Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2742: Chapter 1951: Farewell, Mollya (2)

This man who saved my life is actually working at the Zhenbei Group headquarters. No wonder he knows the boss of Shengsheng International.

With the reputation of Zhenbei Group, even a somewhat modest status can indeed allow one to meet some extraordinary people.

”He is my... a friend,” Mollya hurriedly whispered to the female companion beside her.

She still didn’t know Bai Xiaosheng’s name.

To avoid her companion’s questions, Mollya forced a smile at Bai Xiaosheng, ”Hi, we meet again. This is my sister, Fei’er.”

Bai Xiaosheng naturally heard how Mollya introduced him and noticed the plea in her eyes.

Apparently, Mollya didn’t want her embarrassing incidents known to her sister.

”Hello,” Bai Xiaosheng said with an unwavering expression, smiling as he greeted Miss Fei’er.

The latter nodded with a smile that was barely there and replied faintly, ”Hello.”

Obviously, she wasn’t satisfied with Bai Xiaosheng’s casual greeting and didn’t even intend to shake his hand.

Without the lady’s initiative, Bai Xiaosheng certainly wouldn’t extend his hand first and make a fool of himself.

Mollya secretly gave Bai Xiaosheng an apologetic yet grateful smile.

”Mollya, I didn’t know you had friends working at the group headquarters. How come I never heard you mention this before?” Fei’er turned her face to Mollya.

This woman, even when speaking to her own sister, carried a hint of arrogance.

It was clear that their sisterly bond had a ”plastic” undertone.

Mollya forced a smile, ”Well... it’s nothing worth mentioning, right?”

Seeing Mollya’s unnatural gaze at Bai Xiaosheng, Fei’er’s eyes narrowed slightly, filled with a deeper meaning.

”Indeed, if it was a high-ranking position, you would have boasted about it long ago,” Fei’er’s words, spoken in front of Bai Xiaosheng, were obviously unpleasant.

Bai Xiaosheng pretended not to hear.

Mollya glanced at Bai Xiaosheng with a bit of embarrassment.

Originally, Mollya herself had a bit of that arrogance, possibly a family trait. But with Fei’er around, her presence was overshadowed. And Bai Xiaosheng was the man who saved her life, so she naturally wouldn’t display such an attitude.

Fei’er, seeing her sister’s demeanor with that man looking suspiciously, felt a sense of doubt and noticed the passing employees seemed unfamiliar with Bai Xiaosheng, ignoring him entirely.

He must hold no significant position.

Could it be that he and Mollya were secretly involved?

A thought crossed Fei’er’s mind.

”Sir, knowing our Mollya is quite a fortune for you. But I wonder why it seems like you don’t know her true identity.” Fei’er, having come to a conclusion, said with a half-smile.

Oh, playing the princess and the poor boy?

Then I’ll make you both reveal your true selves! Fei’er had a mischievous thought.

”Mollya’s identity?” Bai Xiaosheng looked at Mollya suspiciously and shook his head, ”I really don’t know about that, just friends, no need to know more.”

”Sister Fei’er, is it necessary to say such things? We just asked for directions!” Mollya couldn’t help but speak to Fei’er.

Fei’er chuckled lightly, raising her voice, ”Since you’re friends, what of it to know! Sir, have you ever heard of Mrs. Margery from the Sixth Business Division of our group? We are her daughters!”

As Fei’er spoke, she raised her chin, her expression proud.

In her view, once the identities were revealed, this low-ranking man would surely come fawning over.

Watching her sister’s so-called friend fawn over her in front of herself was truly an amusing thing.

A strange pleasure rose in Fei’er’s heart, along with a bit of malice.

Bai Xiaosheng indeed glanced at Mollya with some surprise. He never expected that Mollya was actually Mrs. Margery’s daughter.

Mollya, however, remained calm.

Although Fei’er and she were sisters, their relationship wasn’t great; she understood the intention behind those words.

Unfortunately, Fei’er guessed wrong.

This man had no inappropriate private relations with her.

She might as well let her say it.

In any case, this man wouldn’t show such poor behavior!

For no reason, Mollya just had this confidence in Bai Xiaosheng.

After Fei’er spoke, seeing Bai Xiaosheng only somewhat surprised, and Mollya remaining calm, she was suddenly stunned.

Could it be that I guessed wrong?

