enjoy, while others were not so palatable.

Bai Xiaosheng’s group each had their preferences, but fortunately, with plenty of dishes ordered, they could pick what they liked to eat enough.

After finishing breakfast, coffee was served, and Bai Xiaosheng noticed the balding man at the next table was still sipping coffee.

Such a slow pace indeed.

Those who could sit here were likely wealthy or noble, given the expensive VIP card. The man’s demeanor suggested he was a businessman.

A businessman wasting the splendid morning like this was quite rare. In their view, time is money.

Drinking a single cup of coffee slowly all morning seemed like a huge waste.

But Bai Xiaosheng didn’t focus much on the man—it was the man’s life, beyond others’ comments.

While drinking coffee, Fei’er said to Bai Xiaosheng, ”Mr. Bai, before coming, we already had our construction company contact Kustiel’s officials, arranging a meeting at ten a.m. with their people in Lares. Now there’s still plenty of time; shall we go explore? I haven’t been here in a while.”

Bai Xiaosheng hadn’t responded yet.

Lin Weiwei coldly snorted on the side, reminding, ”Miss Fei’er seems very interested, but we’re not here for vacation!”

Compared to Mollya, Lin Weiwei found Fei’er less agreeable.

Fei’er remained indifferent to Lin Weiwei’s somewhat targeting attitude and smiled, ”Miss Lin, you might not be aware, but Kustiel produces a type of cochineal insect, resulting in high-quality lipsticks. Although exported, the color options aren’t fully available elsewhere.”
