Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2728: Chapter 1944: Encountering the ”Con Artists” Again (Part 3)

”Now it’s past two o’clock, it looks like around three or four... our flight might actually be on.” Lin Weiwei said.

”Let’s hope so.” Bai Xiaosheng shrugged.

Weather reasons, that’s the realm of the heavens, no one can make a rash judgment.

The group wandered through several VIP lounges and actually found seats. Being able to sit and wait was indeed quite nice.

Half an hour later, Mollya and her subordinates also arrived at the VIP waiting room, coincidentally finding seats right next to Bai Xiaosheng’s group, separated only by a frosted glass pane.

After sitting down, Mollya seemed to recall the scene in the restaurant’s private room.

Tricked by a few scammers with vague words, she was led to spill everything, almost revealing the lowest price, which really made her feel utterly humiliated.

”I wonder if those scammers have been caught!” Mollya said angrily, ”Even if caught, they only receive light punishments, which is truly unsatisfying.”

If possible, she wouldn’t mind spending money and effort to throw those three into prison for a few years.

”Calm down, I heard that around here scammers are punished with whipping, ten lashes first, enough to break the skin and leave them bleeding profusely.” the assistant comforted.

”Is that the punishment here? Why do I remember it differently.” Mollya frowned.

The assistant replied somewhat sheepishly, ”That’s just what I’ve heard.”

”Only ten lashes? That’s too few.” Mollya murmured.

The assistant immediately said, ”Then two hundred lashes, enough to leave them unable to care for themselves.”

Only then did Mollya nod in satisfaction.

Next door, Bai Xiaosheng’s group also talked about her.

Lin Weiwei even said, ”That woman named Mollya looks smart, yet she doesn’t even give us a chance to explain. She should know that chatting with us is on the same level as talking to Guo Yun. Bad luck for her, that silly woman.”

Bai Xiaosheng and Lei Ying just smiled.

Neither party knew that the person they were mocking was right on the other side of the glass.

After waiting for more than an hour, Bai Xiaosheng’s group heard the boarding announcement, saying the flight had arrived and it was time to board.

The three of them got up and followed the crowd to the entrance.

Their position was advantageous, allowing them to be at the front of the line.

None of them noticed that Mollya’s group was right behind them in the queue.

They were all about to board the same plane.

Mollya’s group hadn’t noticed Bai Xiaosheng’s trio either.

Once aboard, Bai Xiaosheng’s group headed directly to business class, although their seats weren’t next to each other, with a gap between them.

After they settled in, they each adjusted their seats or checked their belongings, none of them noticing Mollya coming in and, coincidentally, sitting in the empty seat.

Mollya’s people were in the economy class at the back.

After sitting down, Mollya buried herself in the files she carried, the highly private seat keeping her from noticing Bai Xiaosheng’s group.

As the flight hurried to meet its schedule, the plane had to take the runway.

Following some simple procedures, the plane took off.

Shortly after, the flight attendant wheeled the cart over to serve drinks.

Mollya, without looking up, thought the flight attendant was asking her and said loudly, ”Coffee.”

Simultaneously, another voice beside her said, ”Red tea, thank you.”

After these requests, both of them couldn’t help but pause, feeling the voice sounded familiar, and they peeked at each other.

Thus, Bai Xiaosheng and Mollya happened to meet each other’s gaze.

”It’s you.” Bai Xiaosheng said in surprise.

”It’s you!” Mollya widened her eyes in shock, almost unable to believe it.

Then Mollya saw the person sitting in front of her stand up and look back at her, it was that Huaxia woman.

From behind, a rough, deep voice also came, ”Ha, what a coincidence.”

Mollya looked ahead and back, panicking.

Oh God!

On the plane, she’s surrounded by those crooks!
