Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2729: Chapter 1945: A Terrifying Journey

Goodbye Mollya, Bai Xiaosheng and the other two were both surprised and unexpected. They thought there would be no chance to meet again shortly, but unexpectedly, they met again so soon.

Regarding the misunderstanding with Mollya, Bai Xiaosheng planned to mention it to Zhengdong Province later, so that the people on his side could explain to the other party’s group. Whether they cooperate or not, it’s always not good to leave a misunderstanding, especially one that damages one’s image.

But now it seems, there’s no need to use someone else’s word.

Bai Xiaosheng also felt quite happy and, out of politeness, showed Mollya a warm smile.

This smile directly made Mollya’s hair stand on end, her mind filled with: Why is he smiling at me like this? Why is he so happy? How come they’re here? Could it be they’ve been watching me from early on? Is this an intentional tracking?

When people start divergent thinking, they tend to go deeper into the worst directions.

What’s even more critical is, Lin Weiwei, who sat in front of Mollya, at this moment said meaningfully, ”Miss Mollya, your luck is really good!”

Actually, Lin Weiwei intended to say that Mollya meeting Bai Xiaosheng again, the boss behind Shengsheng International, is not a problem for discussing cooperation.

But this sentence, falling into Mollya’s ears at this moment, was simply terrifying.

Mollya, with her imagination running wild, directly brain-filled it into: You fell into our hands again, no escape...

What’s most critical is, Lei Ying, sitting behind, timely let out a ”ha ha” laugh.

Mollya was immediately chilled.

When people are highly nervous, it’s inevitable to magnify the fear in their hearts infinitely.

Beside her, the flight attendant, unaware, also smiled and interrupted, ”So you know each other, this really is a fateful journey, very happy to serve you.”

How can you call this fate, what are your eyes seeing?

They’re bad people!

Mollya secretly signaled to the flight attendant with her eyes.

Unfortunately, the other party was bending down to pour red tea for Bai Xiaosheng, as she initially intended to serve Bai Xiaosheng.

Mollya could only wait until the flight attendant brought coffee to her to exert her expression.

”Are you wanting an extra packet of sugar?” the flight attendant noticed and smiled.

Mollya, afraid that Bai Xiaosheng and the others might hear, urgently blinked.

The flight attendant understood and picked up a milk ball, smiling and asking, ”Do you need another milk ball?”

Mollya was so angry her nose twisted, really wanting to tell her loudly, do you think my expression is asking for sugar and milk!

Bai Xiaosheng drank a sip of red tea and already smiled over.

”I don’t want anything,” Mollya could only say to the flight attendant, cursing inside: I’ll complain about you later!

The flight attendant smiled and nodded, pushing the cart away.

No time to deal with the flight attendant, Mollya now had thoughts of her own situation.

If these people intended something malicious toward her, those she brought in the economy class were just helpless. Even if they came over, it would be useless; they aren’t a match for that big guy...

Seek help from the crew?

Will they believe it? What evidence does she have to make them believe these people are bad? What if she says these people hijack the plane, and if they’re just interested in her alone, what if they behave on the plane? Even if the flight attendants believe it, can they handle them?

Mollya’s mind was chaotic and fanciful, ultimately concluding she was isolated and helpless, definitely can’t provoke those people.

Having made up her mind, Mollya sneakily glanced at Bai Xiaosheng, only to meet his gaze.

Bai Xiaosheng smiled slightly and said, ”Miss Mollya, our misunderstanding at lunch in the restaurant.”

”Yes, yes, misunderstanding! Misunderstanding!” Mollya repeatedly smiled, ”It was Mr. Jack Chen speaking carelessly, my people were too reckless, hope it didn’t make you uncomfortable.”

This kind of Mollya, in Bai Xiaosheng’s eyes, seemed like panic and perfunctory.

Lin Weiwei, sitting in front, glanced back with a smile, ”That Chen Jack has already paid the price for his actions.”

This sentence nearly made Mollya drop the coffee cup in her hand.

What does it mean, could it be Chen Jack has already...

Mollya didn’t dare think further.

”Miss Mollya, it’s not what you think,” Bai Xiaosheng noticed Mollya’s expression seemed slightly alarmed, knowing she misunderstood some things, hurriedly said, ”That Chen Jack was just dismissed by the company, no longer part of Shengsheng International. If you do want to cooperate with Shengsheng International, I can introduce a contact to you, and about our identity, a phone call is enough to verify...”

Bai Xiaosheng picked up his phone but then remembered this flight prohibited phone use, and immediately put it down again.

”After getting off the plane, you can verify,” Bai Xiaosheng could only say so.

”I believe what you’re saying, no need to verify,” Mollya quickly shook her head.

She didn’t believe a single word Bai Xiaosheng said at all.

Facing this panic-stricken and suspicious woman, Bai Xiaosheng had no choice but to pause the conversation.

Both sides passed an hour in silence, Bai Xiaosheng glanced at Mollya again, hoping to try and explain once more.

Mollya squeezed out a smile yet guardedly looked at him, eyes firm in not believing anything she heard.

Seeing her like this, Bai Xiaosheng could only give in.

For the rest of the flight, Mollya lay in the cabin pretending to sleep, not interacting with Bai Xiaosheng and the others, but also didn’t dare to really sleep, always on guard.

A few hours later, the flight entered North America, and the plane experienced turbulence due to airflow.

Dizzy and flashing lights in her head, Mollya didn’t feel relaxed at all.

Soon a broadcast from the cabin announced that Ganande Airport was damaged by a typhoon and could not land; the plane could only land in the nearby city Xixiaoer, and the airline company would provide certain travel compensation for passengers.
