Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2721: Chapter 1941: Headquarters Summons_2

In response, Chief Ogade surprisingly supported the idea.

Speaking of which, Bai Xiaosheng’s business alliance was so successful, thanks in large part to Oshan’s efforts behind the scenes. Chief Ogade understood that the bigger and better Bai Xiaosheng’s endeavors became, the more benefits Oshan would reap from them, so he gave his full support.

Currently, Chen Feiqiu came to Bai Xiaosheng, expressing a desire to collaborate and start two companies together, with himself as the chairman.

Bai Xiaosheng naturally agreed.

First, because they were friends. Second, it was a very good opportunity for him.

Originally, Bai Xiaosheng planned to establish a company in East Africa and West Africa, with himself as the major shareholder. Somehow, this plan got out, making it well-known to everyone.

As a result, Maiyous came to invest, Anlos came to invest, Hogson also came to invest...

Even Brady wanted to invest on behalf of his group, not to mention the business families in East Africa.

These two companies were yet to be born but were already surrounded by a halo of attention.

Chen Feiqiu felt it was great, considering them symbols of cohesive interests from all sides.

Bai Xiaosheng agreed to accept everyone’s investment, but the total should not exceed forty-nine percent. Bai Xiaosheng allowed Chen Feiqiu to become the major shareholder in his name while he retained three percent of the shares, thus remaining the largest shareholder in reality.

The two companies were formally set up within just one month.

At the time, Bai Xiaosheng was busy, and Chen Feiqiu pledged to oversee the preparations without any issues.

Bai Xiaosheng also felt confident since everyone was contributing, so naturally, there wouldn’t be any problems.

But no matter how well he planned, Bai Xiaosheng hadn’t accounted for the foreigners’ naming skills...

Possibly believing in a fusion of East and West, Chen Feiqiu and others felt that mysterious and ancient Huaxia characters combined with their official language was a perfect fit.

Thus, when Bai Xiaosheng was cutting the ribbon, he discovered the group’s name was a large ”Bai” character followed by the English word ”ONE.”

”ONE,” meaning ”one” in English.

Bai ONE Group?

Or is it called Bai One Group?

Honestly, when Bai Xiaosheng saw the name, his smile froze, and his mind went blank.

After the ribbon-cutting, Bai Xiaosheng swiftly pulled Chen Feiqiu aside for a conversation.

”Why does the group’s name include ’Bai’?” Bai Xiaosheng asked in surprise.

”Aren’t you surnamed Bai? Everyone thinks this Huaxia character is excellent!” Chen Feiqiu said matter-of-factly.

”Then why is there an English word afterwards?” Bai Xiaosheng asked again.

”We felt including the local common language better represents the friendship between Huaxia and Africa, our friendship,” Chen Feiqiu thought it was perfect.

”Why ’ONE’?” Bai Xiaosheng asked weakly.

”Aren’t we going to establish another company after this?” Chen Feiqiu smiled mysteriously.

Bai Xiaosheng was shocked and exclaimed, ”Don’t tell me, your second company is going to be called ’Bai Two’ Group!”

Chen Feiqiu’s eyes brightened, clapping his hands, saying, ”Isn’t it great, leaving a lasting impression!”

Bai Xiaosheng’s eyelids twitched, lost for words.

Finally, he mumbled, ”You guys... are really talented!”

Ultimately, Bai Xiaosheng couldn’t change the naming of those two companies.

Fortunately, he was just an unseen major shareholder behind the scenes, as both the nominal chairman and major shareholder were Chen Feiqiu.

This episode left Bai Xiaosheng feeling both amused and helpless, even sharing it as a joke with Wei Xuelian when she came to visit him.

Over the past year, whether during business trips or special visits, Wei Xuelian had met with Bai Xiaosheng four or five times.

Their meetings were always incredibly close.

When Bai Xiaosheng told her about this, Wei Xuelian burst into laughter.

During this time, Bai Xiaosheng had been helping the Wei family business rapidly expand in the African business world, earning a personal promise from Wei Tianhe Lao Yezi to renew Wei Xuelian’s tenure as Family Head.