Fei’er was a bit confused about what kind of friends the two were, feeling somewhat uninterested.

”Let’s talk about business instead.” Mollya said to Bai Xiaosheng, ”We need to find the highest person in charge of your department. I’m not sure where they are now, can you take us there?”

Mrs. Margery had instructed them this way, although she didn’t consider that Jiang Kuo was also the president of the Asian Division.

Bai Xiaosheng understood.

Mrs. Margery sent someone to deliver documents to him, but he didn’t expect her assistant to be her daughter, which made it quite interesting.

”Are you here to deliver something? You can leave it with me.” Bai Xiaosheng said.

Mollya looked surprised, ”How did you guess we were here to deliver something? Are you going to hand it over on our behalf?”

”That won’t do—the item is extremely important. With your level, I don’t think it’s appropriate for you to handle it.” Fei’er sneered bluntly.

”The item you’re delivering is supposed to be handed over to...”

Just as Bai Xiaosheng was about to reveal his identity, Fei’er’s eyes suddenly lit up as she raised her hand behind him, ”Mr. Hans!”

Mollya also turned her gaze in that direction.

Bai Xiaosheng turned to see a tall and handsome white man and a well-dressed middle-aged black man looking over.

”Miss Fei’er.”

The man named Hans instantly showed a gentlemanly and attentive smile, approaching with the black man.

As they passed Bai Xiaosheng, the two curiously glanced at him, but paid him no attention.

”Mr. Zack, you’re here too.” Fei’er saw the black man, her eyes gleaming as she loudly greeted him.

As they got closer, Bai Xiaosheng was left aside.

”Mollya, let me introduce you. This is Mr. Hans, the head of the Europe Division East District! This is Mr. Zack, the affairs secretary appointed by Mr. Brown from the Africa Division!”

Their positions were indeed not low; in their respective departments, they were definitely considered core members. Unfortunately, Bai Xiaosheng didn’t know them.

These two foreigners were naturally unfamiliar with Asian faces and hadn’t had the chance to meet Bai Xiaosheng before, so they didn’t recognize him.

”Gentlemen, this is my sister, Miss Mollya. She hasn’t visited headquarters often before, but it’s rare for her to meet two prominent figures today, and I hope you will take good care of her...” Fei’er said with a lively manner.

The two also generously praised Mollya.

”I didn’t expect Miss Fei’er’s sister to be as beautiful as you.”

”We’re all part of the Group, no need to be polite.”

Both sides chatted warmly, and Fei’er encouraged Mollya to greet the two men.

”By the way, why are you two here...” Fei’er asked tentatively.

”Business. Both of us are here, and we happened to meet.” Mr. Hans smiled subtly, ”We just met the highest person in charge of the Asian Division.”

Hans was referring, of course, to Jiang Kuo.

However, Fei’er naturally understood it as Bai Xiaosheng, whom her mother mentioned.

After all, Bai Xiaosheng and Jiang Kuo were both business president-level figures at the moment.

Having two top figures in one department could lead to confusion.

”Oh, that’s great! Where did you meet them? Can you take us there too? We also have very important things to see their highest person in charge.” Fei’er said sweetly, blinking her sparkling eyes at Hans.

Hans and Zack exchanged a look, then smiled, ”Of course, it’s an honor to guide two lovely ladies.”

”Great, let’s hurry up! After we finish, it would be our privilege to treat you two to coffee.” Fei’er said sweetly.

Not only Hans and Zack, but each was in a position second only to the top in their respective departments. Building a good relationship with them would undoubtedly benefit her side, and even her mother would be greatly impressed.

Hans and Zack led the way while Fei’er walked alongside them, noticing the ignored Bai Xiaosheng with just a glance, treating him as invisible.

Mollya approached Bai Xiaosheng, whispering hurriedly and apologetically, ”Really sorry for this. Today is just...”

”It’s okay.” Bai Xiaosheng smiled generously, ”By the way, I happen to be heading that way too; let’s go together.”

Mollya nodded quickly.

”Mollya, what are you dawdling back there for? Hurry over!” Fei’er called loudly.

Mollya didn’t want to go, but seeing the two important figures looking at her left her no choice but to give Bai Xiaosheng an apologetic glance then hurried over.

Bai Xiaosheng watched them walk away, talking and laughing, feeling both curious and amused.

”I’ll be right here waiting to see who you deliver the item to...”
