Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2741: Chapter 1951: Farewell, Mollya

According to Bai Xuanyu, the situation is urgent. Since Bai Xiaosheng has already agreed to support Mrs. Margery’s Sixth Business Division, it would be best if he sets out as soon as possible.

However, Bai Xuanyu also knows that Bai Xiaosheng is not someone with idle time.

On the contrary, whether it’s the Greater China Region, the Monitoring Department, or even Oshan, Bai Xiaosheng has a lot of affairs to handle.

And those affairs are all related to the interests of the Zhenbei Group.

When it comes to the group’s interests, Bai Xuanyu becomes attentive and realizes that Bai Xiaosheng needs some time to arrange everything properly.

”Mr. Bai Xiaosheng, how much time do you estimate you need to handle all matters to ensure you can travel for an extended period?”

Bai Xuanyu, being thoughtful, asked for Bai Xiaosheng’s opinion.

Bai Xiaosheng thought for a moment and said, ”Three days.”

”I’ll give you five days to prepare thoroughly.” Bai Xuanyu said.

This could be considered a rare generosity on his part.

Bai Xiaosheng did not decline, just nodded.

”This undertaking is of great importance, and I sincerely hope you succeed swiftly and smoothly!” Bai Xuanyu solemnly said to Bai Xiaosheng again.

Bai Xiaosheng smiled, ”I will rely heavily on Mr. Bai’s support. But rest assured, I won’t ask for an extra penny or make any excessive demands.”

Bai Xuanyu gazed at Bai Xiaosheng for a few seconds, nodding slightly, then looked down at his watch and said to both of them, ”It’s getting late; I have other matters to attend to, I’ll take my leave first.”

Mrs. Margery, standing by, spoke at this time, ”Mr. Bai, I have some matters here that I need to discuss with you.”

After speaking, Mrs. Margery looked at Bai Xiaosheng, smiled, and said, ”Mr. Bai, I’ll have someone send you the paper documents and will also come to your Asian Division to find you later.”

Mrs. Margery implied that the conversation between her and Bai Xuanyu had nothing to do with Bai Xiaosheng, and she did not wish for him to be present.

Bai Xiaosheng smiled knowingly, ”Alright, I’ll leave first then.”

Bai Xuanyu nodded, and together with Mrs. Margery, watched Bai Xiaosheng leave.

Subsequently, Bai Xuanyu said to Mrs. Margery, ”Mrs. Margery, let’s go to my office to chat.”

...

After leaving the meeting room, Bai Xiaosheng walked leisurely towards the Asian Division’s office location.

On the way, Bai Xiaosheng contemplated, mentally sifting through what Mrs. Margery had mentioned.

The Sixth Business Division was boldly expanding its business investments, and the group was giving substantial support as always, even going all out in the face of such a significant crisis. Reflecting on Mrs. Margery’s words, it was easy to glimpse the enormous commercial ”ambition” behind it.

This is indeed a rare business opportunity!

Bai Xiaosheng thought to himself, ”In the coming year, I not only have to rescue the group’s assets but also find ways to complete the upgrade tasks. Of course, I can’t miss this chance to hitch a ride; I need to consider how to utilize the commendable commercial layout and resources of the Sixth Business Division to develop my enterprises while pulling in a few influential families to enlarge the pie, achieving multiple aims with one stone...”

Bai Xiaosheng wondered how to maximize the opportunity of this trip.

It was around five-thirty in the afternoon.

Although it was past office hours, there were still many employees coming and going inside the headquarters building.

This was not only due to substantial overtime benefits and bonus incentives but also the intensely competitive environment in a world-class conglomerate like the Zhenbei Group, where everyone was striving arduously to avoid being outpaced.

Bai Xiaosheng rode the elevator downstairs and walked on the floor where the Asian Division was located. Everyone he encountered had a hurried expression, yet none greeted him.

Although Bai Xiaosheng’s name was prominent, his face wasn’t known. Not to mention the most junior employees, even some mid-level and some senior-level employees didn’t recognize him.

Nevertheless, Bai Xiaosheng preferred to be low-profile and was glad to remain unknown, saving the bother of exchanging pleasantries, allowing him to focus on his thoughts while walking.

Just as Bai Xiaosheng was walking through a corridor, two people came over from the side, and one pointed at Bai Xiaosheng, ”Hey, you, stop.”

It was a woman’s voice, speaking English as precisely and standardly as a broadcaster, though the tone sounded imperiously casual, like addressing an inconsequential young employee.

Bai Xiaosheng, having just sorted out his train of thought, turned his attention upon hearing someone call out to him.

There were two women approaching, both young, one fashionably stylish, the other slightly demurer, both had blonde hair and impeccable figures.

The fashionably stylish woman was the one who stopped Bai Xiaosheng, glancing him up and down, with her chin slightly raised like a haughty duchess.

The slightly demure one, who had been looking elsewhere, also turned to Bai Xiaosheng at this moment but suddenly froze.

Bai Xiaosheng was momentarily surprised when he saw the other party.

”I asked you...” Just as the fashionably stylish woman started to speak, both the ”young employee” she stopped and her companion exclaimed simultaneously.

”It’s you?!”

The fashionably stylish woman froze for a moment, unable to resist looking at her companion, ”You know him?”

Of course, I do!

Bai Xiaosheng also recognized the other party, who was Mollya.

He had thought that after parting ways at Xixiaoer, they would not cross paths again shortly, but unexpectedly, they encountered each other at the group headquarters.

Mollya also had not expected to see Bai Xiaosheng here.