In due time, Wei Xuelian could truly and completely be with him, no longer enduring their current situation of frequent separations.

This was one of Bai Xiaosheng’s motivations at work during this period.

Overall, Bai Xiaosheng had been living in Africa for over a year.

All aspects had stabilized.

That day, as Bai Xiaosheng contemplated when to return to his country, he received a phone call.

The caller was none other than the administrative supervisor at Zhenbei Group headquarters.

After identifying himself, the person politely said, ”Mr. Bai Xiaosheng, the group’s highest summoning order, please handle your affairs properly and return to headquarters in three days.”

Upon hearing this, Bai Xiaosheng was stunned and asked on the phone, ”What’s the matter?”

This summoning was issued by the group’s highest level, indicating something unusual.

Moreover, the fact that they gave three days to handle ongoing matters meant it was imperative to go, and it seemed he might have to stay for a while.

”Sorry, Mr. Bai Xiaosheng, I’m not sure about that, I’m just in charge of notifying,” the person politely replied.

Then the person added a sentence, ”This summons was initiated by the acting chairman, although we were not given detailed information, it seems you and other regional heads would temporarily leave your current roles, so I remind you to make medium to long-term arrangements for your current work.”

Bai Xiaosheng became increasingly surprised, thanked the caller, and then hung up.

After hanging up, Bai Xiaosheng called Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying, explaining the situation to them in detail.

”Is something big about to happen at the group headquarters?” Lin Weiwei seemed quite excited.

Bai Xiaosheng shook his head. He didn’t know either.

Lei Ying rationally said, ”The situation here is stable, leaving shouldn’t be an issue.”

Bai Xiaosheng nodded, saying, ”Send out invitations, tomorrow let’s invite everyone over for a meal and discuss the situation.”

The two of them nodded in agreement.

Bai Xiaosheng then went over all the work again with them.

That day, the three of them were busy.

By midday the next day, Bai Xiaosheng’s place became bustling.

Chen Feiqiu, Maiyous, Anlos, Brady, Hogson, and friends from the East African business community all arrived, bringing twenty or thirty people, enough to shake the entire continent’s business community.

Bai Xiaosheng drank and chatted with everyone, meanwhile informing everyone about his departure.

Actually, people like Chen Feiqiu and Anlos were already aware of this.

Among the attendees, some expressed reluctance, some tried to persuade him to stay, and some patted their chests, promising to take care of the businesses.

In short, each person had a different response.

Bai Xiaosheng thanked each of them and mentioned that during his North American trip, he would communicate with his group’s regional heads to see if they could facilitate business exchanges between there and here.

Upon hearing this, the attendees became very enthusiastic.

The luncheon continued until evening before finally ending, and the guests began to leave.

Those close to Bai Xiaosheng, like Chen Feiqiu and Anlos, stayed at Bai Xiaosheng’s Walking Palace, intending to have another long conversation with him.

To Bai Xiaosheng’s surprise, Brady pulled him aside when most people had left, maintaining his usual aloof demeanor.

”Mr. Bai, these days, you’ve shown me your uniqueness and excellence. I acknowledge your capabilities and your character.” Brady rarely praised him face-to-face, then changed his tone, ”But if someday you’re able to aspire to the pinnacle of our group... I would still choose to support that man!”

Bai Xiaosheng only smiled upon hearing this.

Brady looked at Bai Xiaosheng, with a hint of sincerity in his eyes.

”Take care when you return to headquarters, wishing you a safe journey.”

”However, you likely won’t stay at headquarters for too long... Either way, I look forward to hearing good news from you.”

”Looking forward to your even better achievements.”

After saying this, Brady nodded at Bai Xiaosheng and turned to leave.

His words were neither comprehensive nor straightforward, seemingly useless, yet potentially having deeper meaning.

He must have heard something.

Bai Xiaosheng watched Brady’s back, couldn’t help but murmur, ”I’m really growing more curious about this summons. Initiated by the acting chairman, huh...”

”Bai Xuanyu, just what are you up to?”
