This Doctor Is Too Wealthy

”Fei, is the medicine ready?”

”Not yet, it will take a few more minutes.”

”Fine, make sure it’s cooked well. Don’t rush.”

Du Fei used a chopstick to press down on the boiling medicine ingredients in the pot. ”What happened to Xiao Heng?”

”He got into a fight and fell from the entrance of Liang Lihai’s house.”

Du Fei was shocked. ”That place is not low; it’s more than ten meters high! Did he get seriously injured?”

”Cerebral hemorrhage.” Du Heng’s eyes were also fixed on the pot, watching the medicine ingredients boiling and the medicine bubbling. His mind was quickly thinking about the next steps.

”Goodness! You should rush him to the hospital. Why did you bring him to me?”

”First, let him drink the medicine, then take him to the hospital. I prescribed some blood-activating and tissue-regenerating drugs. I’m hoping that the bleeding in his brain can be self-digested without forming blood clots, so he won’t need surgery. If there are blood clots in the brain, surgery is necessary to remove them, but I’m a bit worried about the success rate.”

Du Fei listened carefully while watching the time on the wall. When it was almost ready, he quickly took the medicine out and put the cup with the medicine directly into the cold water pool to cool it down rapidly.

”Are you certain about this?”

”It just happened, and the time is very short. I think there’s a chance.”

”As long as you’re confident.”

After checking the temperature, Du Fei handed the decoction medicine to Du Heng. ”It’s ready. Let him drink it.”

Du Heng nodded and took it directly to his car. At this time, the back seat of the car had already been vomited all over by Liang Sen.

But Du Heng didn’t have time to care. He just glanced at it and said to Liang Hehai, ”Clean your son’s mouth and then pinch his mouth open.”

After drinking the medicine, Du Heng immediately drove away and asked Wu Shengnan to call Zhou Yixian at the Municipal First Hospital on the way.

On the way to the hospital, Du Heng not only made many calls but also received many calls.

With Du Heng’s call, Zhou Yixian had already prepared everything. As soon as Du Heng arrived, the patient was immediately transferred to a stretcher and rushed to the examination room.

Seeing the trembling fine needle on Liang Sen’s forehead, the people pushing the stretcher were very careful.

Du Heng didn’t relax either. Although he decided to save him this time, he was still afraid of what happened last time. If he created another vegetative state patient or someone permanently paralyzed, he wouldn’t dare to perform emergency rescues anymore; he would definitely be psychologically scarred.

Zhou Yixian also knew what happened last time and comforted Du Heng, ”It’s okay this time. You took action in time, and the patient was sent here in time. The success rate of the surgery is still very high.”

Du Heng didn’t say anything. He removed the fine needle that had been inserted into the Baihui (GV20) acupoint and stared intently at the real-time images transmitted from the device.

When everything was done, he finally let out a long sigh of relief. If the occasion weren’t so serious, he would even want to shout in celebration.

However, Zhou Yixian was staring wide-eyed. The image he saw was completely different from what he had expected.

After looking at it again with disbelief, he suddenly asked the Doctor of Inspection Department, ”Is your equipment broken, or is the operator unprofessional? Why is there no problem with the patient’s brain?”

The doctor operating the equipment was annoyed by Zhou Yixian’s words. ”Our equipment is fine, and there was not a single mistake in the operation process.”

”But... but... this is not a normal person’s brain CT scan! You know the patient has a cerebral hemorrhage.”

”Isn’t it good that there’s no hemorrhage? This indicates one of two things: either your diagnosis is wrong and the patient doesn’t actually have a cerebral hemorrhage, or the amount of bleeding was very small and has already been absorbed by the body.”

”Are you sure there’s no problem?”

”You’d better think about whether your diagnosis was wrong. How could my several-million-yuan machine make a mistake?”

Looking at the annoyed expression of the Doctor of Inspection Department, Zhou Yixian suddenly became happy. He then turned around and slapped Du Heng’s shoulder hard. ”See? I told you it’s fine! Look how scared you were.”

Du Heng also laughed while holding his shoulder. Regardless of whether it was the effect of his treatment or his misjudgment, the result was ultimately the best outcome.

Zhou Yixian happily said, ”Let’s go. It’s time to send the patient back.”

”Let’s go.”

Considering the observation results of the imaging, Du Heng did not insert the needle back in but just accompanied the nurse in pushing Liang Sen back easily.

Although Liang Sen’s gaze was still slightly dull and his expression very stiff at this point, as long as there was no blood clot in his brain, there wouldn’t be any major problems.

Other problems could be considered minor issues.

Zhou Yixian and Du Heng walked behind them. Looking at Liang Sen on the bed, Zhou Yixian said with emotion, ”President Du, I don’t know if you remember, but around the same time last year, you brought in a patient who was hit on the head by a falling beam?”

”I remember. He should have been called Zhang Xi.”

Zhou Yixian chuckled. ”I don’t know what his name was, but the situation scared me to death. He was fine during the examination, but after being sent back to the ward, he suddenly started bleeding again. He almost had an accident. I remember I called you at the time. That should have been our first phone call, right?”

Du Heng only nodded with a smile.

It was their first call at the time, but the feeling it left on Du Heng was not good. However, seeing that Zhou Yixian didn’t seem to feel awkward, Du Heng wouldn’t dampen the mood by bringing it up, since Zhou Yixian had probably forgotten what he said and how he had behaved.

”I think after this patient goes back, we should still set up some monitoring. Just in case the previous situation occurs again, we’ll have a response.”

”That’s necessary.” Du Heng nodded.

Although he seemed relaxed now, most of his attention was still on Liang Sen.

And it was this attention that made Du Heng, who was talking and laughing, suddenly widen his eyes and rush to Liang Sen’s side in a few steps.

At this moment, Liang Sen, who had been moved less than a hundred meters, was unconscious again.

Quickly reaching out to check his pulse, Du Heng found it was still a scattered pulse, without any change.

Du Heng understood that he had been careless. If he had checked Liang Sen’s pulse earlier in the CT room, he definitely would not have been so optimistic when sending him out.

”Go back! Hurry!”

”What’s wrong, President Du?” Zhou Yixian also hurried to the front.

When he saw Liang Sen’s condition, he wanted to slap himself twice. Why did I mention that previous patient? This is a classic case of jinxing!

Without waiting for Du Heng’s answer, he quickly called for the Department staff to push Liang Sen back to the CT room.

”What the hell? Did you guys hit the patient’s head against the wall while you were out? Why is there so much bleeding in such a short time?”

”Stop the chatter and look at the bleeding location.”

Zhou Yixian impatiently interrupted the Doctor of Inspection Department, staring straight at the image on the screen.

”Let’s do a few more positions. It’s not easy to make a judgment right now.” Saying so, he prepared to adjust.

But Du Heng couldn’t wait any longer. As long as it was confirmed to be cerebral hemorrhage, combined with the previous treatment, he had already gotten what he wanted.

He immediately stretched out his hand to stop the Doctor of Inspection Department. ”Thank you, no need to bother. Open the door; we need to send the patient back.”

The Doctor of Inspection Department glared. ”How can that work? Without finding out the location of the bleeding, how will you operate later? You won’t let the patient go through this again, will you? That would be a bit too much. This examination is not only expensive, but it also has radiation.”

Du Heng shook his head. ”We’re not going to perform surgery.”

”Conservative treatment? Can you actually do it? You’re playing with the patient’s life!”

”It’s been forty minutes since the patient was injured. The reason there was no blood stasis in his brain earlier? That was my treatment. So, do you still question my ability?”

The Doctor of Inspection Department was dumbfounded. He racked his brains but couldn’t fathom what kind of treatment Du Heng had performed to leave the patient’s brain free of blood stasis.

Although he was very curious, Du Heng had no intention of explaining. After asking him to open the door again, Du Heng quickly went in and reinserted the needles that had been removed earlier.

Moreover, this time, Du Heng added ST-36 and LV-03 to help relieve the dizziness caused by the hemorrhage, hoping that Liang Sen could regain consciousness as soon as possible.
